Got to see Robyn again this morning! Finally had the guts to take her for breakfast at one of the coffee shops she loves, it basically killed the rest of my savings but totally worth it. I regaled her with tales of my epic escapes from Miss Morgan, and she told me she had run into a knight as well together with a few of the Rooftoppers. She said it almost came to blows before he backed down, apparently not even a knight wants to take on five Seyari. Also, apparently she has barely seen Seb for a week now, he seems completely focused on… whatever it is he’s up to.

Kaela and I went “home” today, Robyn stayed with the Rooftoppers, I think she wants to keep an eye out for Seb. Everything was the way we left it, so either we got super lucky or Kaela’s concealment trick really worked. At this point I don’t know which is more likely, but I should probably just take her word for it, she’s a lot better at using the Shadow than I am.

The electricity is still on, can’t believe we’ve gotten away with tapping into someone’s power for three months now! And most importantly, my bike’s still here. Life’s good.
