Technically, the title of this Romance Fantasy [Dynastic Marriage: The Fallen and The Crowned 凯洛斯山的十叶花] Manhua should be translated to something like “[The] Ten Petaled Flower(s) of Mount Kelos” or “[The] Ten Leafed Flower(s) of Mount Kelos.”
The word “凯洛斯山” (kai luo si shan), I would just translate it to “Mount Kelos” or something or the sort since it is a translation by pronunciation rather than meaning of a seemingly fictional Western style Chinese name 凯洛斯 (after searching up the name, I can not find an actual mountain named after it -> But it does feel like it would be something coming from Greek mythology). The [The] doesn't exist in the OG Chinese but it is kind of implied, so I added it. The word “十叶花” (shi ye hua) doesn't seems to be a name of a real flower after searching it up so I would just translate it to either “Ten Petaled Flower(s)” or “Ten Leafed Flower(s)” (Translation by meaning) and since the word can be either plural or singular, I added the (s) at the end.
Oh wait, IDK the Chinese meaning of the word, but the English “Kelos” (after searching) seems to either mean “burning”/ “burned” in ancient Greek, is a series of Celosia plants, or is a Kubernetes coding system. IDK… (If someone is more knowledgeable on the subject, please tell me if it is correct or not.)
The OG Chinese name has like nothing to do with the current English name they translated it to, IDK why they would translate it into this…
Don't mind me being on a rant on the translation… sorry again… (and this is just a translation by myself so if incorrect or someone has a better translation, I am sorry)
