darkness lingering on a source of light. Alex stands in front, smirking, ‘’That’s my name, new boy. Isn’t it magnificent?’’

‘’There’s nothing magnificent about your crimes, you idiot.’’ Charlie says, standing up. ‘’Crimes?’’ Alex laughs, ‘’Oh, which crimes did I commit?’’

‘’You destroyed our chance to victory 5 times, our chance of freedom. Our chance to be from this hell-hole, and you ruined that.’’ Charlie says in anger, his eyes flashing with fire.

‘’That’s more about your selfish desires than about everyone else’s crimes. So why don’t you stop acting like I’m the villain when I’m a man with a goal.’’ Alex’s jaw clenches.

‘’Man, with a horrendous goal. Listen, Alex. Your goal is right, your belief is correct, but your methods are terrible. This is not the way to solve things.’’ Theo tells him.

Alex’s eye twitches, ‘’You are also reducing me to a one-dimensional person who wants to burn the school down. My methods are nuanced, you are just false ‘’heroes’’ who follow a script and act self-righteous but you’re just fools!’’

‘’Fine. We will stop you…. with violence.’’ Sage says as he steps up. Chloe also stands up, holding her arm.

‘’Idiots. Idiots. Idiots. Idiots. IDIOT SCUMBAGS!’’ Alex shouts in anger, holding his hair and pulling it out, he then shouts on top of his lungs, his voice demonic and loud as ever. ‘’WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS? WHY DO YOU FOLLOW A SYSTEM AND RECOGNIZE IT’S WRONG, I’VE HAD ENOUGH!’’ Alex breaks down, his voice changing between human and demonic, ‘’I’m gonna kill these brainwashed ants! These people that person brainwashed and tied them to a chair to watch a screen of people praising this wretched academy! I’LL KILL EVERY ONE OF THEM AND MAKE SURE NONE OF THEM EXIST AND RUN AFTER ME. I’M GONNA KILL UNTIL I’M ARRESTED, KILL UNTIL I’M DONE WITH MY DAMN MISSION!’’

Alex flicks two of his fingers, about to release large red orbs, but portals open and two seniors’ blast in, smoke surrounding their body, ‘’There he is!’’ They both shout in unison.

Alex turns around and his eye twitches, ‘’Get out of my way, useless fools.’’ He forms two large shields which send the both of them flying and hitting the ground. Alex then redirects their powers to the ground, small fire cracking on the floor, until fire crackles and explodes the whole floor, fire everywhere, around the courtyard. Team Aureole looks around shocked.

Alex pants heavily, ‘’Some more of these brainwashed people? Who is this demon?’’

The senior stands up, black marks around his face, ‘’I’m not used getting pushed around like a ragdoll like that. Remember we may not be stronger than these study groups, but we still have the heart and will to protect. You know why? Because we’re seniors.’’

‘’Kent. Thank you.’’ Stella says, lying on the ground weakly. ‘’Don’t mention it, Ms. Vane. Wait, are you alright?’’

‘’Do I look alright?’’ Stella asks, Kent hesitates, ‘’We need Lisa to come down here, get her up. And also, is that Team Aureole? Big fan. Especially James. But wait, aren’t those kids?’

‘’No, I’m fine.’’ Stella says, standing up. ‘’And also, these kids are way stronger than you think. Please…’’ Stella looks at Kent in the eye, ‘’Support them.’’

Kent nods, ‘’Alright.’’ He starts walking towards them, ‘’My name is Kent Scott. Nice to meet you.’’

They all turn around and nod, ‘’Alright, Scott-man. Get out of the way, because it’s time to pull out the big guns.’’ Charlie grins as he aims the gun at Alex, he pulls out the trigger and BOOM

Multiple fireballs release in rapid succession, Alex’s eyes widen but smirks, ‘’Oh, this is no trouble for me.’’

They all explode, turning the sky into a relentless wall of sound. The area is filled with an orange-yellow atmosphere, fire illuminating as Alex blocks, forming multiple red shields, half his face is burnt, smoke rising from his cheek. But Alex regenerates, laughing, ‘’Are you done with the fireworks, fireman? Because I’m coming to explode you all the way to heaven. Just like how I did with James.’’

‘’Well, I’m gonna blast your ass straight to hell!’’ Charlie screams he pulls the trigger again and multiple fireballs release in rapid speed.

‘’This is annoying.’’ Alex says unfazed. He then blasts, leaving red trails, the fireballs all explode him, each BOOM harder than ever, but Alex keeps blocking with his red shields, ‘’Is that all you can do, angry-guy? You really are disappointing.’’

Charlie blasts fire strings at Alex, tying him, ‘’He’s all yours, Sage!’’ He swings him, Alex just laughs and breaks free, ‘’How weak.’’

