Felix was walking home in the town just outside of Seoul headed home from the bar not drunk but still feeling the giddiness and lightweight freeness regardless. Taking in the first night he had ACTUALLY broken free from his bindings and taken a risk and it worked out in his favor, even if only for tonight. He walks home while thinking about the man he just met. Felix never goes out let alone talks to anyone when he does but tonight he felt every ounce of precaution and reservation leave his body the second he laid eyes on the man. The morning before had been nothing but uneventful, his morning and afternoon being drug on and on while Felix sat in meeting after meeting wanting nothing more than to tear his eyes and ears out. ‘I envy Helen Keller’ he thought as another one of the men, probably in his mid 50s, droning on about stocks and number for the quarterly report while the others in the meeting room were taking notes and Felix just shrunk himself into a corner, wishing for the wall to just swallow him whole. He hated meetings but he especially hated this company. His dad owns Lee Loans, one of the most successful companies in Seoul. Felix has known since he could walk that the company was to be run by him. His entire future was planned out down to the brand of socks he wears, He felt like a puppet. He feels like everytime he leaves his house it’s to make the family image and the company look good. Sometimes he wonders if that’s all he’s good for. He was painfully aware that he had no control. He was told what to eat, how to dress, when to sleep, hell at this point he was shocked they didn’t schedule him going to the bathroom. But today was different. The meetings ended early and for the first time Felix had free time. Not that his parents would let him explore his new city but Felix was determined. See Felix was originally from Australia and when his parents expanded their company his dad had insisted that Felix stayed in Australia. But Felix for once saw a sliver of hope. He convinced his father to let him come to Korea on his own with cameras around the house so his parents could monitor his actions still. But tonight he had a plan. He was walking home when he stopped by a little pop up shop and looked around. He was looking at the little figures, glass and fragile and thinking to himself how he related a bit too much to the glass figures sitting on the shelf. He too felt like he was just for show, something new and shiny to show people then to be put back on the shelf waiting for his time to be shown again. Although if he was honest, sometimes he felt more fragile and breakable than the glass. He was contemplating this when he peered out the window. He saw a flyer for a new bar that was having its grand opening tonight and if you brought the flyer it gives you a free drink and it covers the cost to get in. Felix grabbed a flyer and walked out of the shop determination on his face as he devised a plan. When the time was right he slowly moved the camera that covered his backyard and the sides of the house by going through the attic and put things in front of it to block the view. His parents were probably asleep by now and they wouldn’t even know at this point anyway and if they did it would be too late anyway. He then gets dressed deciding on a thin sheer black crop top with tight black ripped jeans and a few chains hanging on his belt loop. He decides on a thin sparkly belt and a necklace that complemented it well. He put on his dark boots with chains dangling on them and then adds his makeup. It’s a simple Smokey eye with tinges of red eyeliner to make his eyes pop and a thin lip gloss that made his lips look more plump than usual. He puts his long blonde hair into a high ponytail with the sides being braided into the ponytail. Once he feels satisfied with his look and takes a look in the mirror he widens his eyes in shock. His parents would have actually killed him if they knew he had these clothes let alone wanted to wear them in public, but Felix quickly shut that thought out because tonight was about him and feeling freedom.
Felix arrives about 20 minutes later outside this new bar called club 143. He saw the line and almost turned around when the security called out “Everyone that has a flyer line up over here!” Then the two groups split off and seeing how short the line with fliers was he turned back around and handed the flier and his ID to the guard who then ushered him and a group of others inside. They were led by another security guard down a hallway and then they entered a wide opening. The scene was unique. Above him a soft warm light illuminated the ceiling and there were a few pool tables and air hockey tables to the left. On the other side were a few rows of tables, dark polished wood glinting against the soft colors of the off white walls with deep red trim running through the building. The building felt very warm and welcoming while also having the sleek and styled vibe. In the center was a round bar complete with barstools and around 4-5 bartenders finishing their tasks before the massive opening they predicted to have. Felix takes in the sight and thinks about what to do next. He decides that he’s going to snag one of the bar stools and try a drink. He finds the menu tucked away in the napkin holder and while he’s reading it and trying to decide what drink he should try first, he doesn’t realize the bartender had come up to him let alone said anything. Once Felix realizes he was being spoken to he looked up to ask the bartender what they would recommend when his heart suddenly hammered in his chest. The man looking back at him had on a simple uniform black button up shirt with black slacks and black shoes but what caught Felix’s attention was the man himself. Shoulder length jet black hair in a half up half down ponytail. He has a sharp jawline and perfectly pink plump lips but his eyes were the most captivating. They were dark brown but still light enough to see the calm lights from above shine on them making them almost sparkle. Felix looked into his eyes and completely lost brain function. “Wh-um sorry what did you say?” He tore his gaze from the bartender and stared at the bar top being suddenly Interested in the polished wood. The bartender raises a slender eyebrow and says, “I’m Hyunjin and I’ll be your bartender and I was wondering if you had any questions about the menu?” Felix mentally facepalms and without raising his gaze from the bar he mumbles, “I’m not too sure what would you recommend?" Hyunjin smiles politely and asks, “Well what do ya like? Something strong, smooth? Maybe something a little sweet?” At that Felix perks up and gazes at the bartender and Hyunjin’s smile widens and says, “I know just the thing! Do ya trust me?”
