CONTRACTS, CASH AND CAKES EMERGECIES

CONTRACTS, CASH AND CAKES EMERGECIES

Jun 03, 2026

Inside the beautifully decorated pastry shop, the silence was thick enough to cut with a bread knife. Miya just stood frozen behind the marble counter, her hand tightly pinching the bridge of her nose. Her soul was practically attempting to leave her body. They were supposed to be an elite, undercover international intelligence team tracking a fatal chemical syndicate, and instead, Spain's absolute number one most eligible bachelor was standing in their lobby, blushing like a tomato, squeaking about inspecting their tarts.

Richard Destiano desperately tried to piece his fractured, cold corporate mask back together. He adjusted his flawless light gray cashmere suit jacket and straightened his silk tie, attempting to exert the dominant Alpha aura that usually made international boardrooms tremble. But looking at Felix—whose hair bun was perfectly secured on top of his head, highlighting the soft, pale curve of his neck—Richard's hands violently shook on his leather briefcase.

"Ahem!" Richard forced his voice to drop into a deep, commanding, and heavily performed masculine tone, though his ears were still burning a deep crimson. "Yes. Well. As the Chief Executive Officer of Destiano Enterprises... I require a highly... rigorous culinary experience for my workforce. Corporate employee appreciation is a massive administrative undertaking."

He slammed his gold-plated fountain pen onto the counter, striking a powerful CEO-like posture to look like a dignified Alpha.

"I am officially placing an immediate executive contract," Richard declared, his icy blue eyes locked onto Felix with panicked financial dominance. "I want every single tart, macaroon, eclair, and artisanal cake currently sitting in your display cases. In fact, I want your entire high-class inventory completely cleared out for the next three months. Name your price. I will double it. I will triple it! I will buy this entire street if it pleases you!"

Miya’s jaw completely dropped to the floor. She stared at the multi-billionaire tycoon like he had lost his absolute corporate mind. The twenty matte-black delivery trucks parked outside on the sidewalk were already being swarmed by his security guards, who frantically loaded thousands of luxury cake boxes into the cargo holds.

Felix, however, just blinked his big, swollen rosy-pink eyes. He looked at the massive stacks of cash and the blank corporate check Richard had just slapped onto the counter, and his eyes instantly turned into giant, sparkling dollar signs ($). The blunt, sassy art student evaporated, instantly replaced by a heart-melting, overwhelmingly cute angelic grin.

"Wow... You're going to buy *everything*? For real?" Felix leaned over the marble counter, supporting his chin with his hands as he looked effortlessly handsome and sweet.

Richard’s brain completely short-circuited. His inner Alpha collapsed into a puddle of helpless mush. His heart did a violent, chaotic backflip at the sheer visual perfection of Felix’s smile.

"Y-Yes! Everything!" Richard squeaked out, his blush deepening to an impossible level. "For my... for my hard-working corporate staff!"

"Gosh, you're actually a really generous boyband boss, Mr. CEO," Felix giggled cutely, his hair bun bobbing. "Miya! Start boxing up the gold-leaf tarts! We’re rich!"

Richard frantically cleared his throat, desperately searching his brilliant, corporate mastermind brain for a way to lock down this gorgeous creature before he had to leave. "Ahem. Yes. Well. As the Chief Executive Officer... corporate catering is a highly... unpredictable landscape. In the event of an immediate cake emergency in the future... I will require a direct line of executive communication."

He smoothly slid his ultra-sleek, minimalist gold business card across the counter, his icy eyes wide with desperate hope. "May I... have your personal mobile number? For strictly administrative purposes, of course."

Miya leaned against a stack of empty pastry boxes in the background, whispering to herself, "Administrative purposes... clean-up crew save me now, this man is down so bad it's physically painful..."

Felix, totally oblivious to the romantic advance because he was still happily kissing the multi-million-euro bank draft, laughed cheerfully. "Oh, absolutely! For cake emergencies, I am always available! Here, let me type it into your phone."

Felix took Richard's sleek phone, his slim fingers quickly saving his number. He handed it back with a playful, handsome wink. "There you go, Mr. CEO! Saved and ready!"

Richard looked down at his screen. The contact name read: "🍰 Pretty Baker Boy (Felix) 🍰".

Richard clutched the smartphone directly against his chest, a massive, dazed, and completely love-struck smile breaking across his face. He looked like a smitten high schooler, entirely forgetting his terrifying reputation. "Thank you, Felix. I shall... expect great things from our future business relations. Have an... immaculate morning."

