It seemed like an eternity, while she was climbing the ultra-modern elevator to the top floor of St. Damon's Hospital, she unconsciously glanced into the top-quality crystal mirror to her left. She liked what she saw.

A young, elegantly dressed business woman of medium height and athletic build. Everything on her screamed quality and expensiveness. Boots with the heel of a famous fashion magician, a chain of very rare purple gold around the ankles, a knee-length skirt, a light blue blazer. A gold watch, a bracelet made of a combination of platinum and titanium with inlay details of a dragon that seems to be looking at you with its ruby-red eyes.

 She unconsciously stroked the dragon's head with her well-groomed finger and ran along the bright green scales. Her blood-red nails tapped on the clock. It was past midnight. She took another look at her reflection. Black, shiny hair framed the face with regular features, high cheekbones, full juicy lips- she unconsciously, sensual licked her lips. If she had anyone to see her in those moments, he would have felt a wave of lust when the pink tip peeked between her lips as if created for kissing and nibbling. And her eyes… Large, blue like the azure sea, they attracted attention at first sight and captured the watcher to drown in their depth.

With a slight jerk, the elevator finally stopped, a beep sounded, and the door began to open silently. Hilda looked at her watch again.

You are so stupid, less than two minutes have passed and you are on the 175th floor of the most modern hospital in the country, she thought, and you are just shaking for no reason. 

Yet the nervousness made her heart beat faster, as a multitude of thoughts swarmed through her head. Everything was common in this rain-soaked city. It had it’s fair share of excitements, catastrophes, love, death, life - everything happened at the same time.

She returned to what happened a few hours before.
