Calamity Through My Eyes

Chapter 11 : Initial A Rank

Turning his attention away from the arena floor, Frederick looked at the stunned evaluator and issued a clear directive.

"Issue her a peak B-rank Sire badge immediately. With a solid foundation and a skill of this caliber, it is an absolute guarantee that she will break through to the A-rank in the near future."

His gaze swept across the rest of the awestruck Association staff. A wide, impressed grin spreading across his rugged face...

"Congratulations, Archeon City," Frederick announced warmly. "You've just gained yourselves a future A-rank SIRE."

The observation balcony erupted into hushed, excited murmurs. Everyone's eyes glittered with awe as they gazed down at Lana, the future of their city.

Down in the arena, she was still standing calmly amidst the pack of deadly Shadow Panthers, gently rubbing their massive heads as if they were nothing more than overgrown house cats.

Breaking the spell of excitement, the receptionist stepped up beside the main evaluator. "Sir," she said respectfully, bringing his attention back to reality, "we still have one person left for re-evaluation today."

The main evaluator blinked, pulling his eyes away from the incredible scene below, and nodded quickly. "Yes, of course. Bring that person in immediately."

"He's already here," the receptionist replied, turning and pointing directly at Aron.

Frederick's eyes drifted over to Aron, his earlier curiosity flaring up again as he looked at the boy and the silent skeletal assistant still perched on his shoulder.

"Let's arrange his base attribute tests first," Frederick suggested, his deep voice carrying a hint of anticipation.

The main evaluator nodded in immediate agreement. Down below, the automated systems engaged, issuing a recall command.

Following Lana's silent orders, the Shadow Panthers obediently retreated back into their containment chamber, and the heavy steel doors sealed shut behind them with a resounding thud.

A few moments later, Lana walked back through the doors of the observation balcony, her face flushed with pride and lingering excitement.

As she took her spot beside the others, the evaluators formally guided Aron out of the room and escorted him down toward the massive, now empty testing grounds.

Up on the balcony, as everyone watched Aron walk out onto the vast arena floor, the receptionist approached Lana with a hesitant expression.

"Miss," she asked quietly, glancing down at the boy. "Do you know him well?"

Lana nodded, her eyes also fixed on Aron. "Yes. He is a classmate of mine."

The receptionist fidgeted with her tablet, looking conflicted.

"Umm... I don't exactly know how to say this, but a few minutes ago, when I assumed you two were just wasting your money on these re-evaluations, he just smiled and told me to wait and see. And then you..."

Lana looked at the receptionist for a moment before giving a slow, meaningful nod. "Yes. He knew about my new skill, and even my exact attribute points, long before I stepped into that arena."

"My assistant told me that he has an unbelievably strong connection with his own assistant. It was able to read my details and whisper them to him."

A few feet away, Frederick, who had been completely focused on watching Aron prepare for the physical test, suddenly snapped his head toward the two girls. His sharp eyes widened in sheer astonishment.

So his instincts had been absolutely correct.

He had already sensed that the boy possessed a highly unusual, almost tangible bond with that little skeleton.

But for a personal assistant to peer into another SIRE's status window and relay that classified information to its host? That was a terrifying ability, something completely unheard of even at the highest levels of the Association.

Frederick narrowed his eyes, leaning closer to the reinforced glass as he stared down at Aron with burning curiosity. Just what kind of monstrous potential was this seemingly ordinary kid hiding?

Down on the arena floor, the heavy duty strength testing machine hummed to life, its massive mechanical arm locking into place. The main evaluator stepped back and looked at Aron.

"Alright, young man. Punch that target with the absolute highest force you can muster."

Aron gave a calm, focused nod. Taking a deep breath, he braced his feet against the floor and drew his right fist back. Gathering his raw power, he unleashed a straight punch directly into the center of the target.

BOOM!

The impact rang out like a thunderclap. Immediately, the digital monitor above the machine began to beep frantically as the numbers rapidly spiraled upward:

[FORCE CAPACITY EVALUATION

100 kg...
300 kg...
700 kg...
1,000 kg...
2,000 kg...
3,000 kg! ]

In this world's rigid system parameters, 1 attribute point was exactly equal to 10 kg of physical force.

The moment the digital counter slammed into 3,000 kg, indicating a terrifying 300 points in raw Strength, the machine operator's hands froze over the console, completely paralyzed.

Up on the observation balcony, a suffocating, dead silence fell over the room. The evaluators, the receptionist, and Lana all stared down at Aron in absolute horror.

Frederick's eyes narrowed to sharp slits, his hands instantly clutching the balcony railing so tightly the reinforced metal began to groan under his powerful grip.