Sage releases a punch, but Alex jumps and flips, landing on the ground. ‘’So, you are Sage huh? The one Roy complained about?’’

Sage charges his metal and releases them as projectiles, multiple shards of metal hit Alex, but bounce of him. Charlie ties him again with fire strings, but this time he makes them burn him, Alex screams in pain.

Sage blasts and repeatedly punches Alex, faster than ever. The punches making Alex bleed and scream.

Meanwhile Theo watches from afar, nodding, ‘’How is the plan going?’’ he asks. ‘’Better than expected. As we discussed, the only way to defeat Alex is to stop his regeneration. And we need to find that source.’’ Kent says, determined. He touches Theo’s hair, ‘’Youngster. You’re next.’’ Theo nods, ‘’Right.’’

Meanwhile on the roof, Vesper stands, watching the fight between Charlie, Sage and Alex. She sees fire everywhere, the sky now filled with the smell of smoke and debris. Once a courtyard, now a battlefield.

She pulls out 6 large grenades and throws them, ‘’Win this. Team.’’ She says determined. And then descends into the shadows.

A large explosion happens, everyone turns, and Alex is on the ground, bleeding and burnt. His whole skin crust, ‘’What was that? Who would do such an insane thing? Was that a grenade? Wait, why do I get the feeling that there is something---‘’

Multiple shadows are in front of Alex and strangle him, his body, his hands, his neck. He screams, shocked. ‘’What the….’’

Charlie and Sage are shocked, ‘’Vesper made it?’’ They both ask in unison. Kent and the others watch from the bushes, ‘’Alright, lads. It’s an opening go and shoot!’’ Kent shouts.

A large army of people in suits run out with cyber-guns, they all aim at Alex, ‘’Fire!’’ Kent shouts, as a large beam of dark blue energy blasts Alex, from multiple areas, it causes him high pain, making him scream. His body starts burning worser and smoke rises.

Alex looks up and sees Theo in the sky, about to punch Alex, his fist white. Alex grins, ‘’Oh, hey, not too shabby. You’re starting to go in sync now, newbie!’’

A large red beam shoots out of Alex’s chest, Theo gasps and dodges swiftly. Multiple orbs blast from his chest and all aim at Theo, Theo tries dodging but they all blast him, making him fly away, red energy cracking around his body. He coughs blood, gasping for air, ‘’I missed.’’ He thinks to himself, and lands on the ground.

‘’Theo!’’ Sage runs after him but the ground starts breaking, multiple cracks appearing. They all flash with red energy and explode, the explosion passes through the grounds. Charlie ties Sage with fire strings, ‘’Let’s get out of here!’’ In an instant, fire flashes and Charlie flies in the air, landing on the bush where Theo lies, scarred and bleeding, gasping for air, ‘’That was…. the worst attack, I got yet.’’ He thinks to himself, he clutches his fist, ‘’But I’m not giving up.’’

The soldiers also blast away, their guns broken as Alex is now on the ground, his whole body burnt to a crisp but still surviving, ‘’Don’t beat yourself up. Those attacks could have killed my pawns, you know?’’

Alex stands up, smoke everywhere. He quickly regenerates, his body turning back to his original color. But this time, he is shirtless, and only wearing trousers.

Kent gasps in shock, ‘’That attack failed?’’ He then hears something and sees Chloe running, her body glowing yellow, ‘’Sorry if I took so long. I was recharging.’’

She checks her weather watch, ‘’Perfect timing.’’  She leaps on to the ground, panting heavily, the dark atmosphere on her. She holds her hands, her eyes flashing yellow.

Alex looks at her and laughs, ‘’Who are you again? I’ve forgotten your name. Oh, you’re the groups most useless member.’’ He blasts towards her with a red aura, he then kicks her, sending her flying, but she lands on the bushes, a bit hurt.

‘’What are you gonna do?’’ Alex asks as multiple red orbs bounce on the ground, Chloe gasps, ‘’Oh no, not good.’’

‘’Aw, why do you look dejected, princess? Is it because I planted those balls there? How sweet, you can die. Your life is worthless, anyway.’’ Alex says, voice demonic.

They all explode and Chloe screams, her eyes closed. however, she opens her eyes and sees Theo in front of her, holding Alex’s hands blue energy circulating around his body.

‘’Don’t say that! Don’t you ever talk to her like that!’’ Theo shouts. Alex laughs, ‘’Oh, what is it? Did I strike a nerve?’’

‘’It’s not about striking nerves. You can’t call someone’s life is worthless just because they mean nothing to you, even you felt like nothing in life, Alex. We all felt worthless at one point, can’t you see that?’’ Theo tells him, coughing.

Alex’s eyes widen and he grins, ‘’What are you? A therapist. Doesn’t matter because I’m focused on you. You’re gonna die instead.’’

