Until the door opened without warning.

''Ohh so THIS is where rich silence lives.''

Ohm announced, walking in like he owned the place.

Arnold didn't look up immediately.

''...You're not supposed to be here.''

''I KNOW,'' Ohm said, already sitting down opposite him.

''Didn't stop me.''

Arnold finally looked at him.

Expression flat.

''Get out.''

''No.''

Silence

Ohm leaned forward, elbows on the desk.

''So,''

A grin.

''...Tua was very embarrassed today.''

Arnold's pen paused for half a second

Then continued.

''And?''

''Oh it's nothing,''Ohm waved his hand dramatically.

''Just your elevator victim apologizing like his life depends on it.''

Arnold didn't react.

But his grip on the pen changed slightly.

Ohm noticed

Immediately.

''You were calm,'' Ohm added slowly.

Arnold looked at him

''....What do you want?''

Ohm titled his head.

''Simple question.''

Then casually-

''Do you like Tua?''

No reaction.

No denial.

Just silence.

Ohm blinked 

Then slowly smiled

''oh..''

Arnold finally spoke.

''That's not your business.''

Ohm leaned back in chair like he had just won something.

''That's not a no.''

Arnold's eyes narrowed slightly.

''Leave.''

But Ohm wasn't done.

Not even close.

''Oh I get it now,'' he said, pointing slightly.

''You don't talk much, you just -observe.''

''And you're definitely observing him.''

Arnold said.

''Get out of my office.''

''I will,'' Ohm said quickly.

''But I'm not done observing you.''

He walked toward the door, then paused.

Turned back one last time.

''I don't know what re you thinking, Ohm said,

''But I know you didn't say no.''

A beat.

Then he grinned again.

''So I'II just...watch.''

''And confirm it myself.''

And then-

He left.

Door closing behind him.

Silence returned.

Arnold stood there for a moment.

Still 

Then quietly-

''...Annoying.''
