Well, as you know I've been buried in trying to set up my new place, which is a very old place!🏡 This week it's involved a lot of deep-cleaning of secondhand furniture, and searching up fun questions like, "Environmentally friendly way to remove extremely large ant's nest from my backyard?" It's been a lot! Lately once I'm done with work for the day I've had just enough energy to eat something, maybe play one run in Hades II, and collapse into bed.

But you know what! It's worth crawling back out and getting out my megaphone (my metaphorical megaphone, my real one was violently confiscated by my roommates) to shout about how THE INKIES AWARDS ARE COMING UP! WOOHOO, THE INKIES!✨📚 The awesome celebration thrown by Tapas to highlight their creators!

I think it's so cool that they do this. I mean, I'm still feeling pretty shy and flustered and flattered about y'all nominating me last time, so. It really does make the creators feel good, to put it mildly. Last year I sat staring at Soft Touch on the nominated series page, in total disbelief, for so long. I'm betting y'all would laugh if you knew, or if you heard the undignified sounds I made. I really gotta thank both Tapas and you kickass readers for that joyous experience.🧡

You can nominate different series in different categories, if you want, highlight all your faves! Then you can come back here and leave a comment telling me how to gently get rid of the ants. Seriously. What do I do about the ants? They're slowly building their way closer and closer to the house. Please help.
