This place has been a warzone all week. It started back on Wednesday: Robyn and Seb finally came back from hanging with the Rooftoppers all month, but they had barely put their cloaks up when a band of knights came down on us, hard. Robyn and Seb had their swords with them, and I had dug mine out that morning since I was gonna spar with Bill, but Kaela had to leave hers behind as we escaped. There were at least three knights so we really wouldn’t have stood a chance fighting them, especially since we weren’t prepared.

We’ve been patrolling with the Rooftoppers since then. At first we would go in small groups as usual, but the knights kept confronting us so Bill, Kaela, and Sarah (she’s the leader of the Rooftoppers, as much as they actually have one) decided we should keep the entire group together. That makes fourteen of us, including Bill, but the knights are still trying their luck! It’s mainly Miss Morgan and a group of three others that hang with her, but sometimes there’s even more of them, if you can believe that.

Today we managed to get back to what was left of our home, they had turned it completely upside down. They also cut my bike in half, which honestly felt like a personal attack. At least they hadn’t found Kaela’s sword so she got that back, and I found the journal…
