Ancient Kingdom [Feng Rui & Lu Yi]

A young prince [Feng Rui]  falls in love with his knight.

The knight [Lu Yi] loves him too.

But when war ends, the prince is arranged to marry a princess to secure peace between kingdoms.

“I don’t want to marry a princess!I don’t want to marry someone I don’t even know. I truly despise this! Why do they always have to decide about my life!” the prince yelled, thrown the tea cups then sat on his bed. Mad, and at the same time worried and sorrowful. The knight heard the commotion, he immediately came over to calm him down.

“Your highness, calm down” the knight stated as he sat down too, put down his sword and held the Prince in his arms. The warmth of their bodies together, the comfort he’s giving to his highness, it felt like something so precious, like forever.

“Lu Yi, I don’t want to marry that Princess they’re talking about.” the Prince stated.

“Your highness you have the rights to decide if you’re going to marry or not. But remember that it’s your duty to do so. The little Prince is only half your age and you’re the one suitable to be married off. Please come down your highness.” Lu Yi stated, he stared at the prince softly as he hold his hands. They could feel each others feelings deeply engraved within their hearts.

Neither confesses about those feelings. They just left it as it is.

Years later, they stand beside each other during the wedding ceremony.

One as groom.

One as guard.

“Although I couldn’t tell you how much I Loved You, and how much it hurts me to see you like that, I’m still happy that I’m still be able to stay by your side. You are still my one and only Star ”

The missed chance of the Prince and the Knight was their Responsibility.
