Kieren- "I found a piece of information that I needed."

    Mr. Thorne- "What did you find bud?"

    Kieren- "The area where Sloans killers came from."

    Mr. Thorne- Oh where."

    Kieren then read out loud the name of the area and then his father became shocked, because he knew that area very well. He then told the boys.

    Mr. Thorne- "Boys I know very well that area, but that area is a bit dangerous and I will have to call for backup  for this investigation."

    Luis- "May you call Officer Adair, he seems perfect to help us alright."

    Mr. Thorne- "Alright, I'll call him and hopefully he says yes."

    Mr. Thorne then pulled out his cellphone and called Officer Adair. At first Officer Adair did not answer and Mr. Thorne was about to hang up, when suddenly Officer Adair finally and asked Mr. Thorne what he wanted. Mr. Thorne then told Officer Adair and then Officer Adair answered him. Mr. Thorne then smiled then thanked Officer Adair and then told the boys.

    Mr.Thorne- "Boys, I've got good news. Officer Adair has agreed to join us and he might call in extra help."

    All three boys became excited, especially Kieren. Kieren then became silent, making his father and friends become worried. Marcus then said.

    Marcus- "Kieren what is wrong?"

    Luis- "Yeah what's up?"

    Kieren- "I'm a bit scared."

    Mr. Thorne- "Don't be. We'll get to the bottom of this mystery and then hopefully Sloans spirit can finally rest in peace."

    Kieren- "Okay dad, then we should go to that neighborhood?"

    Mr. Thorne- "Yes, but first I'm going to contact Sloans family and then we'll go to that neighbor."

    Suddenly, Officer Blake Adair returned fully dressed in uniform ready to help Kieren, his father and friends. Kieren only smiled at him and then told Officer Blake Adair.

    Kieren- "Mr. Adair my father went to call Sloans family before go to that neighborhood."

   Officer Blake Adair- "That's good to know. That way we can get more information about what happened there."

   Kieren- "Yeah."

   Kierens father then returned but had a sad look on his face, which made everyone else worry. Especially Kieren, who then asked.

  Kieren- "Everything okay dad?'

  Mr. Thorne- "Yeah, but Sloans father told me everything that had happened and for sure we have to go to that neighborhood, known as The Dark Hood, and find Sloans killers."

  Officer Blake Adair- "Well shit, The Dark Hood is very dangerous not even us officers go there, because the people that live will only drive all of us."

  Officer Blake Adair then noticed that Kieren's eyes were closed and moving rapidly and then he said.

  Officer Blake Adair- "Shit, Xandros look at Kieren."

  Mr. Thorne- "Oh no, not again."

 Officer Blake Adair- "What do you mean again?"

  Mr. Thorne- "Kieren went with his mother to do an investigation at Wilbur's house, because he thought it was haunted. After a few hours of walking around, Kieren suddenly stopped walking and the same eye movement was happening."

  Officer Blake Adair- "Why does that happen?"

  Mr. Thorne- "The local medium said it was because the spirits are getting into contact with him."

  Officer Blake Adair- "Shit, how long does that last?"

  Mr. Thorne- "Not very long."

  Kieren- "Sloan jsut got into contact with me and she wants me to go The Dark Hood and find her killers. She also told me that she will meet us there."

  Luis and Marcus- "WHOA"

  Officer Blake Adair- "Damn you really can speak to spirits."

  Kieren- "Let's go."

  Kieren then began walking out of the station when his father stopped him and told him."

  Mr. Thorne- "Kieren that neighborhood is very dangerous are you sure you want to go there?"

  Kieren- "I'm sure dad and beside we have you and Mr. Adair."

  Mr. Thorne- "Well, it might take more than the two of us."

  Kieren- "Okay, but we have to go now or else we'll have to wait another to help Sloan."

  Mr. Thorne- "Okay then we'll leave right. Blake you coming with us or in your own car."

  Officer Blake Adair- "My own car."

  At Officer Blake Adair's words, everyone walked out of the station and then got into the vehicles and then drove off to The Dark Hood. Kieren made himself comfortable in his seat and then fell asleep, which made his father and friends worry about him. His father and friends did not wake him and let him sleep throughout the drive.

