DRESSED TO KILL

Carbon-Fiber, Chemical Waves, and High-Wire Acts

Carbon-Fiber, Chemical Waves, and High-Wire Acts

Jun 10, 2026

The final countdown for the grand drug bust had officially reached zero. The satellite tactical wall inside the penthouse flared with a cold, pulsing cobalt interface, displaying the fully decrypted architectural blueprint of the Destiano Estate. The red indicators highlighted the strict drone flight paths, biometric security grids, and the subterranean vault where "The Phantom Alchemist" was scheduled to meet his European distribution contacts.
Felix and Miya stood in the center of the room, completely shedding their high-society civilian disguises to gear up in their sleek, high-end tactical stealth suits.
The suits were made of an ultra-thin, matte-black carbon-fiber weave that absorbed 100% of ambient light, contouring perfectly to their athletic frames. Felix stood in front of the vanity mirror, his texturized black undercut wolf-cut hair styled with dangerous, messy perfection. He precisely secured a fresh, medical-grade scent blocker patch directly behind his left ear, checking his reflection with a razor-sharp, lethal assassin focus. He loaded a row of micro-thin silver tactical throwing wires into his wrist gauntlets, before checking the silencer attachment on his compact firearm.
"Biometric server codes are fully synchronized, Velvet," Miya said, securing a tactical belt over her sleek black stealth suit and checking her radar tablet. "The grandfather painting backdoor link is completely live. The moment the target steps into the ballroom downstairs, our system overrides the mansion's surveillance loop for exactly twelve minutes."
"Perfect. Twelve minutes is more than enough time to eliminate a French alchemist, secure the synthetic formulas, and slide out the roof ventilation line," Felix replied, his rosy-pink eyes glinting with pure, chilly precision as he strapped on his gear. "Let's make sure our exit is as immaculate as my performance."
"Well, our exit better be fast, because Diana just sent a VIP transport caravan to our lobby," Miya countered, her expression shifting as her smartphone rang with an urgent fashion alert. "You are officially scheduled to arrive at that red carpet as the main global runway muse for the Destiano Fall line."
"Gosh, Diana really takes her fashion business seriously," Felix pouted his rosy lips with an adorable, completely clueless little grin. "Don't worry, bestie. I’ll walk the red carpet, give the boyband family a flawless smile, and then slip into the shadows to execute the target. Let's go get this bread."

Meanwhile, cruising down the highway toward the grand event, the interior of the Destiano family limousine was a chaotic warzone of intense, suffocating sibling rivalry.
All four siblings were packed into the leather lounge seats, dressed in absolute peak, jaw-dropping luxury, and they were aggressively plotting how they were going to corner Felix the exact millisecond his transport arrived.
Richard sat at the head cushion, looking like a terrifyingly handsome corporate king in an immaculate midnight-black velvet tuxedo with a silk bow tie, his large hands tightly clutching a custom diamond watch. Luke sat directly opposite him, looking breathtakingly smooth in an obsidian-navy tailored suit that perfectly highlighted his broad 6'2 muscular frame. Dedrick was in a custom-fitted white and gold dress tuxedo that accentuated his powerful athlete build, completely recovered from his ice-water trauma and fiercely checking his reflection in a silver flask. Even Diana was pacing inside the moving limo, her stunning platinum-blonde hair flowing over an emerald-green designer gown, her face heavily blushing just thinking about seeing Miya again.
"Let me make the corporate hierarchy perfectly clear to all of you," Richard hissed, narrowing his icy blue eyes as his deep voice radiated dominant Alpha authority. "I am the sole owner of the offshore account Felix requested during our... executive consultation. We have already established shared financial assets. The moment his car doors open, I will personally escort him to the primary VIP lounge."
"You bought him a boat, Richard, you didn’t buy his schedule," Luke let out a cold, dark chuckle, crossing his broad arms with peak predatory elegance. "His performance last night proved he belongs strictly under my artistic choreography management. I have pre-booked the entire backstage studio wing for a private... private evaluation tonight."
"No way, old men!" Dedrick slammed his silver flask down, his face a bright, jealous crimson as his Alpha pride flared. "I already talked to Emily, and she said Felix is sitting right next to me at the main sports celebrity table! I don't care about your assets or your studios, I'm the star athlete and I'm blocking both of you the second he hits the red carpet!"
"Silence, all of you!" Diana commanded, adjusting her emerald gown with absolute, commanding fashion-matriarch power. "Felix is contractually bound to the Destiano Fashion Group tonight as my primary global visual muse! My security team has formed a massive perimeter wall around the entire red carpet! None of your desperate Alpha antics will be tolerated near my runway line-up! And more importantly... if any of you dare to scare his beautiful, hardworking older sister Miya away tonight with your chaotic behavior, I will personally strip your corporate allowances by tomorrow morning!"
The four siblings aggressively glared at each other, their collective, suffocating Alpha pheromones violently clashing inside the enclosed luxury limousine as the car pulled up to the roaring red carpet—every single one of them completely determined to fight to the death to win Felix's heart, completely oblivious to the fact that their dream "pretty baker boy" was currently wearing a matte-black tactical stealth suit and packing silencers underneath his designer runway coat, fully prepared to turn their family's grand charity gala into a massive, blood-soaked international cartel bust!

