Long, long ago, five heroes were born with powers beyond reason. Gathered by the king of the Cardinal Kingdom with a single mission : to protect the people of this world from unknown threats. 

Aron Huchen, a boy from a ruined village designated as the hero of creation,

Scarlet ashwyn, the hero of destruction, 

Cedrix Obsidian, the  hero of wisdom, 

Aurelia Solis, a girl from the same village as Aron, designated as the Hero of Balance, 

and finally, 

Jean Rivers, a knight from the Cardinal Kingdom, designated as the Hero of Protection

The five heroes slayed demons and monsters alike, aiding in the advancement of the kingdom, and their names were known throughout the world. Even so, the stories told : the four heroes were consumed by their powers, spreading fear throughout the world. Noticing her companions' corruption, Jean sealed the four of them in a cave which would be named the “Cave of Directions”. As the threats disappeared, the kingdom of Cardinal lived in peace.

Or at least…
