Lei rushed downstairs to the living room.

His eyes widened. 

Kai was on the floor wearing a pair of odd-looking boots and a familiar looking belt"

Mei was wearing some odd-looking gloves

But more than that, a box of junk was in front of him.

"Ow...THAT WAS AWESOME", Kai said.

"What...what is all this?", Lei asked in panic.

"Oh bro, we just found this box of your old inventions, I wanted to-"

"THESE THINGS ARE SO COOL! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD MASKED HOPPER'S BELT BRO!"

Lei's hand trembled. 

"WHAT WERE YOU ALL THINKING!", Lei shouted.

Mei was taken aback.

Silence then creeped in. 

"Bro, I-"

"WHAT IF KAI GOT HURT! I TOLD YOU THAT THESE ARE NOT TOYS!"

Mei started tearing up.

Her hands trembled.

"I-"

"STOP BIG BRO", Kai stepped in between them.

"Stay out of this, Kai!!"

"NO BIG SIS WAS JUST SHOWING ME YOUR COOL GADGETS!"

"BUT YOU GOT HURT"

"YEAH SO? I AM FINE, AREN'T I?"

Lei then covered his face and kneeled down.

"UGHHHH, JUST GIVE ME THOSE STUFF, I AM GONNA THROW THEM AWAY FOR GOOD!"

"I HATE YOU!", Kai said as he took off the boots he wore and went back to his room.

Lei then sighed and looked at Mei. She was wiping away her tears. 

"Mei, I am-"

"I know...you're just...trying to protect us", She said as she left.

[...I am such a jerk]

He started putting back all the stuff back to the box.

Suddenly someone touched his shoulder. 

"I left for 10 minutes and here you are, not getting any rest and fighting with your siblings"

He sighed and said, "We didn't fight...I just-"

Suddenly his phone buzzed.

He picked it up.

"What is it, Old man? I am busy with something here"

"I need your help with something, I need you to come now"

[Seriously? NOW?]

"Ughh, fine, But you better pay me extra"

"Sheesh. kids these day-"

He ended the phone call. 

Lei sighed and said, "Mother, I-"

"I know, let me handle it, you just go to Old man Manson"

"Thank you...mother"
