Seeing Angels

Chapter 11b - Back at the Red Raven

Chapter 11b - Back at the Red Raven

Jun 07, 2026

“T-then, why did you say that you were Nathan?” Timo asked him.

“Because I knew that your ‘Papa Berto’ would come rushing back if he knew that ‘Nathan’ was waiting for him back home,” he said.

“Why don’t we go to the kitchen and get somethin’ to eat first?” I asked, just to lighten up the mood.

“Yeah, take the kids with you,” said Mr. Antonio, his eyes not leaving Dome. “We’ve got a hell of a lot of stuff to talk about, right, ‘Papa Berto’?”

“I don’t think we’ve met?” I asked the big guy who came in with Dome when we entered the kitchen.

He was a bulky seven footer. Probably taller. He had honey blond hair in an army cut and the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen.

“Sgt. Marcus Wagner, UN troops, I was sent here to make sure Special Lieutenant Dome made it home safely,” he replied, holding out a huge hand towards me.

I shook it, noting how my hand disappeared in his.

“UN troops?” I asked with a frown.

“I was working under Gen. De Leon of the Philippine Army as part of an envoy to distribute medical kits around the US,” he said with a grin, showing rows of white teeth.

“Then, what are you doing here?”

“I guess you can say... I found out too much `bout Lt. Dome,” he whispered to me.

“Papa Will...”

I looked at Timo and Rico who still looked upset.

“Don’t worry, they’re just talkin’ things out,” I assured them.

“But... if Mr. Antonio isn’t the real Nathan, then, who is he? And where can the real Nathan be?” asked Timo.

“Actually, I used to work with the real Nathan Del Mirasol,” said Sgt. Wagner. “Del is one of the scientists in the medical envoy I was assigned in.”

“You know him?” the two kids stared up at the huge soldier.

“Yup, in fact, Lt. Dome is currently being court marshalled after harassin’ him, so he’ll be in house arrest for a month.”

“A month?!” the two asked, wide-eyed.

“So, they have already met?” I asked.

“Yup, but the real Nathan don’t want nothin’ to do with him right now. Some kind of lover’s quarrel. If you ask me, it’s enough drama to start a soap opera!”

He rumbled when he laughed.

“Why don’t you sit down and rest for a while,” I told him, pulling out a chair from the dining table, “Something tells me their talk won’t be endin’ too soon.”

“Oh, thanks, um...”

“Willow,” I told him, “Sgt. Willow.”

His eyes suddenly lit up at the mention of my name.

“Woah, Sgt. Willow! I’ve heard of you! Lots of `em boys in the Gender Police still talk `bout you! You’re one of the best in the squad, but then they said you just suddenly disappeared `bout three years ago and...” his story trailed off as he looked at my boys who were busy making sandwiches. “Oh...”

“Yup,” I simply replied. “Would you like some coffee?”

“Y-yes, please!”

“Papa Will, can we bring these sandwiches to Mr. Antonio and Papa Berto?” Timo asked with a big grin on his face.

“Go ahead.”

They rushed out of the room carrying the tray of sandwiches. Something tells me they weren’t just trying to be hospitable.

“How would you like your coffee?”

“Black with two lumps of sugar, please.”

I went to the counter to get him a cup, when realized that all the mugs were still in the den where we had snacks with Mr. Antonio earlier. I took a teacup instead and served it to the mountain sitting by the dining table.

“Hope you don’t mind the tiny cup, Sgt. Wagner,” I said with a smile.

“Oh, I don’t mind. And please, just call me Marc.”

“And you can call me Will.”

I watched as he gingerly took the teacup and saucer I handed him. His hands were so big, it looked as if we were playing with toy tea cups in a kid’s tea party.

I couldn’t help but laugh a little.

“Is there something wrong?” he asked, smiling at me.

“Sorry, it’s just that that cup and saucer looks so small in your hands.”

“Ugh, don’t remind me, even the guys back in camp kept makin’ fun of me for bein’ too big and clumsy,” he mumbled.

“I don’t think you’re clumsy,” I told him as he picked the cup with his index and thumb. “I actually think you’re cute.”

