“I was born only to suffer.” Haha… “Kang Jun! How many times do I have to call you?!” “You got a client! Come here fast!” “Coming…” “I’m sorry.” “You can’t make customers wait, right? Go to the room. We already cleaned it.” See? I can’t even have time to think. The moment I hear someone calling my name and saying— “You got a client”— my entire body starts shaking. Sometimes my hands tremble so badly that I can’t even hold the doorknob properly. I always get male clients. They say I look like a girl. Pretty. Soft. Delicate. Every time I hear those words… I feel disgusted with myself. I hate it. No… Maybe I hate myself even more. Ah… Let’s talk later. Right now, I have to go sell my body. Fuck… Why is it always some fucking old geezer? I always get male clients. Most of them are married. Office workers. Businessmen. Sometimes, while looking at them, I suddenly wonder— Do their wives know where they come at night? Do their children know what kind of person their father really is? I don’t know… Maybe they don’t. Sad, right? Just like my life. Soon— the door slowly opened. An hour later, Kang Jun stepped out of the room. His shirt was messy. Dark bruises were visible across his neck and arms. He could barely walk properly. His legs trembled slightly with every step he took. Without saying anything, he grabbed a bottle of cold water nearby and drank quietly. Then he walked outside. The cold night air brushed softly against his face. Neon lights flickered across the empty street while distant laughter echoed somewhere far away. Jun slowly lifted his eyes toward the dark sky. His expression looked empty. Tired. Broken. A few tears rolled down his cheeks. But he quickly wiped them away before anyone noticed. Even if someone noticed… They wouldn’t care anyway. Then, quietly, he started walking toward the nearby medical store. He needed painkillers again. And new bandages too. Right beside the medical store was a small convenience store. Outside the store, he noticed someone eating ramen alone. The warm steam rising from the bowl made his stomach ache with hunger. Jun stared at it silently for a moment before walking inside. A few minutes later, he came back out carrying a cup of ramen and two boiled eggs. He sat down at one of the empty chairs outside the store. The night felt strangely quiet. Only the sound of passing cars and the rustling wind could be heard. As Jun slowly opened the ramen lid, he noticed the guy nearby staring at him. Kang Jun frowned slightly and muttered under his breath, “Fucking perverts… I can’t even eat peacefully.” “I wish someone would kill all the perverts in this world.” The man quietly listened to every word. For a few seconds, silence filled the air. Then the stranger calmly spoke— “Do you want me to kill them for you?”
