Arriving at CARDINAL, 

He walked towards the entrance that was not guarded. 

He was stopped. 

"Hand them over kid, your bag", One of them said

"I am here for my siblings"

'That don't matter, give your bag to us"

Suddenly their ear piece rang. 

"Don't worry boys, none of his junks can scare us"

"Boss said you can go in"

Lei then went inside. 

"He is waiting for you down stairs", The secretary said. 

Lei went to the elevator, pressed the button with no number. 

He pulled on his gloves. 

He then adjusted his new glasses. 

After a while, the elevator door then opened,

"What's with the glasses? another junk of yours?" 

Lei sighed. 

"Do you have what I want?"

Lei nodded. 

"Good, and as promised...", Elliot said as he snapped his fingers. 

Kai and Mei were restrained, there were guards beside them.

"KAI! MEI!"

"BIG BRO!"

[Thank god they are okay]

"Let them go!"

"No, no, throw your bag away and give me the artifact, then I let them go" 

"...Fine" 

Lei threw his bag towards Mei and Kai. He then took off his watch and threw it to Elliot.

"Okay then"

He grabbed the watch and snapped his fingers. 

Suddenly, Lei was pinned down by one guard.

"WE...WE HAD A DEAL!"

" "Had" past tense, but...you know too much I can't let you or your brother and sister leave"

Elliot then pressed the button on his watch and took out the shard. 

"Ahh, here you are my sweet"

"So, what? you kidnap my siblings just for that? A stupid shard?"

"You are as stubborn as your father, like him, you don't understand what science means" 

He then placed the shard on a tray and several wires bind to the shard. 

"I will sacrifice anyone, for the future of humanity, your father was just one of them" 

The machine started to power up. 

"I am doing this for humanity, I will pluck off everyone if it means I can guarantee humanity's success"

Suddenly, the machine turned off.

Elliot's eyes widened

"Huh?, what...what happened?"

Suddenly a sound of a zap could be heard. 

"What...what did you do?"

Lei smirked and slowly stood up. The guard that was on top of him was unconscious. 

"There is only one person who can defeat you...that's me", Lei said as he pointed to himself

He then approached Kai and Mei 

As the couple of guards tried to apprehend him, His gloves surged with electricity and shocked the both of them. 

"WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING? GET THEM!"

He freed Kai and Mei.

"THAT WAS SO COOL BIG BRO"

"We need to get out here you two, now take anything from that bag", he said as he tased another guard. 

Unbeknownst to them, Elliot had blitz to the Elevator

Kai rumaged through the bag. 

"No way...NO WAY?!"

Took out a gun with a punching glove on the end 

Kai then proceeded to use it on a guard who got his teeth punched out of him. 

"THIS IS SO COOL", he said as he proceeded to punch anyone getting closer to them.

Mei rummaged through the bag as well and then she pulled out a familiar watch.

"Big bro..."

Lei looked at her, "Trust me"

"Always have". 

She wore the watch and a projection of a shield popped out, blocking one of the guards who tried to sneak up on Kai. 

"Now BOOK IT!".

They then ran to the elevator and Mei used the shield to prevent any projectiles coming to them.

"It's Locked!"

"What do we do"

"We fly", 

"What?", they said in unison.

Lei punched the elevator, creating a hole. He forcefully ripped it open.

He clicked his boots and jet boosters came out.

"Okay you two, hold on tight"

"THIS.IS.SO.COOL!" 

They held on to him. 

"Mei, put the shield above us"

Mei then made the shield face upwards. 

Lei then flew out of the facility, passing all the guards.

The boots then were shot, making them fall outside. 

Lei stood up and saw a mech in front of him. 

From the mech, Elliot's voice could be heard "You think...THIS IS THE END CHEN FAMILY?" 

[Tch...should have expected that]
