Theo and Charlie are both on their hospital beds, looking up. Their lunch is on the table, sad macaroni with beef and lettuce. They look down, gasping for air. Theo grabs the bowl and sees a letter on the side of the bowl, he touches it and looks at it. It reads, ‘’Sorry if your first day turned out, like this. If there is any problem, just press this button behind you. Luv, Chloe.’’

Theo is confused, ‘’Problem?’’

‘’It’s behind you.’’ Charlie says, sighing. Theo turns around, seeing the golden button, ‘’Thanks, Charles.’’

‘’It’s not my fault you’re an idiot.’’ Charlie says, grabbing his bowl. He clutches the fork and starts eating, ‘’Did you know Chloe cooked this?’’

Theo is stunned, ‘’Wow, that’s amazing. She must be a great cook!’’ Chloe shouts at him, ‘’No, she is the most terrible cook in existence! This food tastes like ass!’’

Charlie throws the bowl at the wall, crossing his arms, ‘’At least the lunch lady cooks better.’’

Theo is shocked, ‘’Hey, you can’t waste food, like that.’’ Charlie turns to him, ‘’Taste it yourself. You see what a terrible cook she is. She didn’t even have any plan when cooking, I bet she was like— ‘’ he mimics her face and voice, ‘’Oh, you know what? I’m gonna cook this macaroni from 1998 and then add soup and lettuce from the flea market and then boil it in this not so subtle make-out machine and turn it into— ‘’ He pants heavily and turns around, ‘’I’ve had enough.’’

Theo blinks, ‘’Maybe you’re irritated? I know, when you have injuries it can make you feel a bit frustrated. I wonder why I’m not, though.’’ He grabs a fork and eats the macaroni, smiling, ‘’This food is good.’’ He starts eating faster, ‘’You know I eat fast for some reason, maybe, I think? But for some reason, even when I eat a lot, I don’t get fat.’’

Charlie is already snoring loudly. Theo turns to him, continuing to eat. He then grabs the bowl and slurps all the soup and lettuce in his mouth, sighing in satisfaction. He puts the bowl on the table and fork, dusting his hands. And then suddenly his body jolts up, ‘’I hear footsteps.’’

His hearing gets deeper, ‘’Are they walking faster than humans? I can’t make up a visualization.’’

And then the door breaks down, hitting the marble floor. Theo is shocked, jaw agape, ‘’What the….’’

Multiple strings surround the room, and they are glowing with red purple energy. Stronger than before, Theo is panting heavily, he turns around.

‘’Ah it’s you!’’ Shade shouts, proud. ‘’Let’s resume our little conversation, shall we?

‘’You’re part of the Root Burners, right? Tell me, where is Alex.’’ Theo says, clutching his injured fists.

 Shade laughs, ‘’What a rich question. The answer is…’’

‘’You sick freak.’’ Charlie says in anger, just from waking up. ‘’You tried to recruit me in one of your lame adventures, and now you’re disturbing my sleep?! Why don’t you GO EAT SHIT?!’’

Charlie releases 4 large fireballs from his right arm. Roy then grabs all of them and breaks them, they drop like orange juice. Charlie touches his burning right arm, ‘’Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Who is this extra now?!’’

‘’You are the extra, because you are useless, anyway.’’ Roy dusts his hand.

‘’Are you looking for a fight, muscle-man?’’ Charlie’s jaw clenches. Roy scans him, ‘’You can’t fight in your bruised up, bloodied, bandaged, condition. I will have the advantage.’’

Charlie growls in anger as his arms turn fiery, and he aims at Roy, forming a large fireball, ‘’I’m never injur— ‘’

A string pulls out of his chest, making Charlie choke and cough, he is about to shoot the fireball but passes out.

‘’Charlie!’’ Theo shouts, horrified.

‘’Now that the annoying fire-guy is gone. Why don’t we talk?’’ Shade smirks.

Theo glares at Shade, angry. His eyes flashing blue, ‘’You will pay for what you’ve done.’’ He says darkly.

‘’You can’t press the golden button, we hid it.’’ Roy says, laughing.

