"If only this could just happen to us!" Loyd exploded while talking to his mother.
"What do you mean, son?" His mother was surprised.
"I was at the edge of losing it all. I could never ever compete with myself."
"Son, no need to compete with yourself. You need just to enjoy the game."
"But sometimes I feel that I'm left all alone."
"No need for self-pity. You shouldn't be driving yourself crazy and insane like that."
"I'm going to show you crazy if you never deliver my ice-cake to me by four p.m."
"Boy! Aren't you cranky?"
"I sure am cranky for Mama's belongings."
"What do you suggest?"
"That I would just devour you like there is no tomorrow."
"Aren't you cheeky?" She understood.
"Oh, Ma'. What is life just without you? I can't withstand the thought of ever not having you by my side."
"You won't son. You need just to rely on yourself more and pursue happiness for all."
"And how could you ever do that?"
"By concentrating on your goals and bringing the best out of you and the others; and enjoying the game."
"Sometimes I just long to become someone like you."
"No one is anyone, Loyd. Always remember, you are the truest version of yourself. Just search your heart and soul and you'll find much more than you've wished for."