Flashing paparazzi bulbs ignited the night like lightning, blinding the sea of high-society guests crowding the grand outdoor courtyard entrance of the Destiano Estate. The hyper-competitive limousine doors flew open, and the four siblings stepped out onto the velvet carpet in a synchronized display of ultra-wealthy, predatory Alpha perfection [Tapas, Tappytoon].
Before Richard, Luke, or Dedrick could take a single step forward to launch their pre-planned escort formations, a sleek, tinted luxury transport from the Destiano Fashion Group glided to a halt at the primary outdoor drop-off line. The press went absolutely feral. The door opened, and Felix stepped onto the red carpet as Diana's main global runway model [Tapas, Tappytoon].
The visual layout was pure tactical genius. To completely mask the matte-black carbon-fiber stealth suit hiding underneath, he wore a massive, structural floor-length trench coat made of heavy, obsidian-black brushed wool. The high collar was pulled up sharply, perfectly framing his texturized black undercut wolf-cut hair and completely hiding his pale throat beauty mark from the cameras. His big, rosy-pink eyes glinted with an innocent, doll-like gaze that masterfully hid his lethal focus.
The three giant Alpha brothers instantly suffered a collective, short-circuited brain freeze. Their faces flushed a deep, synchronized shade of burning, bright crimson as their inner Alphas collapsed to their knees. Richard desperately reached for his gold pen, Luke tensed his broad 6'2 shoulders, and Dedrick frantically stepped forward with a bouquet of rare black orchids—all of them completely fighting to block each other just to touch Felix’s gloved hand.
Suddenly, the heavy glass double doors leading into the indoor VIP lounge corridor rattled violently. A tall, elegant man wrapped in a sharp white tailored tuxedo stepped out onto the marble threshold, surrounded by a dozen heavily armed private mercenaries. It was The Phantom Alchemist.
The moment the French billionaire rogue entered the indoor corridor, he subtly clicked a tiny button hidden on his custom cufflink panel. Instantly, an ultra-fine, colorless mist hissed from his lapel pin, releasing a sudden, heavy wave of his toxic synthetic neural compound directly into the air of the enclosed indoor VIP lounge. High-society guests inside the building suddenly gasped, clutching their throats in confusion as the paralyzing mist began to choke their subgender neural glands.
Outside on the windy red carpet, the three giant Destiano brothers didn't breathe a single drop of the indoor chemical wave. Instead, their elite protective instincts violently flared as they saw an uninvited, armed mercenary squad stepping onto their family's porch. For one single split-second, Richard, Luke, and Dedrick turned their sharp blonde heads to glare fiercely at the security breach.
That microsecond of distraction was all Velvet Trigger needed.
With the blinding, fluid speed of a world-class specialist, Felix instantly cut left, his long black trench coat swirling as he ducked behind a massive, ten-foot-tall decorative Destiano Fashion Group backdrop wall. Before the three brothers could even snap their eyes back, Felix had completely vanished into the deep, unlit shadows of the mansion’s side asset corridors.
"Jade, the target just deployed an indoor neural chemical wave at the lounge gates. The asset distribution is live. Move into the basement sector now. Initiate the twelve-minute surveillance override," Felix whispered sharply into his hidden wireless earpiece as he slid through a side window, his voice velvet and cold.
"Copy that, Velvet! The backdoor painting link is fully operational. Overriding the mansion's camera loops... now," Miya's sharp, focused voice cracked through a wall of pure static. "You have exactly twelve minutes to erase him before the server detects the breach. The three blonde giants just realized you vanished from the porch—they are running inside right now to find you!"

