The sun rises in the morning, emitting light in the city. Cointropolis is in a warm glow. On the sidewalk, Steve is walking, his phone in his ear. He’s holding a cake that says ‘’For Marla….’’

‘’Yeah, I just want to make things right you know? I want Marla to know that I’m not that frustrating teen anymore.’’ Steve says while holding the cake. His phone drops while Bradley is talking on the phone.

‘’Okay…while I think it’s a good idea. You didn’t have to waste your money on the cake.’’ Bradley responds concerned. Steve goes down, picking the phone, suddenly, the cake drops.

SPLORCH.

It’s on the ground, messed up. Steve gasps, he kneels down, trying to put the pieces together, ‘’Oh, no, no, no, no, no.’’ He mutters. ‘’It can’t be!’’ He shouts, panicked.

Steve then smacks his head, and holds it. His hair blowing, ‘’Think, Steve, Think, Think, Come on!’’

‘’Hello…Steve? Can you hear me? Are you there?’’ Bradley asks, wondering what’s going on. The connection going down. Steve grabs his phone and talks to Bradley, nervously.

‘’Ha-ha! Yes. I hear you! I’m now at her apartment. You can leave. Bye, Bye!’’ He hangs up instantly, forcing a smile that reaches his eyebrows.

On the other side, Lil Bot is walking. While Abel is following behind.

‘’So, uh…boss. How are we gonna kidnap Steve? Is there a procedure I forgot, or you made it like that?’’ Abel asks, curious.

Lil Bot just faces Abel, ‘’It’s just like that, Abel. What did you want to add?’’

Abel then pulls out his green gun and smirks, ‘’This! Bang! Bang!’’ He pulls the trigger and 7 green balls fly and burst into the sky, exploding like fireworks.

Abel puts the gun behind his back, ‘’Did I mess up?’’ Lil Bot laughs coldly, ‘’Isn’t it obvious?’’

Lil Bot continues walking and suddenly bumps into Steve who yelps. They both scream in shock.

‘’AAAAAH!’’

‘’Go away, Enemy!’’ Steve shouts as he grabs the cake and throws it on Lil Bot.

SPLASH!’’

Lil Bot just stands there, unamused and cold. The cake falling of his body. Steve is shocked that it’s Lil Bot. ‘’Oh…it’s you.’’ He says quietly. He then looks at the cake he threw.

‘’Lil Bot. Can you help me? I wanted to make amends with Marla and now I have nothing. Not even the cake. I’m not even prepared.’’ Steve says as he sits cross-legged on the sidewalk. Burying his face in his hands.

Lil Bot walks towards him, ‘’Steve. You did nothing wrong. Which amends do you want to make? You had a crush on a girl and the girl betrayed you. So what? What wrong thing did you do? If anything, you should make amends with…’’ Lil Bot pauses, looking at his hands, he then clutches it and resumes, ‘’…Your friends.’’

Lil Bot pats him, albeit aggressively. Steve looks at Lil Bot and smiles, ‘’Thanks, Lil Bot.’’

Lil Bot just stares at Steve, eye-twitching, ‘’…Your welcome.’’ Steve then sighs, ‘’I just don’t want anyone to not like me. But I think everyone hates me. I followed Marla and sidelined everyone there like props. And then next, I just change my goals every second. John is right…no one wants to root for me. I’m a bad leader. I’m…’’ Steve then chocks, ‘’A failed guy.’’

Lil Bot laughs bitterly, ‘’That’s why you can’t respawn.’’ Steve looks at Lil Bot, ‘’What do you mean?’’ Lil Bot then faces Steve, ‘’Because of how you were acting. The universe is asking if you deserve a second chance.’’

Steve then stares silently for a moment. He then stands up and decides, panicking, ‘’Then I should make amends with the gang. I will try to make them love me, I will forgive them every 2 seconds, I will apologize for being the worst leader.’’ Steve then paces frantically, ‘’That’s what this is. A big puzzle that I need to solve. I need to find the pieces!’’

Steve then sees stale pizza on the ground and organizes them like pieces, ‘’Maybe this one. Maybe here, maybe this one, Yes, what does John want? What does Shaun like? What does Tiff need? What does Rita want? I need to show some appreciation for Bradley!’’

Lil Bot then turns more angrier; he then signals Abel. Abel then flies with his green guns. ‘’Hasta la vista, baby.’’

Steve turns around and finds Abel flying in the air with guns. He then screams and grabs the stale pizza box as a shield. Abel spins the guns around, shooting 7 large bullets at Steve. Steve then rolls forward as the guns hit the tree. Sending large green ropes towards Steve. Steve then hides behind Lil Bot.

‘’Protect me, Lil Bot! Protect me!’’ Steve shouts, panicked. Lil Bot turns around and punches Steve.

BANG!

A harsh, mechanical punch that sends Steve bouncing on the ground. Lil Bot then shape-shifts into a snake, walking around and tying Steve, he then shape-shifts into a large rope circle, which ties Steve in the exact sphere shape. Lil Bot then flies out, Steve is trapped.

‘’Lil Bot…what are you doing?’’ Steve asks, shocked by the aggression. ‘’Betrayal.’’ Lil Bot coldly mutters.
