Dem shouldn’t beat himself up for freezing when he’s being uncomfortably touched. Fight, flight, and freeze are all normal nervous system reactions to have, but I know how unnerving it is to feel helpless in those moments :(
I’m so glad Tane was there to help him! It’s cute how different they are. Demon tries to see the best in people while Tane has a harder time giving that same level of grace. It just shows how much your upbringing can have an impact on how you view the world.
