I think this is the first time I’ve read a manhwa or novel where aristocratic women don’t know how to read and/or write; usually, in stories like this, noblewomen have hobbies that include reading for pleasure and exchanging letters with one another.
Broke and desperate, Marin talks her way into a job assisting Gerald von Vines, the blind and temperamental duke. Her plan is simple: earn enough to rebuild her life and return to normalcy with her mother. But a moment of kindness backfires, landing her an unexpected promotion to fiancée. Now she is stuck managing a stubborn man who rejects help yet finds his only peace by her side. As their arrangement turns personal, will Marin and the Duke discover that some things are better felt than seen?
