“H-Harder.” A voice moaned out into the barely lit bedroom. The only source of light came from the TV as a raunchy video played on repeat. Two people were facing the TV as one person was held down by the other, getting slammed into without abandon. The person harshly thrusting while gripping the other’s neck watched the video with dark, intense eyes. He lifted the moaning person into his lap, letting the other watch the video while sucking on their neck and holding them in place.

The one getting fucked through every inch of his life, grabbed his leaking shaft, rubbing it. He reached back with his other hand, pulling the person’s hair, “Lil’Vine is tasty.” The one thrusting glanced back at the screen, zeroing in on Doyun’s stuffed mouth. “Yongsun,” Jin-Sang whispered, grabbing Yongsun’s throat, squeezing it as he captured his lips for a bruising kiss.

When they separated, Jin-Sang pulled away Yongsun’s hand and took over rubbing his (Y) shaft. He hit against Yongsun’s pleasure spot harder, feeling that Yongsun was almost there. “Don’t look away from the TV.” He demanded, his glasses almost slipped off his face. Yongsun looked once again. Jin-Sang’s harsh thrusting, his hands rubbing him, and the scene of Doyun on the video sent Yongsun over the edge. He climaxed with a loud groan. Jin-Sang followed soon after, moaning into Yongsun’s ear as he spilled inside him.

They were breathing hard, calming down. Jin-Sang pulled out Yongsun as liquid spilled out. “He doesn’t want to give us an answer.” Jin-Sang believed as he finally took off his glasses; he was starting to feel better.

Yongsun turned around, facing Jin-Sang, as he didn’t care about the liquid slipping down between his legs and onto the bed. He ran his hand down Jin-Sang’s face, to his chin, and stopped at his throat. He smirked, “It is okay, we already caught him in our net, no?”

“Hmm.” Jin-Sang leaned forward, barely an inch from Yongsun’s lips, “He is trapped.” He closed the gap between them, claiming his husband’s lips. The video still played on repeat behind them.

You cannot run away, Lil’Vine.

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

Screams echoed throughout each street as the ground shook, cracking under the heavy weights. Blood filled the air, moving with the wind, filling every crack it could find. Pieces of buildings hit the ground, and others ran away while fires began to build, adding more heat to the already hot air. Cars crashed into each other, getting left behind as they built up in the streets. Everywhere you looked, monsters poured out, people ran with every inch of their life, and others were grabbed, either being eaten or torn apart.

A 10-year-old Daeshim held onto a 4-year-old Doyun as they ran down the busy and messy street. Daeshim’s face held zero emotions as he carried his little brother, but when he felt how hot Doyun was, his eyebrows furrowed, finally showing a lick of emotion. Doyun tightly wrapped his arms around his brother’s neck, breathing unevenly as his body felt like it was on fire. “Hyung.” He whined, not feeling well.

“Hold on a little longer,” Daeshim responded, panting hard. His legs and arms burned from never-ending movement while holding onto a slightly heavy weight.

Doyun opened his heavy eyes, glancing at the carnage presented around them. Monsters were everywhere, crawling around the streets and hanging from the buildings. They grabbed onto the slower people within reach, ripping their bodies apart, or taking huge chunks of them, chewing and swallowing them like a simple meal. Doyun closed his eyes, no longer wanting to see more; it was vastly different from the horror movies he had seen.

But once he closed his eyes, he felt something hit against him and his brother. He felt his brother’s grip loosen as his world tilted over. “Doyun!” Daeshim yelled as Doyun harshly hit the ground, rolling a few spots from him. Doyun moaned in pain, unable to stand up as his body felt like it had been hit by a truck. He didn’t notice that a goblin, stepping out of an alley, was a few feet behind him.

Daeshim’s heart sank when he saw the goblin covered in blood, holding a stained club. Its eyes quickly locked onto Doyun with a bloodthirsty smile. Doyun, barely noticing, tried to crawl towards his brother since his legs felt heavy. His small hands were cut as blood leaked out from the wounds, mixing with the broken ground. He didn’t get far when a green hand with sharp nails gripped his hair, pulling his head back. “Hyung!” He screamed in pain.

Daeshim gritted his teeth, trying to stand when he felt a sharp pain in his leg. Glancing back, he saw that a piece of a shard was embedded in his calf—he could barely move. Doyun didn’t try to struggle as he continued to glance at his brother with teary eyes and a flushed face. His vision was blurry, and he was almost blacking out from his heated and bruised body. Nobody noticed that a vine, wiggling like a worm near Doyun, moved itself into one of Doyun’s leg wounds. As Doyun lay tightly in the goblin’s grip, the goblin lifted his club, getting ready to swing down and bash in Doyun’s head.

Adrenaline filled Daeshim’s body as he forced himself to stand up and run towards Doyun, stretching out his arm. But, he couldn’t reach in time—the large wound held him back. Doyun opened his mouth to speak, but passed out before a word could slip through. And as the club was an inch from his face, thousands of vines sprouted out of Doyun’s body, surrounding him while enclosing the goblin’s arm with it.

