i dont really know about mental stuff and i hated Bakugo since the biggening of the anime to the end, but imma just say, i have a feeling Bakugo lashed out bc he really felt guilty of what happened to Deku, as a kid Bakugo laughed that Deku didnt get in UA, but the more he thinks about it, the more he realized he was such an asshole, that feeling never goes away, then randomly Deku showed up smiling ear to ear, having daughter having a quirk, and looked happy as ever, Bakugo never moved on, Deku did, Bakugo felt like he wasted years of his life feeling like shit just to find out the person he felt guilty about didnt even care what he want to say, the "why are you here?" with the condescending look broke him, he wasnt pissed at Deku he pissed at himself, but idk i aint a phycologist