However, a siren blares in the room and it is revealed Theo has pressed the golden button, eyes focused on Shade, angry.

‘’How did you do that, we hid it!’’ Shade shouts.

‘’Oh, it was easy. I used my sense of sight.’’ Theo answers coldly. He then blasts towards them in full speed, blue energy crackling around his body, ‘’Alright, I’m badly injured. So, I will use a part of my body that wasn’t injured, which is my stomach to blast at full speed towards them.’’ Theo thinks to himself.

‘’Can’t I catch a break?!’’ Theo shouts as he flips and prepares to headbutt them, however Shade releases multiple strings which smash Theo towards the wall, but lucky, Theo uses his legs to hit, panting heavily, ‘’That was close.’’

‘’I told you Shade; we should have spied on them like sir said!’’ Roy shouts to Shade. ‘’Team Aureole wasn’t here and these two were badly injured, I figured it would be best if— ‘’

‘’I should have taken the lead. Now since Team Aureole is dangerously strong, I have a plan. And you have to follow my orders, got it Shade?!’’

Shade nods, ‘’Alright then.’’

Meanwhile with Theo, the action he did starts to affect him, making his body ache. He drops on the bed, weaker than before. ‘’I didn’t get hurt, but man. I worked up my body so hard.’’

His body starts aching and growling due to the energy, ‘’I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have, but. I need answers.’’

Theo looks and shouts at them, ‘’Tell me, what is Alex planning?!’’

‘’It’s none of your business, newbie. We just need answers from you. Tell us, what is your name!?’’ Roy shouts.

‘’What is he planning to do with my name? Hunt me down?!’’ Theo shouts, trying to get up but he finds a string on his hair, it then gets pulled out and Theo screams.

‘’Whatever. We already have the information we need.’’ Shade says pulling the hair towards him.

‘’Great, let’s go.’’ Roy pats Shade’s back and they both run, Theo is on the bed weak, his vision blurry, ‘’Why is my day like this?’’ He says to himself weakly.

‘’That’s how it was for everyone’’

Theo turns around, shocked. He sees James holding both Ray and Shade, ‘’So don’t beat yourself up. First days at Aureole are always bad, you just have to accept it!’’

‘’Great. Now the leader is here. We are screwed.’’ Shade says in disappointment, ‘’Don’t worry about it, Shade.’’ Roy reassures him.

BAM – Thunder claps are heard and thunder strikes the both of them, making them scream in agony.

Chloe is already in the room, her eyes yellow, ‘’Don’t you ever disturb those patients!’’

Thunder rumbles and strikes the both of them. Theo is shocked, ‘’Chloe?’’ Theo’s body shuts down and he fades to unconsciousness.

A shadow is in the wall and tries grabbing Theo’s remaining hair, however Shade refuses, pulling it back, ‘’Go away, shadow woman!’’

The shadow strangles Shade, making him choke, ‘’Bring me back the hair.’’ Vesper says in a deep voice. Roy is about to shout but gets cut off when Sage smashes his head on the ground, ‘’Sage has arrived, yo!’’

Sage turns into metal, ‘’I’m the metal god!’’ He then starts punching Roy repeatedly, ‘’So we have the same strength, right?!’’ Roy shouts as he blocks the metal with his strong arms.

‘’No one’s in the same league as me!’’ Sage shouts as he turns his body into metal and continues punching, harder and stronger than before, ‘’ I’ve always made Momma proud, and I’m gonna do it again!’’

Roy still blocks, ‘’This is nothing, metal man.’’ He manages to deliver a devastating punch to Sage’s stomach, however it does nothing, ‘’No, I am stronger!’’

‘’I’ve had enough of playing these games! Sage, you still got the hair?!’’ Roy asks, still blocking.

Shade nods weakly, as the shadow keeps pulling the hair away.

‘’Alright, Alex. Get us out of here!’’ Roy shouts, sending sound waves. James, Chloe, Sage and Vesper all turn around in horror, ‘’Oh, no, not him.’’

The ground starts rumbling and cracking, the light bulb breaks. And the area fades to darkness as demonic red eyes appear in front of everyone, the feeling sending them into panic.

