DRESSED TO KILL

WHAT'S DOWN THERE? 2

WHAT'S DOWN THERE? 2

Jun 01, 2026

By lunchtime, Emily and Felix had become an inseparable duo. Emily remained completely attached to Felix’s arm in the university cafeteria, totally forgetting that her three powerful older brothers were currently turning the city upside down trying to find him. Felix sat with a cute pout, sipping a juice box.
"Felix, you have no idea how stressful my life is!" Emily slammed her hands on the table, whining dramatically. "I have this amazing university band, right? We’re supposed to perform at the massive upcoming Music Festival on campus. But my stupid, elite brothers refuse to come watch me! Richard is too busy with stocks, Luke says he only cares about choreography, and Derick has a football match! They are so annoying!"
"Ugh, typical boyband behavior," Felix rolled his eyes playfully. "Ignore them, Emily. You don’t need their massive egos ruining your stage anyway."
"I know, right?" Emily sighed, slouching in her seat. "But it gets worse. Our main rapper just caught a horrible flu and dropped out! We are completely stranded for the festival. Wait... Felix... can you rap?"
Felix smirked, tapping his chin with a dangerously handsome confidence. "Bestie, please. According to my older sister Miya, I am a literal prodigy. I am great at absolutely everything. Dancing, combat analytics, fashion styling, rapping—I master it all. Except cooking. I will literally burn a bowl of cereal."
"A multi-talented king! Oh my god, you have to join my band! Come over to my house this weekend for a tryout! Please, please, please!" Emily gasped, her eyes sparkling with pure joy.
Felix sweated slightly, remembering the terrifying blush on Richard and the chaotic bed kiss with Luke. "Go to your house...? The Destiano estate? Uh... let me think about it."
Later that afternoon, Felix walked into his very first introductory art class. The students were all assigned to sketch a live marble model in the center of the room. While the other students were struggling with basic anatomy, Felix’s elite assassin vision kicked in. He calculated angles, distances, and shadows with the precision of a computer tracking a target. His charcoal pencil flew across the paper with blinding speed and fluid grace.
By the end of the hour, the professor stopped right behind Felix’s easel. His jaw completely dropped.
"¡Dios mío! This is magnificent!" the professor exclaimed loudly, drawing the attention of the whole room. "The precision! The effortless depth! Class, look at this masterpiece! Young man, your technique is flawless. I am officially offering you the main exhibition spot for the upcoming University Fine Arts Festival!"
The entire classroom burst into whispers, staring at Felix like he was some kind of legendary genius. Felix just blinked his big, rosy pink eyes, looking incredibly cute and confused. "Wow. School is actually way too easy. I should get a bonus from the Association for this," he muttered to himself.

The campus bells chimed as school officially closed for the day. Felix walked out of the grand stone archway, his pastel-yellow sweater shifting in the warm Madrid breeze. Emily sprinted up to him, instantly locking her arm back with his.
"Class is over! Yay! Now, Felix, you promised you'd show me where you live. Let’s go get some food, I’m starving!" Emily beamed brightly.
"Perfect timing, Emily! My older sister Miya just opened her brand-new, high-class pastry boutique right down the street," Felix smiled, his rosy lips curling into a goofy grin. "Let’s head to the bakery! I’ll make her give us the premium macaroons for free."
They happily strolled down the wealthy avenue together, completely unaware that this innocent bakery trip was about to cause a monumental collision.
The bell above the glass door chimed musically as they stepped inside Le Chic Artisan, and their jaws completely dropped. The boutique looked absolutely spectacular. Thanks to Felix's design notes and Miya's meticulous planning, the bakery was a visual dream. Marble countertops stretched beneath towering crystal chandeliers. High-end glass displays showcased tiers of glittering macaroons, gold-leaf eclairs, and artisanal cakes that looked like museum sculptures. The entire space was decorated with fresh pastel roses, radiating pure luxury.
Miya stood behind the counter, looking incredibly sharp in a premium white chef’s jacket, her Alpha presence completely commanding the room.
"Miya, bestie! You actually did it! The rose gold accents! The floral displays! It looks so spectacular!" Felix gasped, his rosy pink eyes sparkling as he ran over.
"Of course it does. I don't do anything half-hearted, Velvet," Miya smirked, crossing her arms.
Felix turned to Emily, flashing a bright, cute smile. "Miya, this is my brand-new school bestie, Emily! Emily, this is my terrifying older sister, Miya. She cooks like a goddess but has a violent streak."
"Oh my god, your sister is so cool! And this place is incredible! Nice to meet you, Miya!" Emily's eyes went wide, looking around in complete awe.
Miya's expression instantly melted into a warm, charming smirk as she shook Emily’s hand. "The pleasure is all mine, Emily. Any friend of Felix is welcome here. Sit down at the VIP booth, you two. I’ll bring over some premium signature snacks."
Moments later, the private table was filled with a stunning layout of strawberry tarts, chocolate soufflés, and iced lattes. Felix and Emily were digging in happily, laughing and chatting like they’ve known each other for a century.
"Oh my god, Felix! We have to exchange numbers right now! I need to text you the band’s chord sheets for the weekend tryout!" Emily wiped a bit of cream from her mouth, completely ecstatic.
"Yes, definitely! Let’s swap digits, bestie," Felix said, taking out his high-tech, customized smartphone.
They quickly typed in their numbers, Emily totally unaware that her three legendary older brothers were currently crying tears of frustration across the city trying to find this exact guy. To her, Felix was just her incredibly gorgeous, multi-talented art major bestie.
"Wait! We need to take a picture together!" Emily snapped her fingers, her influencer instincts kicking in. "A brand-new luxury bakery like this needs a major social media boost. Let’s do a group selfie with the snacks to boost the popularity! Miya, get in here!"
Miya slid into the booth right next to Felix. Emily held her phone up high.

The photo captured pure visual perfection. In the center was Felix, looking effortlessly cute and handsome in his pastel-yellow sweater, holding a half-eaten macaroon with a playful pout. To his left was Miya, flashing a dangerously sharp, model-like smirk. To his right was Emily, beaming a massive, heart-shaped smile with a strawberry tart in her hand.
"Omg, the aesthetics are top-tier!" Emily squealed, looking at the screen. "Posting this to my story right now! The campus is going to lose its mind."
Suddenly, the bakery door opened, and a burly, suited Destiano chauffeur stepped inside, bowing respectfully to Emily.
"Miss Emily, I apologize for the interruption, but the estate just called. It is getting quite late, and your parents are expecting you back for the family dinner."
"Ugh, already?! Fine," Emily pouted dramatically, slouching in her seat. She stood up, grabbing her bag and giving Felix a tight hug. "Bye, Felix! Bye, Miya! Thanks for the snacks! Don't forget about the tryout this weekend, Felix! I’ll text you the address!"
Felix waved a cheerful peace sign as Emily sprinted out the door, slipping into the back of a luxury armored vehicle that sped away. Felix sighed happily, sinking back into the plush velvet booth. He was completely unaware that Emily had just uploaded a photo of his exact face, tagged with the bakery's location, directly to a public social media platform where all three of her tech-savvy, obsessed older brothers follow her.
