"Hi Uncle, how are you feeling? Better?"

Sara’s voice cut through the phone speaker, calm and steady. It pierced the heavy, suffocating silence of the room like a cold blade.

"Don't worry about anything. Just rest. Dad, okay, bye. Both of you get some sleep and don't wake up until tonight."

"Okay, Sara," Raghu replied softly.

The line clicked, and the call went dead.

Martin Roy lay frozen beneath the heavy sheets, a sudden, piercing chill gripping his chest. In that quiet click of the phone, his absolute corporate arrogance—the fierce pride that had built empires—shattered into a thousand jagged pieces.

He didn't waste a single second. Keeping his trembling hands hidden beneath the thick blanket, his fingers frantically hammered a furious, desperate text to his assistant.

Martin:* John, search every single room, including the operating theaters. You have to find me tonight. Also, find out if the nurse and doctor who helped her are still in the building.*

Outside, within the dizzying, maze-like corridors of the hospital, John stared at his glowing screen, his heart pounding in a rhythm of pure panic. He quickly typed back, his thumbs flying across the keyboard.

John: *The nurse and doctor who helped Sara aren't here, sir. Their morning shift begins tomorrow, so they won't return until then. She is one step ahead of us. She knew our people would try to blackmail or threaten anyone who helped her hide you, so she deliberately used the night shift staff. Their home addresses are miles away. Even if we leave right now, it will be past 11 PM by the time we locate them.*

Martin’s jaw clenched so hard the bone ached. His breath came in shallow, ragged gasps as he read the glowing lines.

She hadn't just hidden him. She had systematically, ruthlessly cleared the board of any witnesses who could be interrogated, bribed, or broken by his team.

Martin: She planned this well, but we are running out of time. Search the entire hospital. It's our only option left.

Receiving the final, desperate command, John mobilized Ravi and Manu.

They spent the next hour in a frantic, sweating blur, bypassing operating rooms, rushing past storage units, and slipping through restricted medical wings. Finally, they stumbled down a dim, narrow hallway at the very edge of the building.

The room at the far end was covered in thick layers of undisturbed dust, choked on all sides by old shelving and broken boxes. To any passing eye, it looked exactly like an abandoned storage unit.

Suddenly, a heavy hand clamped down on John's shoulder. A burly hospital security guard glared at them with deep suspicion, his hand resting tightly on the heavy baton at his hip.

"If I catch you loitering here or searching any more rooms, I’m calling the police," the guard boomed.

"Sorry, we... we are just looking for a patient," John stammered, stepping back nervously.

The moment the guard escorted them away from the wing, John frantically pulled out his phone, his face completely drained of color.

John:* Sir, I don't think you are even in the main hospital area.  We already saw restricted area too .That security guard almost attacked us. What is your plan?*

 Martin read the text.  No one know room where he was.

The confusion in his mind twisted into a tight knot of cold, suffocating dread. He looked over at Raghu, who was casually folding his phone and tucking it away.

"Raghu, I want to go outside for a moment," Martin croaked, his voice raw as he tested the perimeter.

Raghu didn't even look up.

 "That's impossible, sir. The outside door is locked tight. Only the doctor knows the electronic passcode, and he has already left that code is strictly for staff. He won't be back until tomorrow morning. "

The phone slid from Martin's numb fingers, landing heavily on the mattress.

The realization hit him like a physical blow, leaving him completely breathless. 

Sara was thinking like a seasoned professional, sealing every single exit for his men. Since his team didn't know the doctor's address, they couldn't force their way in, and they couldn't reach him.

The trap was absolute.

It could not be decoded, bypassed, or broken through—not even by his multi-billion-dollar empire. The grandmaster hadn't just been outplayed; he was physically locked inside a cage of his own making.

Swallowing the last bitter remnants of his pride, Martin picked up his phone one last time and typed a short, hollow message to his assistant.

Martin:* John, you and the others go home. Don't waste your energy. I am locked behind an electronic security door.*

The line went completely silent.

The powerful patriarch of Roy Enterprises lay back against the pillows, staring up at the blank, dusty ceiling in a state of absolute, speechless awe. Sara had secured a perfect checkmate.

Then, exactly ten minutes later, Sara’s name flashed on Raghu's phone once more.
