At closing hours, 

[Sigh, I am so exhausted] 

"I am off, old man", Lei said as he wore his helmet and put back his stuff. 

"Yeah, yeah, Hei, before you go, if you need anyone in your life I can recommend you my grand-"

"Bye old man", Lei started driving quickly. 

[I need to prepare dinner and probably need to help Kai with his homework]

After a while, he finally arrived home, 

[I probably need to do the laundry too...]

He opened the door. 

"BRO CMON, IT'S STARTING", He said as he started tugging harder. 

"What? What is starting?", Lei said as he looked at TV.

"Masked Hopper 2", Kai said as he started jumping

[Masked...Hopper]

Lei froze for a moment. 

"Hei Dad! Did you see that? Masked Hopper jumped so high-"

"AND KICK THAT VILLAIN TO A PULP", his dad continued

"Do you think...I can be like that one day dad?"

"of course you can" 

Lei then noticed a slight burnt smell and went inside.

"You're cooking?"

"Well, Kai got hungry so I decided to cook", Mei said.

[Oh no...]

"BRO BRO, CMON WATCH WITH ME", Kai said.

"Kai, give big bro a rest first, he just got back"

"Okay...", Kai said in defeat as he started staring at the TV screen intently.

Mei then places dinner in front of Kai. 

Kai then started eating.

"So...how is it?"

"It's burnt"

Mei then laid her head on top of the table and said "Oh come on bro, I did-"

"But...it's good"

Lei smiled.

"By the way, where's mom?", Lei asked.

"She's probably still at the TV station, she said she had to finish something up"

"I...see"

After finishing his meal, Lei did the dishes. 

[Tomorrow, Kai needs to submit his Homework and Mei is probably busy for the test-]

"Don't worry about it big bro", she said as she touched his shoulder.

"Huhh?"

"I will help Kai and you don't need to worry about little old me, I am smarter than I look"

[You always say that]

"Sure you are..."

She then started hitting him,

"HEY HEY QUIT IT! OW OW"

[She sure hits hard for a wome-]

She then pinched his shoulders.

"OW! Hey!",

"That's what you get for teasing me"

"Okay okay, fine"

Mei then left with Kai to their room.

"Hei..Mei"

"Yeah?"

"Thank...you"

She blinked for a moment before smiling smugly and then she left. 

Suddenly the door opened, 

"I am home", a familiar voice said. 

"Mother, let me get that", Lei said as he carried her bags.

"Thank you, Lei," she said. She then sat down on the kitchen table and started eating.

"Wait, that's-"

"This is delicious, did you make this Lei"

"...Not really"

[I guess they are not so different]

He then hung her bags and something fell. He grabbed it.

[What's this? Is this some kind of pharmaceutical company? and they're ... OFFERING MONEY?]

"What do you have there, Lei?", His mother asked

"Huh? It's just a brochure of somesort"

Her eyes widened. Her smile disappeared. 

"Mother, what's wro-"

"Lei, give that to me!"

[Why is this in Mother's bag? Don't tell me...she planned on doing this herself?]

"So, you are planning to-"

"No, I wasn't, someone slipped it in my bag"

They both looked at each other with distrust. 

"I don't know who put that there, but Lei...not them, anyone but them"

[What is she talking about?]

She then sighed and hugged him. 

"Whatever you do, don't do what I think you're gonna do", 

Lei sighed and said, "Okay mother, I will throw this away"

"Now, that's my boy", She said as she went to her room. 

Lei went to his room.

He looked at the brochure on his hand. 

He sighed and pulled on his drawer. He took a watch-like device out and wore it.

He looked at the family photo on the desk.
