My boyfriend is a secret billionaire

The problem solver

The problem solver

Jul 25, 2026

Martin Roy lay perfectly still under the heavy white sheets, forcing his breathing to remain slow, shallow, and entirely rhythmic.

His mind, usually a hyper-efficient corporate computer, was completely blanked by a sudden wave of genuine shock.

I mention the correct room number now, john will see results

Martin reasoned, his thoughts racing behind his closed eyelids, John's thugs will follow me here immediately.

Sara observed even that small detail. She anticipated my moves before I could even make them.

I am still acting as if I am sleeping, but I have no choice.

I have to increase the stakes. The game needs to close.

Outside the heavy wooden doors, John was growing increasingly desperate.

He had spent the last twenty minutes pacing the private wing, peering through glass panels and scanning patient registries.

His phone vibrated with a sharp, frantic text to his boss.

John  *Sir, I checked all room but no use .*

Inside the quiet room, Martin slowly let his eyes flutter open, feigning confusion.

He shifted his gaze toward Raghu, his voice raspy.

"Excuse me... which room number is this room? I don't know where I am."
Raghu looked up from his newspaper, his expression completely blank and innocent.

"To be honest, sir, I don't even know the room number myself."

Martin sat up straighter, his sharp eyes widening in genuine, unscripted shock.

"What? What do you mean you don't even know the room number? Who brought you here then? Why did you come inside this specific room?"

"Sara instructed me to go to the back side of the hospital," Raghu explained with a warm smile, setting his paper down.

"She told me to follow exactly what the nurse said. But that nurse... she literally blindfolded my eyes and had the staff take me inside on a stretcher. When I finally opened my eyes, I was sitting right here in this secret room. I have absolutely no idea where we are in this building."

Martin’s breath hitched in his throat. He stared at Raghu, his mind reeling.

A blindfold? A stretcher? She treated her own father like a high-value asset in a witness protection program just to keep this location a complete secret from anyone tracking them.

Raghu: "If I knew the room number, I would tell you. She pointed out the cause of problems and made them stop."

Trying to regain control of the narrative, Martin leaned forward, narrowing his eyes.

"Can I ask you one thing? How can you trust your daughter so blindly? Do you truly believe she is that intelligent?"

Raghu's face lit up with intense, unyielding pride. "Sir, if anyone creates a problem, her solutions are always different. Her smart moves are something we ordinary humans can't even imagine."

"When she faces a crisis, she doesn't just look at one angle. She will study a problem from a full 360-degree angle. If she sets a trap for you, absolutely no one can escape it. Others every move what they do next."

Martin forced a weak, fragile chuckle, maintaining his act.

"What problem? Why am I here in a secret room anyway?"

"Some dangerous people are actively trying to take your fingerprints illegally," Raghu stated calmly, as if discussing the weather.

"So, Sara wants to help you by hiding you completely. Anyway, sir, do you want to drink some juice or anything? After that, I will sleep."

Martin's jaw tightened. "You just said already that we are in a massive, dangerous problem. How can you possibly sleep so peacefully right now?"

"What do you mean?" Raghu replied, waving his hand dismissively.

"It is only a problem until she is not involved. But since Sara already told me to be fully assured that I won't have any disturbance, I have zero worries."

Martin’s frustration peaked.

He grabbed his phone from the bedside, his fingers flying across the screen as he called John, instantly putting the line on speakerphone so Raghu could hear the chaos outside.

But before John could speak, Raghu’s phone rang loudly.

The caller ID flashed: Sara.

Raghu quickly answered, tapping the speaker button.
"Hello, Sara?"

"Hello, Dad," Sara’s clear, steady voice echoed through the room.

"Did that uncle eat anything yet? How was uncle feeling?"

"One  doubt can I ask that , Sara," Raghu interrupted gently, glancing at Martin.

"I also want to know something, and I will put you on speakerphone so we can all hear. Why did you explicitly mention the room number 504 to the nurse out in the open hallway earlier? If you wanted to keep this room a total secret, why did you shout that number out loud?"

A low, knowing chuckle came through the phone line from Sara’s end.

"Oh, that number?" Sara replied, her tone turning ice-cold and brilliant.

"When I was bringing uncle to this secret room through the service elevator, I observed that his eyelids were twitching. He was fully conscious, Dad.

If uncle heard our actual room number or our security plan, he would definitely tell his family the moment he woke up after waking up. And if his family come, the secret would be leaked to the thugs and follow his family members."

Inside the room, the silence turned absolute.

Martin Roy slowly lowered his phone,
the air completely leaving his lungs.

She hadn't just fooled John, Ravi, and Manu.

She had anticipated that he was faking his unconsciousness.

She had fed him a fake room number directly to his face, knowing he would instantly leak it to his family.

The grandmaster hadn't just been outplayed—he had been completely dismantled by a 360-degree counter-trap.

(She thinks at a micro level, even considering details like a patient calling their family. She is correct. If those thugs are real, they would definitely look for opportunities like this. The second they follow, their family is finished.)

John informed Ravi and Manu to be at the hospital gate.
