Drake continued to back away, still frozen in shock by something no living being in Hell should ever say. The kind of thing to could get an entire country demonetized let alone a channel. He did so until eventually he banged his head against a sign and shook it to regain his senses. It was there he remembered what was important right now. He had to find Violet.
So he looked around but there were too many people. Between the families, the annoying sinner kids, the shitty costumes and the even shittier gifts and games. Finding a violet haired witch would’ve been easy if not for the fact most sinners look like flamboyant monstrosities.
He pushed aside people while turning his head to see any trace of her. He searched top to bottom with eyes focused on every game or ride as if he were a hawk until finally he caught a glimpse of a purple haired woman entering the ferris wheel cart at the head of the que. Bingo.
He rushed in after her while calling her name but she didn’t hear as she slowly walked into the cart of the wheel. The door was about to close with her inside. After rushing like mad, he pushed aside anyone in the line no matter how many people were pissed off about it. Drake pushed the ticket seller aside without buying a ticket and with outrageous strength and speed, he lunged and made it to the cart before the door closed behind him.
The room inside was large. White walls around with only one of them being a glass window for the view of all of Hell. Except of course Drake could see she was not seeing the as she was in a corner, curled up and face sunken. She looked up and noticed Drake here in the same cart with her.
Violet
“Drake? What are doing here? Can’t you see i want to be alone?”.
Drake
“Look Violet I....”
Suddenly the cart and the room started shaking nearly knocking both of them off their feet. Vibrations and the sounds of clanking. It kept shaking until it eventually stops. The cart they were in somehow had stopped moving. All the while it was at the very top of the wheel. With the doors locked and the wheel stuck, they were completely trapped inside of the wheel.
Speaker inside the cart
“Attention there has been some malfunction inside the ride. Please remain calm as their will be maintenance on the way. Thank you.”
Violet yelled
“You mean to tell me we’re stuck here? Oh screw this, I’m out of here”
She raised her hand against the glass window. Focusing all her magic in a single point to blast it into a million pieces. But as the hand sparked only smoke came out like dust with a fart noise. She was dumbfounded.
Drake, arms crossed.
“Rides in Hell have an anti demonic field. Nobody can use demon magic while on the rides. They do it so nobody starts a riot or causes damage. Luckily this place did not account for pure muscles. Stand aside.”
Drake faced the wall and stood in a fighting pose. He bent his knees for solid ground work and positions his hips for rotation. He clenched his fist as he pulled back behind him before turning his body to deliver a devastating punch to the wall. Unfortunately nothing happened and only one thing came out of Drake’s mouth.
“MOTHER FUCKER!!!”
His hand swollen, pulsing and red as he yelled in pain.
“They have money to buy Angel Iron but couldn’t budget for a decent mechanic?”
Violet was bursting in laughter as Drake continued to groan in pain. She kept laughing like the air was leaving her.
Drake, annoyed.
“I don’t know you’re enjoying yourself it’s your fault we’re stuck here.”
Violet, frowned and bitterly said.
“Well nobody told you to chase after me. If you had just left me alone. You wouldn’t be in this mess.”
Drake replied angrily.
“Well I couldn’t just leave there after that fiasco with that Scarlet bitch.”
Violet, stepping in and poking his chest.
“Who asked you to do any of that. I never asked you to save me or any of that rubbish. Why do you even give a shit any way?”
Drake
“It’s just that...... “
Violet
“Just what? You were worried I was going to disappear? That I wouldn’t be useful?”
Drake, step back
“What now I.......”
Violet, turning around and slapping her ass.
“Oh I get it now. You think you could play your cards right and you can have this sweet Latina Indian ass eh?”
Drake, started to get frustrated
“That’s not it at all!”
Violet paused a bit the took a look at him and scoffed.
“Oh no wait. You expect me to believe you came out here because you care about me? You think just because we shared a few drinks, messed around in this shitty festival, that means we’re suddenly best buddies?”
She walked up and they were face to face up close.
“Listen here. I don’t give a damn about you. You are nothing more to me than a pawn for me to reclaim my empire. A muscle brained servant for my agenda. I don’t give a damn about you. As soon as I rebuild me empire, I will toss you out like a used wash cloth.
Violet then started grinning and acting like her usually self.
“Though I suppose it’s no surprise that eventually you’d start falling head over heels with me considering everyone else does.”
Drake finally snaps and booms at her.
“For crying out loud will you cut it with that bullshit.”
Violet flinches as she is taken a back.
“Excuse me?”
Drake scolds
“You think I don’t see through this whole, “I’m better than everyone else” bullshit? You think I don’t see that this attitude stems from the fact that you hate yourself and tries to look down on everyone else to hide it? That this is nothing more than a facade to mask you’re insecurities and how much you hate yourself for being a copy of someone else?”
Violet, frowns
“You don’t know what you’re talking about? You don’t know anything”
Drake
“I know that you envy Scarlet. I know that you hate yourself for not being her. I know that she got to you back there. I know that you hate her for looking down on you and by that extent hate yourself even more. I know you wish you had her life instead of this one. What more do I need to know?”
Violet, slowly trembling with anger
“That’s not it at all. Not all of it anyway”
Drake
“Oh please it’s a tale as old as the concept of cloning itself. You don’t see yourself as a real person so you try to prove it to her and everyone else. That’s why you’re always trying to make everyone else feel even crappier than you.”
Violet, shaking like she’s trying to hold back something
“That has nothing to do with it at all.”
Drake
“Bullshit!”
Violet
“You don’t understand anything.”
Drake
“Then what? Why don’t you tell me then?”
Violet
“I don’t have to tell you anything. Shut up.”
Drake
“Because you know I’m right.”
Violet
“No you are wrong.”
Drake
“How am I wrong then? Tell me. Tell me how I’m wrong. How am I wrong? How? HOW!?”