  After two hours Mr. Thorne stopped his vehicle at the entrance of The Dark Hood and wait for Officer Blake Adair to park his car. He then woke up Kieren and then told him.

  Mr. Thorne- "Okay the three of you we are parked at the entrance of The Dark Hood, but remember it's very dangerous here, so stay close to me and Officer Adair. Kieren if Sloan gets into contact with you again ask her about the exact location of where they killed and why her body ended up at the school."

  Kieren- "Okay dad."

  Officer Blake Adair then walked to them and seemed tense and calm at the same. He then looked at Kieren and saw that he was calm and then said.

   Officer Blake Adair- "Okay the four of you what's the plan from here?"

   Mr. Thorne- "Well, I was thinking that Kieren can ask if Sloans spirit is here with us and then we will walk into the city."

   Kieren- "Okay I'll do it."

   Kieren then closed his eyes and tried calling out to Sloans spirit, but it failed at first. He then concentrated and then felt someone touched him, opened his eyes and saw that she was right in front of him with a smile on her face. She then told him that they could go into the neighborhood and look for her killers. Kieren then smiled at her and then said.

    Kieren- "Okay Sloan is with us and she said that we can go into the neighborhood and look for her killers."

    Mr. Thorne- "Okay. Blake you got everything you need with you?"

    Officer Blake Adair- "Sure do."

    Mr. Thorne- "Okay then let's get ready and then we will go into the neighborhood."

    At his words, Officer Blake Adair walked back to his car and got ready. Mr. Thorne also prepared himself but then they saw the headlights of a vehicle approaching them. Kieren then became nervous, then pulled on his fathers, his father looked down at him and then he shooked his head left and right as a way of saying that something is wrong. His father then nodded his head as a way of saying that he understood. The vehicle then stopped, the driver then turned off the lights and then got off the vehicle and then said.

    Mr. Turnipseed- Well, well, what brings all of you to this part of our very fine city?"

    Mr. Thorne- "We are looking for some persons involved in a murder years ago"

    Mr. Turnipseed- "Yeah your not going to find anyone like that here."

    Kieren- " Liar, I know that there are people like that here."

    Mr. Thorne- "KIEREN, be quiet and let me do my job."

    Kieren- "Sorry dad, but he is giving me bad vibes."

    Mr. Turnipseed- "WHAT THE FUCK. Is your son for real. Listen up boy the only bad vibes around here is you and your little band of wannabe detectives."

    Officer Blake Adair- "Hey. That was very rude of you to say that to a kid."

    Mr. Turnipseed- "Oh my bad. Did I hurt his feelings. Wait are you a cop."

    Officer Blake Adair- "Sure am."

    Mr. Turnipseed- "SHIT, SHIT. I'm out."

    Mr. Turnipseed then quickly ran to his vehicle and then sped off.

    Officer Blake Adair- "SHIT. He is getting away."

    Mr. Thorne- "Easy Blake. We will get the information we need one way or another."

    Officer Blake Adair- "Okay, but before get back into our cars. Kieren what did you find out in those files?"

    Kieren - "I found out that there was three people who was put under suspicion, but the case was closed because Sloans family immediately took her body and moved from here."

    Officer Blake Adair- "Damn Xandros your son could become a detective one day if he wanted to."

    Mr. Thorne- "That's what I've been worried about, but ultimately it is his decision."

    Officer Blake Adair- "Sorry, you are right."

    Kieren- "Dad what else did Sloans family tell when you called them."

    Mr. Thorne- "They told me that they are grateful for reopening the case, but they don't blieve that we can solve it."

    Kieren- "But did you tell about my powers?"

   Mr. Thorne- "I did but they did not believe me. I did try to convince them about making the trip back, but they told me that they would never return."

   Kieren- "Okay. I just hope that Sloan doesn't become sad."

   Suddenly, Kieren felt something touch him, but then realized that it was Sloan. He then turned around and saw her but she looked sad, because she had heard what his father had said then he said.

  Kieren- "Sloan please stop being sad. Maybe I can talk to your family and hopefully they will believe me. Also I could try to convince them to come back."