Marc looked at me wide eyed, his face turning red.

“I... I...” he stuttered. He placed the cup down hard on the saucer and broke both of it into pieces!

“Ah!” he gasped as the hot coffee spilled on the table and down his leg. “I’m so sorry!” he started mopping the broken pieces with his bare hands, and I couldn’t help but think how cute he looked, all flustered like a bunny!

Well, a very big bunny.

“It’s fine, I’ll get a rag.”

I took a towel from the sink and dabbed at the table, then decided to dab at his wet lap as well. I could feel his muscles bulging beneath his pants as I did. I looked up at him. Our eyes were level at that position, and I smiled as I saw the embarrassed look in his face.

“S-sorry... I really don’t know my own strength, sometimes...” he mumbled.

“And like I said, it’s okay.”

I looked at the broken cup and saucer and noticed some drops of blood on the table.

“Are you wounded?” I asked him, worried.

“Oh...” he looked at his big hands and noticed a small nip on his right pinky, “I didn’t notice...”

“C’mon, let’s wash it at the faucet.”

I pulled at him, the big stud he is, he obediently stood up and followed me to the sink like a child.

His fingers were as fat as sausages, and as I finished washing him, I stared as his wound and placed it in my mouth, giving it a good suck.

I felt Marc quiver beside me.

I looked up at him and saw the hungry look in his face. I gave his pinky a little lick before letting him go.

“Would you like some sandwiches now?” I asked him with a smile, “You look like you could use a bite.”

That evening, Mr. Antonio left Dome a broken man.

He looked so pitiful that I decided to check on him after sending the kids to bed.

“Dome. Do you mind talking for a while?” I called from outside his room.

I thought he was gonna ignore me, but he opened the door to let me in.

“I heard the spider’s sick?” I asked after an awkward minute of silence.

“Yeah. Lung cancer.”

“So, have they chosen someone else to take his place?”

“Cpt. Monroe from San Francisco.”

“Oh, Lloyd Monroe, huh?”

“You been under him before?”

“Yeah, in both senses... so... you and the real Nathan finally met each other?”

He paused.

“Yeah.”

“Just what made him hate you so much?”

Again, a much longer pause.

“He was a very proud dominant alpha.”

“Oh... the type you hated most, huh?”

“Yeah... so I decided to teach him a lesson and made him fall in love with me...” he continued, “And when he finally accepted me...”

“That’s when you left him?”

Dome fell silent.

“Man, no wonder his uncle Mr. Antonio hated your guts!”

Dome looked miserable.

“But you did it to protect him, didn’t you?” I added, “You had to leave because the Spider made you, and you had to stay here to help Rico. So I guess we’re part of the reason why you’re having such bad luck with your love life.”

I couldn’t help but laugh bitterly as I saw the misery in his face.

“You’re not helping, you know,” he mumbled.

He’s not even pissed at me!

“Sorry. It just feels good to see you so depressed,” I told him. “And that crushed look when Antonio hit you in the face?” I gave another laugh.

He simply took it all in, not even flinching.

I Stood up and came closer. I wanted to hold him, to comfort him, to let him use me until all his frustrations wear off, but I knew it wouldn’t work.

Not this time.

Not anymore.

“I’m not in the mood, you know,” he said, glaring at me.

“Neither am I,” I replied, “It won’t feel good no more, seein’ how beaten you were earlier. I wouldn’t be able to cum after seein’ you like that.”

“`Guess I’m of no use to you now?” he said with a sorry laugh.

“Yeah. And you know what? Those kids have grown a lot these past three years. Timo’s passed tryouts in the soccer team, Rico’s the representative in Mr. Antonio’s science class. They’re both doing great in school.”

“I guess I missed a lot, huh...” he sighed.

“Yeah, they both missed you too, but they won’t mind, as long as they know you’re okay.”

He stared at me.

“It sounds like you’re sending me away.”

“Of course not,” I replied. “If it were up to the kids, they would never let you leave. Besides, you’re still under house arrest for a month, but we all know that there’s somewhere else you’d much rather be.” I tapped him on the back and smiled. “So don’t let him slip away again, Lt. Dome!”
