Surprise, welcome home Flower~"
Elara stood there stunned, where is she? Is this his bedroom?the dance.. was it . A trap? Did he plan for this? Why did he take her here?
Her mind swirled with questions as she took another step back, her eyes fixated on Offendermans face. Anger boiled in her stomach, oh how she wanted to hurt him right now..
"What is that supposed to mean?!" She growled stepping closer to him.
"Flowe-" Offender started but Elara interrupted him this time.
"NO! this time you listen to me!" She yelled, tears forming in her yes. "For a MOMENT I actually TRUSTED you and you pull THIS?!" She screamed, waving a finger in front of his face.
"I can explai-" he started again but she was having none of it.
"Oh CAN you?!" She spat moving even closer. "Then by all means! First you did God knows what to a innocent boy for simply fucking EXiSTING and now you have the absolute GALL to kidnap me right in the middle of prom?!" She crossed her arms over her chest, her breathing heavy as the first tear ran down her face. "Give me ONE good reason I shouldn't be clawing the remainder of your face out right now!'"
Offender was quiet for a moment his grin long gone as he carefully looked over her face. Her eyes were red and puffy, tears running down her cheeks while all the heat has rushed to her face. He had never seen her so angry.
"And you think I'd ruin that?" He asked, his tone held no lust, no playfulness. He lowered himself, gently meeting her gaze.
"I DONT KNOW!" She yelled, the lump in her throat causing her voice to crack. "I can't fucking read you! You do the craziest shit and get away with it!"
She looked around the room, her breathing heavy, she came close to hyperventilating. "I was having the best moment of my life and now I'm HERE!" She said, running both hands through her messy brown locks at the frustration.
"I brought you here because I genuinely wanted you in my world, where you belong." He stated and sighed softly, reaching out with his hands to hold her shaking ones, his thumbs rubbing softly on the back of her hands. "I wanted you to meet my family."
Elara looked down at their hands, his words resonating in her mind. Her vision was blurry, she wanted to rip her hands away, yet feeling his warmth around her trembling skin was so soothing.. she didn't know what to do..
"Then why didn't you tell me this?" She asked. sniffling softly yet still glaring at him through her tears.
"I wanted it to be a surprise." He stated and she let out a snort, pulling away from him.
"That's not how surprises work" she growled crossing her arms over her chest. "This is Called kidnapping, might want to add that to your criminal resume"
Offenderman rubbed one of his hands over his face, chuckling softly at her sarcasm. "Duly noted~." A small smile formed on his lips despite her anger.
"You were amazing during the dance you know that?" He said causing Elara to look up at him, visibly surprised. She did not expect him to say that.
"What?"
"Yeah, especially that smile, that smile has swept me off my feet more than once." He stated and tilted his head as he looked at her.
"Made everything worth it." Elara stared at him, the rage boiling in her stomach had significantly died down. But now she was just bewildered. She didn't know what to say to that.
It felt weird seeing him act genuine for once. He didn't have that smug smile on his face, he leveled with her. For once she feels like he genuinely didn't understand why this would hurt her.
She took a step closer to him. Her eyes scanning his featureless face for any hint of deception, yet like always she couldn't tell. A frustrated sigh escaped her, she hated the part of herself that actually believed him.
"Yeah well..so did you.. at the prom..." she mumbled, still glaring at him.
Offender reached out once again, offering his hand to her.
She looked at it for a moment, not sure about accepting it after all that.
Elara took in a deep shaky breath and closed her eyes, trying to place her feelings before making a decision. Although it didn't really help, she still felt all over the place and exhausted from the screaming and the crying and the overall anger this took out of her.
Glancing at his hand one more time, Elara slowly placed her hand in his once again. And just like the first time, he elegantly twirled her into his arms, but unlike the first time he quietly kept her there, his arms wrapping around her in a soft comforting hug.
His warmth enveloped her, and she slowly made herself comfortable against his chest.
They sat like that for a little while, and for once the silence didn't bother her, all she focused on was his steady heartbeat and the way his finger drew invisible patterns on her back.
Until eventually Elara decided to break the silence.
"Who taught you how to dance like that?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"If you've been around as long as I have, you pick a few things." He stated gently, his chin resting on the top of her head. "But I can teach you if you'd like flower~" he purred softly, earning a small smile from the young woman.
"I think I would like that.." she replied and moved her head to face him. "No more weird stunts like that." She said sternly. Earning a small grin from the monster before her.
"I'll do my best~" he purred, earning a small eye roll from Elara. She studies his face, well the lack of a face really. It looked so unnatural but after everything that this menace had put her through as well as done for her, looking atbit didn't feel so strange anymore.
She reached up, her finger gently brushing against the white skin where his eyes and nose should've been. The skin was smooth much like her own. For once, he didn't seem that much like a monster anymore. Her fingers traced over the creatures mouth, thin lips and mouth full of sharp shark like teeth. She softly scraped her teeth over her lower lip, wondering if his felt the same as her own.
Without thinking, she slowly leaned in, closing her eyes as her lips pressed softly against his
