After dinner, Victor brought Malik back to the library.
“You wanted to know about the God of Creation, right?” Victor says, bringing a book with a green cover down from the bookshelf.
“Yes, I'm very curious,” Malik exclaims, in an excited tone of voice.
“Alright then, I shall begin.” As Victor announces this, he sits down on a chair and opens up the green book. Malik takes a seat in front of Victor.
“The God of Creation came down from heaven and created this world, as well as the four moons. He made five continents and four lesser Gods. Do you understand so far?”
“I’ve got it so far father, but I'm curious about the four lesser gods?”
“Each one of the Gods helps humanity in their own way. The Goddess of Love made all the humans' lifespans 500 years long, but never more than that.
The God of Monsters created the towers, ruins, labyrinths, and dungeons, and of course, the monsters. So humanity can have all the riches of his creations.
The God of Architect created the capital of the world, the great pillars, and the teleportation hubs in each country.
Last but not least, the Goddess of Law created Three Taboos that should never be broken, and if you do, your fingertips will turn black, your eyes will too, and your pupils will begin to swirl. Also, she created only one rule—that there can only be 12 countries.”
“Father, I have so many questions.”
“And I am happy to answer all of them for you, but I may not know everything.”
“That's fine, father, mother mentioned before that there are four races. What are they?” Malik says, recounting his earlier talk with his mother.
“What she said is semi correct, if you want to be more accurate, there are 1 main race and the other four. The main race is humanity, the other races have abilities and characteristics about them that are different from humanity. First, you have the elves; the only difference is that they have pointed ears and have high mana capabilities. The second race is the fairies; they can change their size at will and have bug-like wings. The third race is the iris race. They can change their eye color at will, with the max number of eye colors they can have being 5, same with the hue race; they can change their hair color, with their max number being 5 as well. But all four of these races are rare to find or even see,” as Victor explains this, he seems to get more joyful as the more he talks, it seems as if he really likes teaching.
“Got any questions?” Victor askes, waiting for the questions from his curious son to start coming in.
Just listening to Victor explaining this, Malik's dark jade eyes sparkle with curiosity, and thinking of questions makes his brain race faster than it ever had before.
“You said something early about mana, what mana?” This is a new word Malik has never heard before, and due to the language barrier, he has no clue what some of the words his father was saying, but he can grasp the basics.
“Mana is what every human and the other races have. I will explain this question to you with the other two kids when you turn five years old.” The other two kids he is referring to are his cousins; they aren’t cousins by blood, but by a bond his parents share with four of their friends.
“Okay father, can you tell me more about the 12 countries and this world?” Malik asks while playing with his white hair.
“Yes, of course, This world was created a very long time ago, we don't know how long ago. The God of Creation made the first ever human, and then the the 4 lesser gods. First was the Goddess of Love, she is the most influential god. Then he made the God of Architect, the most creative god. Later on came the God of Monsters, the most powerful god. Last was the goddess of Law, the most caring God.
After that, he made humanity and the four races they were equally in number to, before humanity killed the rest almost to extinction. After that, the lesser Gods were unhappy, and the Goddess of Law made them stop fighting, but by the time she did so it was already too late; most of the other races were dead. Later on, all the gods made a contribution to humanity.
The Goddess of Love wanted each human to live past 50, so she made them live to 500 years old. The God of Architect made the capital of the world, as well as its 5 wonders The God of Monsters made monsters and the areas they lived in, and treasures deep inside. Making sure no monsters left those areas. The Goddess of Law made humanity follow her rules and if you disobeyed, your eyes and fingertips would turn black and swirl.”
As Victor explains in detail, he pauses and asks Malik a question.
“Out of the four lesser Gods, which one is your favorite so far?”
“The goddess of Law, she stopped the fighting, although she stopped it late.”
“She is the God I follow, your mother follows the goddess of love.”
“Can you explain in more detail father?” Malik asked curiously, his jade eyes sparkling in the process.
“Of course,” his father says with a smile on his face, one of the only times Malik has seen his father smile.
“Each one of the Gods has a religion that humanity follows, and you can pick any God you choose, or not, it’s up to you. The most popular god is the Goddess of Love, your mother is a devout follower of her. I’m kinda a follower of Goddess of Law, but to me, all the gods are equal, I just have a personal preference." As Victor explains this he opens up the book that was in his hand.
“Now son, it is time, I will teach you about each country and what they are known for.” Reading the book in his hand he then began.
“The country we currently live in is called Heilen. It is the capital of the Goddess of Love church. The terrain is flat grass lands with dense forest to the west where the fairies live. We live northeast where the plains are.”
He then explains each country of the eleven other countries, and the one thing each one is known for. He keeps each explanation brief to make it it easy to understand for his son.
“Have any questions?” Says Victor after explaining.
“No, I am satisfied, I learned a lot today.” Malik says after listening to his father list out all 12 countries and what each one does.
