While the girl waited patiently for her instructor to arrive, a man approached her.
Who is this? She thought. She scanned him from head to toe.
The man had a long wooden stick in his hand, and his attire was that of a travelling merchant.
The man stared at the girl intensively before confirming. "You must be Palma. Your father is Graham Von Edelweiss, correct?"
"That is correct, sire." She answered.
"And who might you be?"
"Huh?"
"Hmm?"
The man stared at her, confused.
Did I say something wrong? She thought.
"Did your father not tell you?" He asked.
"Pardon? I don't think i understand." She replied with an awkward smile.
The man let out a heavy sigh before explaining. "I'm your new instructor. Your parents are the ones who asked me to instruct you, yet they didn't say a word to you."
He knows my parents? Just who is this man? She thought.
"You can call me Fritts. I'll be instructing you from now on." He declared.
Immediately, the girl stood straight with her hands by her side. "Yes, sire!"
The man sat down on a small old barrel. "Good."
The girl took a glance at the long, thick stick in his hand.
"What's the stick for?" She asked.
"Huh? Oh! Nothing in particular."
"If you hit me, I'll tell my father." She forewarned.
