Potion of life; so hard to drink,

Wished for it like a fool's muse.

Things became hard to calculate,

All the functions just stain.

When I was little—

Pills were hard to swallow.

How do I swallow this reality 

That asks to be gulped tomorrow?

Strange how existence plays with us,

Without replaying the rules.

I zoned out before that,

And was out by two.

Funny is how I stay quiet

For loss of words, I am.

Loss or Less; 

Whatever it is,

For stolen I was.

I bartered myself,

For all and nothing. 

Even my pieces weren't sold.