Richard straightens his suit jacket, turning on his heel and marching out of the bakery with a glorious, victorious spring in his step—clutching his phone like a gold medal as he commanded his twenty-truck army to roll out.

By the weekend, the location shifted to the legendary Destiano Estate.

The grand double doors of the white marble fortress swung open, and Emily Destiano bounded into the foyer with a proud grin, tightly holding the arm of her absolute school bestie.

Felix stepped inside, completely clueless about the visual devastation he was about to cause. To look like an ordinary, pampered art student, he was wearing a soft, oversized mint-green cable-knit sweater that hung effortlessly off one shoulder, slim tailored white trousers, and his silky black hair was packed back up into that gorgeous, precise top-bun. His big, rosy eyes looked wide, doll-like, and entirely adorable as he gripped his lyric sheets against his chest.

Mr. and Mrs. Destiano were currently standing in the center of the grand foyer. True to their deceptive family nature, they looked like a terrifyingly strict, unapproachable elite power couple. Mr. Destiano had his arms crossed with a stern, imposing glare, while Mrs. Destiano stood tall like a ruthless matriarch.

Felix didn't show a single ounce of fear. He stepped forward with fluid grace, smiled an angelic smile, and bowed politely, speaking in a smooth, captivating Spanish accent.

"Buenos días, Sr. y Sra. Destiano. Es un absoluto honor ser invitado a su hermosa residencia. Gracias por su hospitalidad," Felix murmured smoothly.

The terrifying, strict masks on the parents' faces disintegrated in a fraction of a second. Mr. Destiano's eyes instantly turned into giant, goofy hearts, and Mrs. Destiano let out an ecstatic squeal, completely enchanted by Felix's visual perfection and polite manners.

"Oh, honey, look at him!" Mrs. Destiano clasped her hands together, whispering lovey-dovey to her husband. "He is absolutely breathtaking! Such a polite, beautiful angel!"

"Emily, sweetheart!" Mr. Destiano nodded frantically, a goofy grin on his face. "We completely understand now! You finally brought home a proper partner! Your mother and I give our full, loving blessing to this relationship! You two look so lovely together!"

"Gross! Mom, Dad, stop it!" Emily cracked up laughing, waving her hands in a panic. "You’re totally confusing things! Felix isn't my romantic interest, he’s just my absolute bestie from school! He’s the genius artist and the main rapper I told you about! He’s the one who's here for the band tryouts!"

Suddenly, heavy footsteps echoed from the grand upper balcony.

Luke Destiano and Dedrick Destiano were walking down the grand staircase together, casually chatting. Richard and Diana were completely away from the mansion for corporate meetings, leaving the two younger brothers alone. Luke was wearing a relaxed designer t-shirt that emphasized his massive 6'2 broad shoulders, while Dedrick was in his athletic training gear.

They both looked down over the golden railing to see who Emily was yelling at. The moment their eyes locked onto the visitor standing in the foyer, both brothers froze dead in their tracks.

The panel zoomed in on their absolute, comically synchronized shock.

Luke’s icy blue eyes popped wide open. His mind instantly short-circuited as he recognized the "scentless void," the legendary tango partner, and the drunk angel who had called him "Mr. Fluffy Ears" and pecked him on the lips before skydiving off his bedroom balcony!

Right next to him, Dedrick's jaw completely dropped to the floor, his heart doing a violent football tackle against his ribs. He recognized the breathtaking "savage beauty" who had run into his chest in the VIP hallway, completely ignored his Alpha aura, and called him a "boyband member"!

Both brothers were completely paralyzed, their inner Alphas screaming in absolute, chaotic obsession. They realized at the exact same moment that their little sister's innocent "school bestie" was the exact mystery crush they had both been desperately hunting down across the entire country!

Felix, entirely scentless and utterly unbothered, tilted his hair bun in pure, cute confusion as he looked up at the two frozen blonde giants on the stairs.

"Hey, Emily..." Felix pouted his rosy lips, whispering comically to her. "Look up there. It’s those two boyband guys from the palace gala again. Why are they staring at me like they just saw a ghost? Is staring a hereditary disease in your family?"

Emily completely ignored them, tightly linking her arm back with Felix’s. "Alright, Felix bestie! Let’s leave these weirdos behind and head straight to the soundproof music studio wing. The band gear is already set up and waiting!"

"Lead the way, Emily!" Felix giggled cutely, his hair bun bobbing as he walked, casually strolling past the stairs without even looking at them. The off-the-shoulder mint sweater exposed a flash of his pale collarbone as he disappeared down the corridor, the soundproof glass doors slamming shut behind them.

