Present Day [Kiefer & Dane]

“No.…no please, don’t push me away, let’s talk, Dane please!” Kiefer begged, held him tight. The rain starts pouring, both are crying, one is mad. “Get out of here!I don’t want to see you! I hate you!” Dane yelled, tears falling in his eyes, pushing away Kiefer. He pushed him out the gate, closed it and got back to the house. Kiefer begged, he wanted to talk, to explain. He got inside the car, he yelled and cried. He then drove off real fast, didn’t see the car coming from the other side, it crashed into his car. An accident happened. He was taken to the hospital, safe but still laying in bed, unconscious. Dane received the news and immediately goes to the hospital. He can’t stop blaming himself of what had happened.

A few days had passed, Kiefer wakes up. After the accident, Kiefer forgets the last five years of his life, and that includes Dane, the boy he loved.

Dane stands there by the door, looking at him as Kiefer looks at him like someone he doesn’t even know. Danes’ heart aches, it hurts him, but he still thinks that in that way, it would be better.

“I think it’s better this way. But, I still love you.”

One remembers everything.

One remembers nothing.
