As the darkened sky covered the world, the looming threat slowly approached the kingdom, a man in his lonesome approached the gates. 

“HALT!”, a guard warned. 

He stopped. An odd expression was on his face. 

“Sta..STATE YOUR NAME”

He was taken aback.

“Umm…Aron Huchen?”, the figure said. 

The guards stepped back. They hastily pulled out their weapons. 

Aron sighed.

“YOU CORRUPT HERO!” 

“W…WE WON’T LET YOU DESTROY THIS PLACE”

Aron facepalmed. 

“Even  after so long, you guys are still scared”

Letting out another sigh. 

“Guys, I just want to meet your leader, I am not gonna hurt anyone-”

Suddenly, the sound of a horn was heard. 

“Was that the Horn of warning?”, Aron said.  

Several more guards came out from the castle walls with their weapons out. Ballistas were prepared, aiming towards him.  

“And those are anti-demon ballitas, huh, didn’t expect them to hold out this long, but I do see-”

“SHUT IT YOU FOUL BEAST!”  

Aron gave a concerned look. He sighed.

“Guys, I won’t waste your time, I just need to talk to your captain, Jean Rivers”

“DON’T BE FOOLED MEN, CHARGE”

“Why do they never listen?” 

One of the guards swung his sword, however his face would be on the ground not long after. Another tried to charge, but would eventually be flung to a hay bale. 

“Guys, seriously, stop, I don’t want to hurt any of you”, he said as he redirected another guard’s attack. Every guard was eventually disarmed and some decided to run back to the castle. 

As the loudest and the last guard decided to jump him, a shield appeared on Aron’s wrist, halting the attack. He then clenched his fist. A gauntlet appeared. 

“Sorry for this”, He said nonchalantly.

He punched the guard, yet there was no impact. However, the guard would be stripped of his armor. 

“I am sorry, but you guys-” 

“SHOOT HIM”

Aron looked up and threw his hands to the side. His weapons disappeared.

“Well, I-’

“HALT”, A familiar voice called. 

His eyes widened. A smile appeared on his face.

“Jean”.

She walked outside the gates with someone beside her. Eventually, she stopped at a distance. The person beside her was shaking and tried to pull his blade out. 

“Jean, finally, these guys are crazy, our teammates too, they are going nuts about revenge and stuff!”

He let out a sigh. She kept walking. 

“Hey, that armor I made seemed to hold on well”

She halted.

“Oh yeah, I wanted to-”

She then pulled out her sword. 

His eyes widened.

“Is…there a monster behind me?”,  he asked. He turned around. Nothing, not a single thing. 

He looked back. Her hands were shaking. 

“Jean…is that why…you sealed us?” 

Silence surrounded them.

“I…see…so, that’s how it is”

She looked him in the eyes. Even with her blade drawn, the smile on his face didn’t fade. He took a breath.

“It’s okay Jean, I understand, I will be…waiting in that place, kay, so…make sure to…do your job and…protect the people”

He then turned around and walked away. As he did, a girl approached him.

“Hey, Where are you going?”

“hmm? Home”

“But, what about her?”

“I got my answer, I am going home”

The girl looked  towards Jean and back at Aron. She followed him. 

Jean relaxed her stance. Her disciple walked towards her. 

“Was that…the corrupt hero?”

“Yes”

“Then…why does…he look so lonely?”

Jean bit her lip. 

“OI JEAN!”, a loud voice from above shouted. 

She looked up, seeing a flying figure. 

“REMEMBER ME?”, she said as she flew down towards Jean. 

She prepared a punch. Fire engulfed her fist. However, it would be blocked nonchalantly. 

“SO? HOW DOES IT FEEL? YOU SOLD US OUT FOR SOME TITLE?”, She said with a wicked smile on her face. Jean parried her away, causing her to lose her balance. 

“SHOOT”, someone from the castle walls shouted. A couple of bolts were shot. However…as the dust settled, she would disappear.

“Scarlet, I always tell you to look at around you/”

“YEAH YEAH, WHATEVER CEDRIX” 

He sighed and brought her down.

“It’s nice meeting you again, Jean”

He adjusted his glasses. 

“I DON’T NEED YOUR HELP CEDRIX! DON’T INTERFERE!” 

He sighed.

“I won’t”, He then noticed the boy beside her.

“It seems they are eager to replace us, no matter”. 

Both Jean and the boy prepared their stance. Several knights from the kingdom then joined in. 

Scarlet smirked, “I AM GONNA DESTROY ALL OF YOU!”