The moment the doors closed, Luke and Dedrick instantly snapped out of their paralysis, turning their heads toward each other with fierce, competitive Alpha glares.

"Luke," Dedrick hissed, slamming his hand onto the golden staircase railing, his voice dropping into an aggressive rumble. "Tell me you are not looking at her school bestie the way I think you are looking at him. That is *him*. The angel from the VIP hallway. He’s mine."

"Yours? Don't make me laugh, little brother," Luke let out a cold, dark chuckle, his powerful Alpha aura expanding heavily. "That is the scentless phantom from the ballroom floor. He matched my tempo flawlessly, slept in my private bed, and literally kissed me on the lips before skydiving off my balcony. Step back, Dedrick. You're out of your league."

"He... he *KISSED* YOU?!" Dedrick’s eyes widened in furious, jealous shock. "No way! He called you a boyband too! I’m the star athlete of Spain, Luke, I don’t lose on the field and I’m definitely not losing to a choreographer!"

"We don't need to fight, Dedrick," Luke adjusted his shirt, his expression turning into a wicked, calculating smirk. "Let’s go inspect our little sister’s... musical progress. May the best bachelor win."

"Oh, it is officially on, big bro," Dedrick grinned dangerously. "Let’s see who he chooses to notice first."

Inside the soundproof studio, Felix stood behind the microphone. The track dropped—a fast, aggressive, heavy hip-hop beat laced with traditional Spanish acoustic guitars. The moment he opened his rosy lips, the goofy art student disappeared. He dropped a face-melting, legendary rap verse with lightning-fast speed and absolute, dangerous lyricism, his smooth voice carrying a chilling edge.

Up by the door, Luke and Dedrick’s inner Alphas completely melted. They were so whipped their eyes were practically turning into hearts. This scentless creature wasn't just gorgeous; he was a multi-talented god.

The tryout, however, quickly turned into an absolute catastrophe. Desperate to participate and stay in the room, Luke aggressively grabbed a tambourine, executing sharp, dramatic dance jumps that were completely off-beat. Right next to him, Dedrick violently shook a pair of backup maracas like a crazed sports fan, accidentally hitting a nearby cymbal with a loud, piercing *CLANG*. They were making so much chaotic noise that the student drummer completely dropped his sticks.

"STOP! STOP IT!" Emily screamed comically, her face turning bright red as she pulled her hair. "You are literally ruining the entire song! Dedrick, you look like a broken maraca robot! Luke, you're going to break that tambourine! Both of you are officially **BANNED FROM THE STUDIO!** Get out!"

Emily grabbed her heavy drumsticks and aggressively drove her two giant older brothers out the door, slamming the glass shut.

Felix slipped his headphones off, his hair bun bobbing as he pouted with deadpan amusement. "Wow, Emily. Your local boyband background dancers really lack a basic sense of rhythm. But ugh, my phone is vibrating."

Felix walked out into the quiet corridor, pulling out his high-tech smartphone. It was an encrypted satellite update from Miya. He slipped a wireless earbud into his ear, his rosy eyes turning icy, sharp, and deadly as Velvet Trigger took over.

"Velvet here," Felix whispered coldly. "Did you crack the data tablet?"

"We have a massive problem, Felix," Miya’s voice cracked through, sounding incredibly serious over the encryption line. "The 'Elysium-9' drug ring is funded by a shadowy syndicate operating directly inside the VIP luxury sectors of Madrid's upcoming Arts and Music Festival. They are planning a massive distribution batch to permanently paralyze the subgender population's scent glands."

"The university festival? The exact one Emily's band is performing at?" Felix’s jaw clenched. "Perfect. I was just offered the main exhibition spot for the arts department, and Emily made me her main rapper. I’ll have total backstage access. Do not let the Destianos distract us."

"Good. But be careful," Miya warned. "Richard Destiano ordered our entire inventory this morning just to get close to us, and the rest of the siblings are crawling all over that campus. Out."

Felix tapped his earbud, cutting the transmission just as he walked into the grand foyer—and ran directly into a new storm.

Diana Destiano stepped into the foyer, returning early from her high-fashion corporate launch. Striking and majestic, her long platinum-blonde hair caught the hallway lighting flawlessly. She stopped dead in her tracks, her sharp, unreadable Alpha eyes going completely wide as she locked onto Felix. In his mint-green sweater and that stunning top-bun exposing his flawless pale neck, Felix looked like an ethereal, drop-dead gorgeous doll.

Diana’s heart skipped a violent, unexpected beat. Her hyper-focused fashion-mogul brain immediately recognized the ultimate visual masterpiece.