The goblin panicked, trying to pull out its arm, but the vines tightly held on, pulling its body inside. “Eeek!” The goblin cried as the vine swallowed its body whole, while the stained club hit the ground. Once the goblin and Doyun were inside the vines, the vine formed an egg on the outside, blocking off the world. Inside the vine-shaped egg, Doyun was unconscious, his body curled up. The vines absorbed the goblin's body until it turned into dust. The wounds around Doyun disappeared as his skin cleared and became clean; even his face was no longer red as his fever subsided. He was sleeping peacefully.

Outside stayed the same, except that bright lights surrounded more people as power coursed through them. Daeshim limped towards the vine-shaped egg, touching it. The vines felt alive—they were warm and pulsing. “Doyun.” Daeshim softly whispered. He no longer cared about his bleeding wound or the changing air as people started to realize that they could finally fight back. The only thing on his mind was his brother.

He hugged the vine-shaped egg, feeling as if he were holding his brother. Daeshim slightly lifted the egg, feeling that it was light, as he half-dragged them to the alley the goblin came from. The alley was littered with dead bodies, smelling horrible, but Daeshim didn’t care as he pulled them to a wall. He set the egg down and slid down the blood-splattered wall, finally being mindful of his wound.

Once he was sitting, he glanced at the shard still embedded in his calf. He ripped the bottom of his shirt, then pulled out the shard as blood started gushing out. He tightly tied the torn piece around the wound and lay his head on the egg. Daeshim didn’t care if monsters came; he only wanted to rest with his brother. Daeshim closed his eyes.

Inside the egg, Doyun woke up.

“Gasp.” Doyun sat up, his blanket almost sliding off as he gripped his throbbing head. Fuck. He thought, trying to calm his headache. Under his blanket, he could feel his vines moving up his body, wanting to surround him like protection. “Stop, I am fine,” Doyun commented, finally letting go of his head when he felt his headache subsiding. Once he spoke, the vines completely disappeared. Sometimes, he swore it was like they had a mind of their own.

He ran his hand through his hair, feeling better, but what did I dream about? Doyun couldn’t remember his dream, but he did know it made his head feel like someone had rammed a car into it. He tried remembering it, but he felt another headache coming on. Forget it. He thought. Doyun got up to get ready for the day.

When he walked into the kitchen, Changmin was making a plate for them both. He set the plates on the table near the kitchen, “Good morning. Come eat.” Changmin greeted him when he saw him. Doyun sat down, grabbing the cup of water instead of the food. “Did you get the schedule of the funerals?”

“Yeah. The team needs to decide how they want to do the groups.” Changmin took the cup from his hands, replacing it with utensils and pushing the plate of food closer to him. “Eat.”

“I’m not hungry,” Doyun commented. “And once you all decide on the groups, let us know. The first funeral is this afternoon.” He tried reaching for the water while switching the conversation.

“You are.” Changmin moved the water to the kitchen and came back to the table, sitting down. “If I have to feed you like a child, I will, Doyunie. And we will send it over once the groups are finalized. We will have it done before the first funeral.”

Doyun clicked his tongue, glancing at the food, then Changmin and back before finally eating. He slowly ate, meticulously chewing his food to prove to Changmin that he was eating. His expression lay blank while the food tasted like nothing in his mouth. Today seemed to be one of those days when food held no taste to him.

“You don’t have to act as I sent you to your execution. Eating is important.”

“I am eating it.” Doyun slightly frowned.

Changmin sighed, but didn’t continue the conversation, changing it, “It is good you are completely healed before going into work. The way you looked last night was something.”

“Don’t mention it.” Doyun would rather fight about eating than have a conversation about what happened last night.

“I am not, I was only commenting. What’s wrong? You don’t seem to be in a good mood.”

Doyun shook his head, “It is nothing. I had a weird dream last night, but I cannot remember it.” And remembering only made his head hurt. However, what he could slightly grasp was that his older brother was a part of the dream. But Doyun would never mention that because he rarely talks about his family with anyone.

Changmin reached over, checking Doyun’s forehead with his palm, “If you are not feeling well, you can stay home.”

Doyun pulled away Changmin’s hand with a chuckle, “Did you forget, I cannot get sick?”

“Your vine defense is a broken skill,” Changmin complained.

“Everything has its pros and cons.” Like how he cannot get drunk. Seriously, it sucks. Imagine going out to drink, only for your body to purge it every time because it believes alcohol is a ‘poison.’

“True.” Changmin glanced at Doyun’s plate, still seeing most of the food remaining, “Now, finish your food.”

“I am not a baby,” Doyun muttered, but still tried to eat everything on the plate. I wonder if I will get to see the husbands today. He thought while swallowing down each bite painstakingly.

Kim Doyun, a C-class awakener, is perfectly content with his PR job at the number one guild, the Serpents. Not only does he make good enough money without being a hunter, but he also gets to see his crushes: Im Jin-Sang and Choi Yongsun.

Im Jin-Sang and Choi Yongsun are S-class hunters and happily married. Doyun knows he has a zero chance with them, plus they barely notice him to begin with. Until one late night changes everything between them, setting a course for awakening something long dormant.

Now, what should he do when two powerful hunters want his attention?

-The summary is light and simple, but the story is dark.
-Jin-Sang and Yongsun switch while Doyun is a bottom.
-This is a throuple/trio.
