Demon From Earth

[5] [Teeny Tiny Baby]

[5] [Teeny Tiny Baby]

May 24, 2026

She went to a cabinet and opened a drawer. My eyes went wide when I saw the treasures hidden there.

"Holy sh--nitzel" I gasped.

"With how you're looking at it, I think I'll have to keep the drawer locked" the nurse laughed.

"I mean no harm!" I hurried to assure.

She laughed again at my panicking self before handing me that delicious candy. I happily took the lollipop from her unwrapped it and put it in my mouth. I stayed silent and cooperative while she placed the band-aid over my wound.

When she was done, Father did something I don't know if I could ever forgive him about.

He simply took the lollipop from my mouth when I loosened my grip on it, and tossed it into the garbage. And I was left shocked once again.

"How dare youuuu??"

I started throwing punches. They weren't strong at all though, I was kinda holding myself back.

But even if I wasn't, I wouldn't really dare to punch him for real.

"Okayyy, before he completely loses it, I suggest we'd get going" Mother finally intervened, saving Daddy's ass.

I pouted and gave him a side eye as we made our way out of the infirmary and the school gates.

"I can't believe you" I whined. "You have no idea how good that candy was. That lame excuse for gummy bears that you buy, are awful. They were definitely made for diabetic people. I'm not diabetic!" I threw my arms to the skies, evincing my irritation.

"What are you talking about.. They actually taste pretty good."

"Nope, they taste bad. You need to try -real- sugar, then you'll understand."

"One day.."

I rolled my eyes. "That's what you said for the past decade."

"Look at you, talking like an old man." He pinched my cheeks. "You're still a teeny tiny baby. Or have you forgotten?"

"Real. Your Father knows very well what he's saying" Mother agreed with him.

"Okay.. Can we stop pretending now that you guys are my parents? I can't stop internally gagging."

"Hey, I don't think it was that bad" Ameh said.

"You're right. It was horrible" I laughed.

"Also, think what you want, but I know what I'm talking about. You guys need to try real sugar." I yawned, laying my head on Vahlen's shoulder. I wanted a bit of rest before I got investigated.

I think I did fall asleep for a few minutes because someone was gently shaking me awake. I whined in annoyment but opened my eyes, stretching when I was placed down.

Yeah I know. I'm one hell of a whiner. Get used to it.

I felt the presence of someone familiar and looked up, getting a smile in return as the man opened his big arms, inviting me to his embrace.

"There's my favorite demon" he cooed. He's the only who can talk to me like that. No one else can! Well.. they can. But they're not allowed. Nuh-huh!

I wiped my tired eyes and jumped into his arms. It didn't take him more than a second to notice the band-aid on the left side of my forehead.

He too, held my chin between his fingers and tilted my head up as he examined it. It's like he and Vahlen plan on those same moves together sometimes. There was nothing much to see as the band-aid covered the wound.

"What happened to you?" He asked what Vahlen had. But unlike Vahlen, he did not supress his growl.

What is WRONG with those people. They need to take a VK and chillax.

"I–"

"Do not even think about lying to me" he warned. Again, scarier than Vahlen had.

"Yeah.. I already warned him about that" Vahlen informed.

"Mhhh! I was not going to!" I grumbled.

Rahkuf went to sit on the sofa, the others followed his example. He settled me on his lap and they all looked at me, waiting.

I took a deep breath. I thought that this someone was not going to return anytime soon. But it was barely a few months and he's here again. By his words and how he acted, I knew he was coming for me. And soon.

Thinking about this again made the nervousness come back.

I was a bit scared honestly. Even with everyone here by my side I was afraid he'll suddenly show up. Just like what happend in the school's restroom. I did not even know him. I didn't know what were his intentions.

And all of those thoughts got me shaken again with nerves, worry, and fear.

I sniffled, and immediately was scooped into different arms.

I thought it was over already. What does he want from me??

"Kaiven, hey, what's wrong?" Vahlen asked, holding me back by the shoulders. He growled, frustrated that he did not know what happened to me.

"Hey, I need you to tell me who it was. Come on.."

I looked up at him with tears in my eyes as I whispered "Daemen."