The interior corridors of the mansion were a chaotic blur. Upstairs, Richard, Luke, and Dedrick were frantically sprinting through the high-society hallways, completely panicking because their dream boy had vanished into thin air. Richard was yelling into his corporate radio to lock down the perimeter, Luke was tracking the "rhythmic movement lines" of the staff, and Dedrick was aggressively checking the VIP bathrooms—their lovesick stalker instincts driving them completely unhinged.
Felix moved like a dark, scentless phantom just one floor below them, completely shedding his heavy black wool trench coat to reveal his sleek, matte-black tactical stealth suit. His texturized wolf-cut hair caught the dim emergency lighting as he dropped a pair of cartel guards with two silent, hyper-precise throat-strikes, dragging their bodies into a storage closet before his three lovesick brothers could round the corner.
BEEP. BEEP.
Suddenly, Miya's voice exploded through his earpiece in a state of absolute, comically unhinged panic.
"VELVET! WE HAVE A MASSIVE LOGISTICAL CRISIS!" Miya yelled through the line. "Diana's high-fashion design crew just wandered into the subterranean chemical vault to look for extra fabric racks! The Alchemist's private mercenaries have completely surrounded them, and Diana is trapped inside the main vault loop right now!"
Felix violently stopped mid-stride, his rosy-pink eyes widening in deadpan amusement. "Wait... the fashion sister is trapped inside the drug vault? Why is she always looking for clothes in a combat zone?!"
"I don't know, but she’s wearing an emerald green gown and her eyes are completely watery because a mercenary is pointing a rifle at her!" Miya shouted back. "I'm overriding the basement door codes right now! I'm going in to breach the perimeter in my stealth suit—do not let her see my face!"
Down in the dark, industrial subterranean vault, Diana Destiano stood backed against a heavy steel chemical container, her diamond jewelry flashing under the dim red warning lights. Three heavily armed cartel mercenaries were stepping forward, their rifles raised maliciously.
"You walked into the wrong sector, Ms. Destiano," the lead mercenary sneered, pulling the trigger mechanism. "The Alchemist doesn't leave witnesses—"
CRASH!
The reinforced glass ceiling vents completely shattered. Miya dropped from the ceiling loop like a lethal black panther, her matte-black stealth suit accentuating her athletic Alpha frame as her short wavy hair flew in the wind. Mid-air, she drew two tactical batons, violently cracking them against the first two mercenaries' jaws with a bone-shattering THWACK.
She spun gracefully, her long legs sweeping the final guard off his feet, slamming him hard against the concrete floor until he went entirely limp.
Diana clutched her chest, her sharp fashion-mogul eyes going heavily watery, a deep crimson blush violently bursting across her cheeks as her heart did a colossal, love-struck backflip. Even though Miya was wearing a tight black tactical stealth mask that covered her nose and mouth, Diana instantly recognized those beautiful, striking eyes and that exact protective aura from the bakery counter.
"M-Miya...?! It's you!" Diana gasped, her voice rendering intense, starry-eyed obsession. "The brave, hardworking artisan sister! You... you put on a high-tech black stealth suit and dropped from the ceiling just to save my life from corporate terrorists... Oh, heavens, your family's tragic past is so beautifully dangerous!"
Miya completely froze in the center of the vault floor, her own face turning a violent shade of bright red underneath her tactical mask. Her assassin reflexes entirely short-circuited as she frantically tried to hide her weapons behind her back, her posture turning completely flustered.
"M-Ms. Destiano?! Oh my god! No! You have the wrong person!" Miya stammered through her mask in a complete, high-pitched older-sister panic.
Up on the catwalk above, Felix leaned over the metal railing, popping a bubblegum bubble with a deadpan, comically blunt little giggle as he watched his tough older sister completely melt under the fashion mogul's lovesick gaze.
"Wow, Miya. You really know how to find a girlfriend in the middle of a biological drug bust," Felix muttered with a beautifully sexy smirk, checking his digital timer as the countdown hit 06:00 minutes. "Keep her safe, bestie! I’m going to the inner chamber to erase the Alchemist before the boyband bachelors find my location!"
