The next day... "Ugh", Lei mumbled as he woke up on his bed. His mom was beside him, sleeping, helding his hand. [Mother...] He caressed her hair. His mother then woke up. "Lei", She said as she hugged him tight. "I...am sorry mother, I should have listened to you" "Yeah you should! Do you know how worried I was!?" She held him tighter "Even if we have problems...I still don't want my son to throw away his life for this family" Lei's hands trembled. His heart raced. Tears started to well up. He hugged her back. "I...am sorry, I am sorry I made you worried mother" "Now, you rest up, leave today to me and your siblings" She wiped away her tears and walked to the door. Before leaving, she stopped. "Lei..." "You're not above the family" "You're with us", "Don't you dare forget that" She closed the door. Lei sighed and held his head. [What...happened to me yesterday? was I...that thing?] He looked at the watch on his wrist. [Father...Why did you leave me this broken watch?] He tapped on the watch and it...oddly turned on [What? I thought...It had no batteries] He then looked at his fingers and saw sparks of electricity. [What....what is this...] He rubbed his fingers. [This...feels...odd] He then placed his hands together and then saw several electrical lines. [Hmmm...Maybe...I can...] He adjusted his fingers, forming shapes with the lines. [This...is pretty cool] He made squares and circles. [What if I...] He then made a house and several other complex shapes. A smile was on his face. Suddenly, a loud crash could be heard down stairs. He stopped, the electricity from his fingers dissipated. His smile turned to fear. [Oh no...don't tell me!]
