DRESSED TO KILL

Corazón de Fuego

Corazón de Fuego

Jun 04, 2026

The main avenue of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid was completely unrecognizable. It had been transformed into a sprawling, high-octane sea of luxury exhibitions, towering white canvas tents, and pulsing bass lines. Banners bearing the glowing golden crest of Destiano Enterprises fluttered heavily in the warm Madrid breeze, reminding every single guest that Richard’s multi-billion-euro empire was running the entire show. High-society art critics, international investors, and elite students swarmed the campus gates.

A sleek, customized silver town car glided smoothly into the restricted VIP loading zone behind the main stage. The rear door clicked open, and Velvet Trigger—Felix—stepped out onto the asphalt.

The surrounding festival staff and security guards instantly suffered a collective brain freeze. Thanks to Diana's aggressive wardrobe sponsorship, Felix looked jaw-droppingly beautiful, handsome, and cute all at once. He wore a loose, high-fashion asymmetrical cream silk shirt that cascaded flawlessly over his lean, muscular frame, paired with sharp charcoal trousers. His silky, shoulder-length black hair was styled in a stunning half-up, half-down look today, with a few long, elegant strands framing his chiseled jawline and trailing down his exposed, pale collarbone. His big, swollen rosy-pink eyes scanned the perimeter with an innocent, doll-like gaze that masterfully hid his hyper-lethal assassin instincts.

The front door opened, and Miya stepped out from the driver’s seat. The entire VIP zone went dead silent. To blend into the high-society festival crowd and impress Diana, she had completely ditched her usual masculine blazers. Today, she was wearing a breathtaking, skin-tight crimson designer dress that hugged her athletic, powerful Alpha frame flawlessly, showing off her long legs and radiating an overwhelming, dangerous beauty. She subtly tapped her hidden wireless earpiece, checking the encrypted satellite link.

"Velvet. Stay sharp," Miya hissed through her teeth, flashing a perfectly graceful, fake smile at a passing university dean. "My tracking sensors are already picking up high traces of synthetic chemical compounds near the backstage VIP lounge. The 'Elysium-9' syndicate is definitely in position."

"Copy that, bestie," Felix pouted his rosy lips, checking his flesh-colored scent patch behind his ear vanity mirror. "My scent blockers are one hundred percent operational. I’m a total ghost. But ugh, this silk shirt is so soft, I really hope I don't get any target's blood on it today. Diana would kill me."

Miya's face suddenly burned with a bright, violent crimson blush as she spotted a massive Destiano Fashion Group production truck parking near the backstage entrance.

"Speaking of masterpieces..." Miya’s voice trembled slightly, her Alpha coolness completely melting as she clutched her tablet. "Diana’s design crew is already here. Oh my god, Felix, do I look okay? Is my dress straight? If she looks at me with those watery, sympathetic eyes again today, I'm going to pass out right on the pavement."

Felix stared at her with a deadpan expression, blowing a bubblegum bubble. "Wow. You are completely whipped, Jade. Go handle the perimeter tracking while I head to the Fine Arts gallery to check my display spot. Let's get this bread."

***

The grand gallery was flooded with natural light, showcasing towering sculptures and intricate canvases. Felix walked into the exhibition hall, his half-up, half-down hair swaying gently against his cream silk shirt as he held his digital lookbook files.

Suddenly, as he approached his designated easel, he spotted two massive blonde figures entirely blocking the aisle: Richard and Dedrick.

Dedrick immediately dropped his football, sprinting forward with a brilliant golden-boy smile. "Felix! Hey! See, I told you I'd make it! I completely ditched the Real Madrid scouts early just to come see your drawing. Seriously, my team needs a new logo badly, and I won't let anyone else but you design it. Name your price!"

Before Felix could even process the personal branding crisis, Richard smoothly stepped in front of Dedrick, shoving his little brother back with a cold Alpha glare. Richard's ears were burning bright crimson, but he tried to look like a smooth, commanding billionaire as he pulled out his gold pen.

"Step aside, Dedrick. An elite artist doesn't waste his precision on sports merchandise," Richard said, his voice deep and smooth as he locked eyes with Felix. "Felix... as the primary sponsor of this festival, I have just reviewed your art portfolio. It is an absolute masterpiece. In fact, Destiano Enterprises is officially offering to buy your entire gallery exhibition collection right now for ten times its value. I’ve already written the check."

Felix just stood there, holding his sketchbooks, blinking his big pink eyes in total, deadpan amusement.

"Wow. The boyband leader and the sports giant," Felix pouted his rosy lips, looking at them like they were completely crazy. "Are you two permanently stalking me? Look, Mr. CEO, I love your money, but my art isn't for sale yet. And you, football giant—I don't design logos for stick-figure athletes. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go backstage. Emily is waiting for her main rapper, and unlike you guys, I actually have a job to do."

