Meanwhile in the infirmary, Theo and Charlie are on the beds recovering. Theo silently removes the bandages from his face, squeaking in pain, he sees his face is clean. ‘’Huh. I guess it’s progress.’’ He removes slowly, Charlie scoffing, ‘’Why are you doing the 1920s way when you can just remove them your face in an instant?’’

‘’That doesn’t sound healthy.’’ Theo sweats. ‘’Yeah it does!’’ Charlie grabs the bandages on his cheek and removes them, throwing them away. Red marks surround them, he continues removing, grinning, ‘’I am a genius.’’

Sage stares at him, ‘’You are a villager you know that?’’ Charlie snaps his head towards Sage, ‘’Shut up, you Metal Mario looking wannabe!’’

‘’I mean, only villagers would take their bandages out like that. You’re one freak of nature.’’ Sage says it, half-amused.

‘’Stop freaking me out with your freak of nature trash! Why don’t you go back to hitting steel?!’’ Charlie shouts, grabbing the bandage from his nose, ‘’Okay, that hurt.’’

Theo removes his cast, ‘’Wow. I can’t believe it. My injuries have healed in like 3 days.’’ Chloe smiles, ‘’I’m glad my medicine helped.’’ Theo is shocked, ‘’Wait your medicine? What is it called?’’

‘’Okay not really a medicine, it’s like a spice that I added in the food I gave you two. But I made it myself. I’m an expert on potions and stuff.’’ Chloe pulls out the bottle.

‘’Oh, so that’s why Charlie complained about the food.’’ Theo realizes. Chloe chuckles softly, ‘’Yeah, I guess.’’

‘’Wait, you make potions and medicine, are you a witch?’’ Theo asks. ‘’Okay, now you’re really making it sound bad.’’ Chloe says flatly.

‘’No, No, Sorry. I’m just asking.’’ Theo touches the bandage on his hand, ‘’Alright. Since you know the supernatural power system came along when I was young, and I was born to a family of witches who would make potions to succeed, I was really bullied in school and got a bad reputation. And also, my thunder ability, despite my will which was wanting to heal made it worse. It was not until I came to Aureole, where they accepted me for who I am and worked with the support inventors for like 2 years, until James saw that and gave me a place on Team Aureole. But I wonder why I got this thunder ability.’’ Chloe sighs.

‘’Man. That’s tough.’’ Theo looks down, sympathetic, ‘’I think I know why you got it. You harbor deep resentment and that anger inside you took over your body.’’

‘’What? No, I would never---‘’ Chloe gets cut off when Theo tells her, ‘’Chloe. It’s okay. It’s okay to get mad, because if you store that anger it can manifest in different ways. But let me tell you, it’s useless to be angry and fight someone who is mocking your dreams. If you believe in them, then you will keep it yourself and accept them.’’ Theo says, softly.

Chloe is shocked by his advice, she realizes something, ‘’You’re right…’’ She says silently, ‘’All this time I have been taking every insult to heart because….’’

‘’You have a fragile ego. Just like me.’’ Theo admits, ‘’I don’t want to appear narcissistic or something, but am I?’’

‘’No, you’re not. Having a fragile ego doesn’t mean you are proud of yourself mostly, you just have a poor sense of self. But wait, if you have then why do you want to save people?’’ Chloe asks. Theo looks her in the eye, ‘’I— ‘’

Their conversation gets interrupted when the door slams on the ground, abruptly. Everyone turns around, ‘’Sage, was that you?!’’ Chloe asks, her voice rising.

‘’Okay, this time it wasn’t me. And wait…I’m over here, unless you can’t see me because your focused on your new boyfriend?’’ Sage taunts her. Chloe thinks, ‘’Boyfriend?’’ She tells him, ‘’Which new boyfriend?’’

A large roar is heard, they all turn around. And a large I clone leaps to them, barks demonic.

‘’What is that thing?’’ Sage shouts, ‘’Ah! It creeps me out!’’ Charlie shouts, grabbing his fire gun. ‘’And I kill those who creep me out. Except humans obviously.’’ Charlie chucks the fire gun and aims at the I clone, ‘’Time to put my weapon to the test.’’

He pulls the trigger and many fireballs shoot out from the gun, blasting at the I clone. The clone screams in pain, exploding. The room also explodes, as Charlie screams and flies around, ‘’This is so cool! This is so fast! I can’t stop it!’’

Another I clone leaps at Charlie, and Charlie spins around, finally stopping the gun and charging his legs with fire, ‘’Go eat dog food, creeps!’’ He kicks the clone, making it bounce across the room, it gets up, roaring. Sage presses his glove and turns fall cyborg-metal, ‘’Alright. Go to sleep, now that metal god Sage is here!’’

Sage runs, his body heavy. He charges a large punch and hits the I clone, multiple metal ports buzzing and blasting the clone away, smashing the wall.

‘’Man, Stella really is a genius.’’ Sage looks at the glove in awe. Theo’s body jolts up, hearing approaching footsteps, ‘’Guys, 7 clones are now appearing. And also.’’ His sense of sight opens a visualization, ‘’The cafeteria is surrounded by I clones. We need to go help Stella Vane who is fighting them at the moment.’’

‘’Idiot! These clones are designed to wear us out. If we keep fighting them, we are playing right into the unknown villain’s plans. I just want to know, who made this abomination.’’ Charlie thinks.

‘’But Stella is in trouble, and who knows what James is doing underground, we need to help as well.’’ Chloe walks in front.