“There is one last thing I want to tell you; something that the God of Creation also made.” Victor says now with a serious expression.
Malik nods, waiting for an answer of what his father is going to say.
“They are called elementals; there are currently nine.” Victor says with an even more serious expression.
“I won't tell you what elementals are till your five years of age.” Victor says in the most serious tone of voice Malik had ever heard coming out from his mouth.
All Malik could say was, “Yes, father.”
“Good. Now I think it's time for you to go to bed,” he says in a light tone of voice, then closes the book in his hands.

The next morning, Malik is helping Elizabeth with breakfast. He hears a knock at the door, and he can already guess who it may be. The place he lives in is a micro forest; and in this micro forest there are only three houses. The only city nearby is located 30 minutes away by foot. Malik asked his father about their surroundings before, so he knows what he can expect to arrive at the door.
“You don't need to knock, come on in.” Elizabeth says, while grabbing plates to set up the table in a way that it can fit 9 people.
“I can handle the rest Malik. Go greet your aunts and uncles.” Victor says while helping Elizabeth with the cooking.
“Yes, father.” Malik says getting off of a stool and heading towards the now open door.
“Where is my favorite white hair nephew at?” Shouts a tall man with long golden hair, golden beard, and similarly-colored piercing eyes.
“I’m here uncle Lars,” Malik says before looking over to the woman with wavy brown hair standing beside him, “hello, Aunt Paula.”
“You look more like Victor every time I see you. Doesn't he, Lars?” Paula says, those brown eyes affectionate as ever.
“He certainly looks like him, but let's hope he doesn't get that nasty personality with the looks.” Lars exclaimes jokingly before grabbing Malik and putting him on his shoulders.
“Uncle Lars, put me down, this is embarrassing.” Malik mutters while Lars hosts him, giving him a piggyback ride.
Ignoring what Malik said, Lars walks further inside the house while the other person Malik doesn’t have time to great, as well as Paula, walk inside the house.
“Lars, take a seat. Paula, Nova, you too. Breakfast is almost ready.” Elizabeth says with a smile on her face while humming a tune that she occasionally sings to the children.
“Alright, Elizabeth, I wouldn't want to get on your bad side.” Lars laughs while putting Malik down next to where Nova is seated.
“Hello, Nova, it's been a while, hasn't it.” Malik says to the blond-haired boy who looks similar to Lars.
“Yes, really, it has been awhile, how are you doing?” Nova says excitedly, getting to interact with someone his age, who was similarly as smart as him. To Nova, Malik looked like a prodigy, and the same went for Malik.
“Look at you two, both so mature for your ages. To be honest, it's kinda scary.” Paula mused in a playful tone of voice.
“When do you think Enzo, Amara and Ennio will get here?” Immediately changing the subject, Victor asks this question. It was out of character for him to be asking.
“Should we go over to their house and ask?” Elizabeth says while cooking, almost finishing up on breakfast.
“No, Enzo and Amara will be here any minute now, Ennio was just crying and having a hard time.” Paula says, sitting down next to Nova.
“Nova never cries, no matter what. It is kind of creepy.” Lars exclaimes laughing about it.
“Same with Malik, I've never seen him cry once.” Elizabeth said while finishing up cooking.
“It's natural, some children don't cry now. Anyway, how's the blacksmithing going, Lars?” Victor said, changing the subject again.
“It's been doing great, actually. I'm one of the best blacksmiths in Heilen. Just got my gold certificate a month ago, and I still can’t believe it. Time does fly.”
“When we go back to adventuring, you need to make us some tools.” Elizabeth says in a sweet tone of voice.
“Will do, I am the only one out of the six of us whos making money.” Lars says with a smut expression.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
“Perfect timing, breakfast is done.” Elizabeth says, putting down the food at the table, while Victor goes to open the door.
A man walks in with a toddler crying in his arms. He has purple hair and silver eyes; the toddler he is holding has the same exact look as him. The same purple hair and the same eyes, even the same hair cut. It was as if they were twins; the only difference being their age.
Then behind the man was a woman with a menacing aura about her. Her eyes were blue but sharp like that of a cat, her hair was messy but in a way that looks like it was done on purpose.
“Hello, Uncle Enzo and Aunt Amara.” Malik and Nova both greeted the pair.
“The two prodigies, huh. My son will get up their thought, he may be a crybaby now but soon he will be a true warrior.” Amara complained.
“Now, now honey. It is normal for a kid to cry. It is unnormal for them to be speaking in full complex sentences.” Enzo tried to de-escalate the situation.
Let's sit down and eat now, shall we? Victor asked, trying to move the conversation along back on the subject.
“I do love Elizabeth's cooking.” Amara says, sitting down at the table and taking her son into her lap. The rest sit down at the 9-seated table.
“Now, time to eat.” Elizabeth said.