He gave them a sharp little salute, turned on his heel, and glided right past them, leaving the cold tycoon and the star athlete completely frozen and violently jealous of each other in the middle of the gallery.

***

Felix hurried away from the gallery, turning a sharp corner toward the backstage dressing rooms—only to freeze in his tracks. Standing in the middle of the corridor, completely blocking his path to the stage, were Luke and Dedrick, who had taken a shortcut to cut him off.

Dedrick stepped forward first, his broad chest puffing out as he cornered Felix against the wall. "Hey, wait! You can't just walk away like that, pretty boy. I'm a star athlete in this country, and nobody rolls their eyes at me. What do I have to do to get your attention, huh?"

Before Felix could drop a brutal comeback, Luke smoothly stepped into Felix’s personal space, his 6'2 muscular frame towering over him. Luke's icy blue eyes sparked with that predatory Alpha dominance from the ballroom floor. He leaned down, his deep voice smooth as velvet as he placed a firm hand on the wall right beside Felix’s head, trapping him completely.

"You’re a slippery one, sweetheart," Luke smirked teasingly, his gaze locking onto Felix’s rosy lips. "Ziplining out of my bedroom window before breakfast? Challenging me on my own dance floor? You've got fire. But you're in my territory now. Tell me your name, or I won't let you pass to the stage."

Felix’s rosy-pink eyes narrowed into a deadly, sharp assassin glare. His fingers slid toward the hidden silver wire in his pocket, milliseconds away from completely fracturing Luke's wrist.

*CLACK. CLACK. CLACK.*

The violent, commanding echo of high-heeled designer boots rattled the corridor walls. Miya marched straight into the center of the huddle, her stunning crimson dress swirling as she violently shoved Luke's arm off the wall and stepped directly between the two giant Alphas and Felix.

"Hey! Back off! Hands off my little brother right now, you oversized blonde predators!" Miya yelled comically, slamming her clipboard loudly against Dedrick's broad chest.

"What...?!" Luke blinked in utter shock, stepping back as his Alpha aura was completely disrupted. "Who are you?"

"I am his older sister, and I am not blind!" Miya placed her hands on her hips, her voice booming through the corridor so loudly that several passing festival staffers stopped to watch. "I see exactly what you two are doing! You two high-society Alphas think you can just corner a beautiful, delicate art student in a dark hallway and flex your little muscles? I bet you think he's an Omega, don't you?!"

"W-Wait, no!" Dedrick’s face turned a violent, bright crimson as he stammered frantically, his golden-boy image instantly shattering. "That’s not—we were just—"

"Save it! I know your type!" Miya pointed a sharp finger right at Luke's face, lecturing them with utter, scandalous audacity. "You just want to make sure the pretty ones end up in your bed right?! You see a gorgeous boy with soft hair and wide pink eyes, and your caveman instincts just tell you to trap him against a wall! Well, newsflash, boyband giants! My brother is a pure, innocent, respectable university student, not a high-society mating prize for you to play with!"

The absolute, unhinged scene made both Luke and Dedrick completely lose their minds. The two globally famous, powerful 6'2 Destiano bachelors turned a synchronized, burning shade of bright red from their necks to the tips of their ears. Their high-society pride was utterly shattered as passing students started whispering and pointing at them.

"Ma'am! Please, lower your voice!" Luke's voice cracked in a complete, flustered panic, his smooth demeanor totally broken as he waved his hands. "This is a complete misunderstanding! We are highly respected professionals! I am an Olympic champion—"

"I don't care if you're the king of Spain!" Miya glared at them fiercely, crossing her arms. "If I see either of your blonde heads within five feet of my brother again today, I am calling campus security and filing a harassment lawsuit that will ruin your family's stock portfolio by tomorrow morning! Now, get out of our sight before I get violent!"

Dedrick and Luke looked at each other in total, humiliated defeat. Their faces were burning so hot they looked like they might combust. Clutching their ruined pride, the two giant Alphas awkwardly spun on their heels and sprinted down the hallway to escape her wrath, completely flustered and defeated.

Miya watched them vanish, her fierce older sister expression instantly melting into a smug, victorous assassin smirk. She turned to felix, adjusting a stunning crimson dress. "See?Total behavioural neutralization wthout firing single bullet. You're welcome, velvet"
"Miya... you are a literal psycopath, , they are going to need therapy for the next ten years" Felix stared at her in a complete deadpan, and horified amusement as he chewed his bubblegum. "Now come on, lets go backstage before your new girlfriend Diana sees you screaming in a red dress"