‘’300 million volts.’’ Chloe mutters, darkly. Her eyes purple. They all turn around. ‘’Are you playing attack names, girl? Because if I remember— ‘’ Alex gets cut off when thunder strikes, lots of thunder strikes from the sky and hits Alex, making him scream, flashing between his skeleton body and human body. He screams loudly, the burns worser than ever.

The thunder stops, leaving Alex heavily burnt again, his body dark and crisped. Like from being put in a grill. He slowly looks up, some sand dropping, ‘’And thunderclap.’’ Her eyes are now yellow again as a thunderclap is heard and strikes Alex, making him scream, although this time he uses a red forcefield which gets weaker.

‘’Theo. Go ahead.’’ Chloe says, her body starting to heat up. She feels immense ahead and walks slowly, ‘’Are you alright?’’ Theo asks, concerned.

‘’Yeah. It’s just the backlash of using my power.’’ Chloe says, her voice hoarse, ‘’Thanks for defending me.’’

She walks away, Theo nods, ‘’You’re welcome.’’ He turns to Alex, ‘’Alright it’s time. It’s time to end him once and for all.’’ His eyes flash blue, and blue energy crackles around his body. ‘’This is the final one. I have to use all my energy and punch his chest; I need to overflow it to my fist.’’ Theo thinks, ‘’Right.’’

His fist flashes white, blue energy crackling, ‘’It’s your end, Alex. It’s the end of you terrorizing people!’’ Theo blasts at Alex using the jet boots, he goes faster than ever, and uses sense of sight to find his regeneration source, ‘’It’s the chest. I knew it.’’

He is in a punching stance, ‘’It’s over!’’ Alex looks up, still burnt to a crisp. And Theo punches his chest, using all his energy, the punch is massive and causes large shockwave ripples, forming a large blue explosion that sends the both of them flying, Theo flips and hits the burnt Alex on the large golden pole on the school. Alex’s body tears and breaks. His arms, legs and head all burst and are on the ground, his body burnt and sandy. Red mist starts forming and surrounding him.

Theo is relieved, ‘’We did it.’’ He turns to the others, ‘’Guys, we did I— ‘’

‘’Did you?’’ Alex asks in a demonic voice. Theo freezes, he slowly turns around, ‘’You’re not dead?’’

‘’I’m never dead, newbie! You only destroyed my red web, which to be fair was useless.’’ Alex smirks. His chest still standing, his hands follow him and jump to his arms. His head also jumps on his neck, ‘’Don’t get cocky!’’ He shouts as he taps the ground, red energy crackles and blasts Theo away, Theo blasts toward Alex, trying to kick him but Alex grabs his neck, ‘’I’ve had enough of your games, kid.’’

Theo tries to get out, stuck. ‘’Stop priding yourself into thinking you can land a hit on me. That’s the mindset that will make you fail. Instead lie on the ground, dead. While I send you to your grave!’’ Alex shouts, manic.

‘’Theo!’’ Charlie runs at him, blasting fire strings, but red orbs surround them and explode, sending Charlie away, screaming, ‘’You damn bastard!’’

Alex is on Theo’s neck, ‘’I guess you had a fun life. I guess. Time to end you.’’ He squeezes Theo’s neck, making him choke trying to get out. Alex continues laughing as Theo tries pulling his hand away, ‘’It’s over!’’

Alex squeezes it more, making Theo cough and slowly about to pass out, eyes faltering, ‘’I failed…to land a hit on him. Bye. Thanks for everything.’’

‘’Don’t give up, kid!’’

Theo turns around, and sees James standing, purple energy crackling, ‘’You know why? Because you managed to create the biggest opening in his chest. This is the key to defeating Alex; this is the key to stopping his regeneration.’’

‘’James?!’’ Theo shouts shocked.

James looks cleaner than ever, though filled with many bandages patched to him. ‘’Time to go to bed, younger brother.’’ He says smugly, as he forms into a purple missile, blasting in full speed at Alex.

Alex stares at James shocked, ‘’Those tendrils should have killed him! How is he still surviving? Did someone help him? Have I gone insane? How— ‘’

James continues blasting, using all the energy into this missile. And in the moment because Alex is in shock, his grip loosens. Theo manages to blast out, and as a blue trail kicks Alex to James, flying.

‘’Thanks, James.’’ Theo says, before dropping on the ground, bleeding.

Alex is in high shock; he doesn’t know what to do. So, he releases more tendrils, but James dodges all of them and flies straight into Alex’s chest.

‘’This is over, little brother! Team Aureole, lend me your strength!’’ James shouts in determination.

‘’I won’t let you die, Lord Alex!’’

James’s eyes widen. He then sees Crane in front, defending Alex, ‘’I will be taken instead!’’

‘’Wait…what?’’ Team Aureole all looks in shock.