‘’Yeah, she’s right.’’ Sage walks as well, ‘’So if you want to stay, then you can do whatever you want. But I’m not gonna be standing in the sidelines again.’’ He turns to Theo and Charlie, ‘’This time. I will be the metal god.’’

Charlie stares at Sage, his expression unreadable. But he smirks, ‘’Jock.’’ He stands up, ‘’Of course, I’m coming.’’

Theo also stands up, ‘’Same. And this time, I won’t self-destruct my body again.’’ He pulls out his shining jet boots, eyes flashing blue. Charlie fist bumps Theo, ‘’Let’s kick some ass.’’

Theo smiles, putting on the boots, ‘’Right.’’ Blue energy crackles around his body, and his jetpacks turn on, blue gas flashing behind. Theo then looks up, determined.

A large explosion happens, and Theo shoots out of the room, landing on the wall, he walls jumps metal times in full speed, seeing I clones in front of him, He kicks one, sending them flying away, hitting the others, exploding. Theo continues wall jumping, left wall, right wall, and ceiling while talking, ‘’The cafeteria is just 40 steps away. I can feel it.’’ He sees I clones in front of him and uses his legs to smash them, breaking the floor, sending them flying down.

‘’Nice moves, Theo!’’ Sage says, as he runs, flipping and kicking the I clone away. Charlie runs, the fire gun strapped behind his back, ‘’Stop fighting these. Your wasting your energy.’’

‘’Oh, right. Thanks for the warning, Charlie.’’ Theo nods, an I clone leaps in front of him, and Theo spins, about to kick it, but Charlie pushes Theo, ‘’Even if you nod, you won’t listen. I’ll handle these dogs who keep getting their paws dirty.’’

He grabs the gun strapped to his back and chucks it, aiming at them, grinning, ‘’Prepare to explode!’’ He shoots the multiple fireballs, laughing as the whole room starts exploding. Multiple parts explode, the I clones blasting away in pain, the floor is all explosions, the ceiling is all explosions, it’s such a large explosion that it destroys a part of the school, sending windows and debris away.

Charlie laughs as the fire illuminates in his face, ‘’Keep up the load, fire gun!’’ Theo and the others all look at Charlie in shock.

‘’His support gear is terrifying and cool at the same time.’’ Theo says, anxious. The fire starts illuminating in everyone’s faces as they all explode backward, flying and screaming.

‘’Dammit! I missed it! An I clone was on the ground!’’ Charlie looks on the ground, seeing it crack and emit with a red glow, he tries blasting it, but it just sends them away. Smoke and fire everywhere. Theo feels something, something not normal. He looks on the ground and the footsteps don’t sound normal, they sound ominous.

‘’Wait.’’ Theo thinks, he tries using sense of sight but if backfires, causing his head to ache, and eyes to be a rainbow for a short second, ‘’The enemy is blocking my sense of sight. Which means…’’

He realizes something and shouts to Charlie, ‘’Wait, Charlie! This might not be a mere I clone!’’

‘’Then tell me what the hell it is! I’m playing whack-a-mole with it now!’’’ Charlie keeps shooting.

‘’Is it a root burner?!’’ Chloe asks, trying to stay afloat. ‘’Wait, why a Root Burner?’’ Sage asks.

Theo can’t comprehend what he is feeling. It just feels wrong, like it’s going to strangle his neck in a second.

‘’Alright, you’ve failed the guessing game. This thing is pissing me off!’’ Charlie shouts frustrated, shooting extremely large fireballs this time, however he freezes when he sees red orbs blasting out from the floor, they all bounce around in the room, fast they can’t see them.

They all shoot at them in a perfectly timed direction, their faces all look shocked. The whole room crackles with red energy, and explodes, the type of explosion that destroys the whole room.

Team Aureole is sent flying in the cafeteria, burnt, Stella turns around and quickly forms cloud spheres, making them land properly.

Charlie coughs, his voice hoarse. ‘’Guys. What the hell was that?’’ Everyone is silent, looking up. ‘’I don’t know.’’ Theo replies, his voice weak. Stella walks to them, ‘’What are you guys doing here? I told you to stay at the infirmary.’’

‘’We couldn’t just stand there and watch you fail.’’ Chloe coughs. Stella is shocked by their answer, ‘’It’s too dangerous, though. The school is filled with I clones roaming around, you could have gotten killed.’’

‘’We didn’t though, we managed to defeat some of them.’’ Sage’s eyes falter. ‘’Then why are you destroyed like this?’’ Stella asks, concerned.

They are all silent, coughing. ‘’There were many fast-red orbs that shoot us out of the area. I don’t know who manipulated them, it looked like the enemy turned my power against me.’’ Theo answers shocked.

Stella’s eye widens, ‘’Wait, don’t tell me. Did James let Alex escape?’’

‘’Wait…Alex is around?’’ Charlie instantly sits up, ‘’We’re screwed.’’

Stella presses her headphones, ‘’Get all the seniors on the front lines, I repeat. Get all the seniors on the front---‘’

She gets cut off when the area crackles with red energy, a large explosion happens. Sending Stella and the rest of Team Aureole flying outside, dropping on the ground, raining heavily. They look up at the school, their faces are soaked in rain. And instantly stand up.

Theo hears approaching footsteps and sees Alex in front of them, wearing a large white suite, white crown and black cape.

‘’Alexander Kim!’’ Theo shouts in anger, eyes flashing blue.