  Sloan- "Okay thank you Kieren. Please call me when you are in the neighborhood."

  Kiren- "I sure wil."

  At his words, everyone became surprised and then Marcus asked him.

  Marcus- "Did you just talk to Sloan?"

  Kieren- "I did and she is sad that her family does not want to come back, then I told her that I would talk to them and try to convince to come back."

  Mr. Thorne- KIEREN, why would you tell her that. I couldn't do what makes you think that you can."

  Kieren- "Because dad you can't say no to a kid."

  Mr. Thorne- "Okay fine, but who is going to pay for their flight?"

  Kieren- "Can we do it?"

  Mr. Thorne- "Yes but let's do this quickly. I'll call them and pass you my phone so you can talk to them."

  Kieren- "Thanks dad."

  Mr. Thorne nodded in response, took out his cellphone and then called Sloans father. Luckily, Sloans answered, but he did not sound happy and almost got into an argument with Kierens father, but then Kieren grabbed his father's phone from his hand and then began talking to Sloans father. But it seemed it was not going well until       Kieren finally smiled and then said.

 Kieren- "Good news. Sloans family finally agreed to come out and help out with the investigation."

 Mr. Thorne- "My God son, maybe you should become a detective one day."

 Kieren- "Yeah maybe but right we need to somehow buy them tickets and then pick them at the airport."

 Officer Blake Adair- "Already ahead of you. Right when you smiled, I immediately pulled out my phone and looked for cheap air ticke, finally found a good and booked them an night flight. Call them back and let them know that their flight has been taken care of."

  Mr. Thorne called back Sloans father and immediately he told him that they were already at their airport and were just waiting for them to call the airport to let them what was happnening. Mr. Thorne then hung up and called the airport and explained everything. He finally hung up and then told everyone that they should go to their airport immediately. At his words, they all got into their cars and then drove to their airport.

  An hour later, they all arrived at their airport and immediately got off their cars, then very quickly walked into their airport. Suddenly, they noticed two airplanes arrive and realized one of those ariplanes was carrying Sloans family, so they waited for several minutes. Kieren then noticed one of the families walking and immediately told everyone. 

  Sloans family noticed them and then walked up to them, then Sloans father said.

  Valeric- "Hello. You must be Xandros and Kieren Thorne. Thank you to the both of you for doing this, but honestly it was not necessary to do so."

  Kieren- "But Sloan wants to truly rest in peace and the only she will be able to that is if we help her."

  Valeric- "Kieren. Thank you again and I'm still unsure if I believe you."

  Suddenly, he noticed that Kieren had closed his eyes and were moving rapidly. Everyone also noticed and became worried then Kieren finally opened his eyes and then said."

  Kieren- "Sloan just came into contact with me and would like for you to know that she is sad, but happy at the same time that all of you are her. She also would like all of you to know that she still loves you and happy that all of you have made peace with her passing."

  Sloans mother, Velda, then broke into tears and Valeric immediately hugged her followed by their son Silas. Valeric then said.

  Valeric- "Kieren now that you have said that, I believe that you do have a gift. With that being said, we will most definitely help all of you.

   Kieren- "Thank you"

   Mr. Thorne- "Valeric before we go into the neighborhood where your daughter was, it would be best to first to show all of you all the files we have on the case."

   Valeric- "Very well, but where?"

   Mr. Thorne- "We will park our vehicles right outside the neighborhood and then we will for the ones responsible for killing Sloan."

  Velda- "Thank you Detective Thorne. We will be eternaly grateful for all this."

  Mr. Thorne- "You're welcome. Now let's go back to the neighborhood and we'll go over the files."

  Kieren and his friends rode back with Kierens father, while Sloans family rode with Officer Blake Adair. Kieren suddenly felt a spirit behind him and looked back, only surprised to see Sloan was with them and had a smile on her face he then turned back around and did not say a word.

  An hour later they arrived back at the entrance of The Dark Hood, then they all immediately got off the vehicles with Mr. Thorne already having Sloans case files in hand. They all then gathered around Mr. Thornes car and then looked over Sloans case files. Suddenly, another vehicle approached them, making them all look up.