‘’Well done.’’ Alex’s eyes demonic voice echoes, ‘’Now let’s get rid of these rotten pests. People who defend a terrible school.’’

Just Alex’s presence makes Team Aureole tremble with fear, freezing them. Theo and Charlie both wake up, their vision groggy, Charlie freezes at the sight of those red demonic eyes. Theo’s jaw is agape, sweating heavily, ‘’Don’t tell me…. Is that….?’’

‘’Alexander Kim.’’ James says in terror, speechless.

A red beam connects together, ‘’Rotten people. Brainwashed children. Why can’t you see how SPOILED THIS SCHOOL IS?!

The red beam shoots, exploding the whole room, the beds, the walls, the whole room is destroyed as shockwaves also ripple throughout. Steam rises and Roy and Shade both fade away, with Shade holding some of Theo’s hair.

The darkness disappears. The whole room Is destroyed. However luckily Vesper protected everyone with her large black forcefield. She is panting heavily. They are all in shock from the image.

‘’We failed to get him when he had the chance.’’ Vesper says, horrified. James is trembling, ‘’I’m a failure…we are a failure…This group is……’’

Sage is frozen, ‘’I can’t believe my metal failed against him.’’ Chloe trembles, ‘’I can’t believe we let something like this happen.’’

Charlie is heavily angry, clutching the blankets in anger, ‘’That pretentious d-bag. This is total B.S. How could we fail a mission like this?!’’

‘’I don’t know, Charlie. But calm down for a sec- ‘’ Sage warns him, ‘’Calm down?! Calm down?! You let our top priority run away like that?! What kind of group is this?!’’

‘’I know, right. I feel stupid for admitting Charlie is right.’’ Vesper sighs. ‘’Same.’’ Chloe nods, her voice loaded with fear. Meanwhile James is having a panic attack, panting heavily, ‘’Those…eyes.’’ He keeps remembering Alex’s demonic eyes, ‘’Those eyes…’’

‘’Those eyes you didn’t catch.’’ Charlie scoffs, ‘’Hey, don’t blame him. We all failed this mission.’’ Chloe shouts at him, ‘’Your thunder didn’t do anything miss bubbly!’’

‘’Hey, stop arguing.’’ Sage touches them, ‘’Says the guy who failed to defeat a villain despite having the same strength’’ Vesper says like a fact.

‘’Hey, you didn’t even get Theo’s hair!’’ Sage shouts, ‘’At least I was close!’’ Vesper shouts.

‘’We’re all weaklings!’’ Charlie shouts. ‘’You are the weakling!’’ Chloe shouts, and then a full argument begins while James is panting heavily, ‘’Those eyes.’’

‘’Stop!’’ Theo shouts, his voice weak. They all turn to him, confused.

‘’Stop arguing. Please, stop turning on each other and blaming yourselves. Just stop it.’’ Theo says, turning his head slowly, ‘’We are human, it was out of our control. We can’t expect to win every challenge, sometimes we lose. And it’s not a bad thing.’’ Theo coughs, ‘’Why don’t we learn from what happened and put It in practice. Why don’t we accept our flaws and work harder next time?’’

They all share looks and face the ground, thinking. Theo touches a panicking James, ‘’And James. It’s okay to be scared.’’

James turns to him, ‘’I’m not scared it’s just-it’s just…I don’t know.’’

‘’He’s right.’’ Chloe says softly, ‘’All this time we have been acting like we’re unstoppable and perfect, and then a day comes where those words get exploded in our face. Just because we’re Team Aureole, just because we are the winning team, doesn’t mean we will win at everything.’’

Charlie turns to her and looks down, ‘’Yeah, you’re right.’’ Vesper nods, silent. ‘’Yeah.’’

Sage crosses his arms, sniffing, ‘’So…what do we do?’’

James looks at everyone, ‘’Guys…. I know this will hurt but…’’ He hesitates. ‘’But I’m actually Alexander’s brother.’’

Everyone turns to him in shock.

‘’What?!’’ Chloe says in disbelief.