Lana had just shocked the entire room by proving she was a future A-rank prospect. But Aron? This ordinary-looking classmate of hers wasn't a prospect. He was already a literal, fully realized A-rank SIRE....

That strength meter already indicated a level that no B-rank SIRE could achieve even if they put all their attribute points into strength. Every stat has a fixed upper limit for a SIRE.

"Three... three thousand kilograms..." one of the evaluators stammered, his voice trembling violently as he stared at the readout. "Three hundred stat points in physical strength alone. It's... it's an Initial A-rank Sire!"

The main evaluator didn't even wait for the remaining tests. Forgetting all protocol, he rushed straight onto the arena floor toward Aron. His eyes were wide and glittering with fanatical excitement.

"Are... are you really an Initial A-rank SIRE ?!" he gasped, breathlessly staring at the young man.

Before Aron could even open his mouth to answer, the little skeleton perched on his shoulder crossed its bony arms and let out a sharp, venomous sneer.

"Stop asking such stupid questions!" the skeleton clacked its jaw mockingly. "Is it not your sole duty to evaluate and verify a SIRE's status? Did you not just see the numbers with your own pathetic eyes?"

"Humph... these humans. No matter how many eras pass, they never change. Always blinding themselves to the absolute truth standing right in front of them!"

Aron just offered the frantic evaluator a calm, half amused smile. "No need to stress. You'll know the truth once we finish checking the rest of my status, right?"

The main evaluator nodded mechanically, his hands trembling as he gestured for the assistant operators to reset the testing arrays.

The subsequent trials began in rapid succession. One after another, Aron ran through the remaining physical and mental testing devices.

The results flashed onto the grand monitors overhead, sending fresh waves of excitement through the watching crowd...

Spirit Resonance: Peak B-Rank
Stamina Endurance: Peak B-Rank
Agility Velocity: Peak B-Rank

In the established laws of the Association, a standard B-rank Sire possessed a strict, absolute ceiling of 1,000 total combined attribute points.

If a Sire's cumulative stats breached that boundary, it meant their soul and vessel had successfully broken through the evolutionary threshold.

They were, by definition, an A-rank powerhouse.

Now, only his Mana Capacity remained to be verified.

Two technicians carefully wheeled out a massive, pristine Mana Stone, placing it directly in front of Aron. The crystal hummed with latent, unstable energy.

The moment Aron casually rested his palm against the smooth surface, the entire cavernous hall was instantly illuminated.

A blinding, pure blue radiance erupted from the stone, reflecting off the reinforced glass and forcing everyone to shield their eyes for a moment.

When the light finally receded, the digital display chimed softly, locking in the final verdict of 300 Mana Points.

Up in the balcony, everyone's eyes lit up with profound reverence. With his Strength and Mana both sitting at a monstrous 300 points, combined with his other core attributes firmly holding at the absolute peak of the B-rank tier, Aron's grand total sat comfortably at nearly 1,100 stat points.

There was no longer any room for denial. Standing before them was a genuine, fully realized Initial A-rank Sire.

From the observation deck, Frederick Bolt's deep, booming laughter echoed throughout the stadium, shattering the stunned silence.

"Hahahaha!"

" Brilliant! "

"Archeon City has given me a truly massive surprise during this trip!" He clapped his hands together, his face split into a wide, exhilarated grin.

"To think a single B-rank city branch could produce a verified Initial A-rank SIRE and a future A-rank SIRE on the exact same day!"

He turned toward the stunned evaluators.

"Congratulations to everyone here," Frederick announced proudly. "Your city has just gained a true pillar of strength."

The main evaluator patted Aron's shoulder, laughing heartily with a mixture of relief and pure excitement. "Hahaha, you have given us a truly monumental surprise today, young man!"

Aron, a transmigrator from Earth, awakened a trash F-rank skill after arriving in this world. During his ten years in Erdalon, he never received any golden finger or special cheat.

Ten years later, the world faced its greatest calamity. When Aron witnessed even SSS-rank powerhouses losing the war, a brazen idea suddenly crossed his mind—to humiliate an SSS-rank Dark Dragon before his death.

Without hesitation, he spat directly onto the huge face of the Dark Dragon, Verradon, and was immediately met with a horrific death.

Just before dying, however, he awakened the Ultimate Face-Slapping System and regressed back to the past—to the very moment he had first transmigrated into this world.

This is the journey of Aron as he rises from a worthless nobody to save the world and unravel the countless secrets hidden within it.

Many years later, Aron stood above the multiverse, looking down upon all living beings.

"...Did I forget to spit on the Universe Lord?"

A grin spread across his face.

"Let me go spit on his face too!"
