I Just Wanted to Live

Under The Falling Rain

Under The Falling Rain

Under The Falling Rain💦

"...How do you know my name?" Jun asked quietly.

For a brief moment, the stranger remained silent.

He took a small step back before slowly moving closer again.

Then he gently placed both hands on Jun's shoulders.

"I'll tell you everything," he said softly.

"But not now."

His voice was warm and reassuring.

"Jun..."

He looked into Jun's trembling eyes.

"Tell me."

"What do you want to do now?"

As he spoke, his gaze slowly shifted toward the people gathered at the doorway.

The warmth in his eyes disappeared.

Everyone standing there felt a chill run down their spine.

Almost instinctively, they each took a step backward.

The stranger didn't say a single word.

Yet the cold look in his eyes alone was enough to make them freeze in place.

It felt as though an invisible force had rooted them to the floor.

No one dared to move.

Finally, the pimp broke the silence.

"Who the hell are you?"

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

She pointed toward Kang Jun.

"He owes us a debt."

"So he's paying it back."

"What's wrong with that?"

"His own mother left him here."

"She borrowed a huge amount of money from us."

"She handed him over herself."

"So now he's paying us back with his body."

She glared at the stranger.

"Even his own mother doesn't care about him."

"So why the hell do you care?"

"And you killed a man without a second thought."

"He didn't even know who you were."

She pointed at both Kang Jun and the stranger.

"Don't move."

"You and Kang Jun are staying right here."

"We're calling the police."

"When they get here..."

"Both of your lives are over."

The stranger didn't even bother listening.

His eyes remained fixed on the people standing before him, as if none of their words meant anything at all.

Then, without looking at her, he spoke.

"Just shut the fuck up."

"Your voice is making my ears bleed."

The pimp flinched.

She bit her lower lip, her face twisting with anger.

"W-What...?"

"Just wait."

"I'm calling the police."

She quickly reached into her bra and pulled out her phone.

The moment she took it out, the stranger calmly raised his handgun and aimed it at her.

A loud gunshot echoed through the room.

She cried out in pain and collapsed to the floor, clutching her injured leg.

Her phone slipped from her hand and skidded across the wooden floor.

Panic spread through the room.

Everyone stared in horror.

Some instinctively stepped back, while others looked toward the exit.

The stranger slowly swept the gun across the room until it was aimed at the crowd.

His face remained completely expressionless.

"If anyone leaves this room..."

"I'll kill them."

The room instantly fell silent.

He shifted the gun toward the pimp.

"And you..."

"If you keep screaming..."

"I'll slit your throat."

"So shut the fuck up."

The pimp immediately covered her mouth.

Her body trembled, but she didn't make another sound.

Only then did the stranger lower the gun.

He turned toward Jun.

The coldness vanished from his face.

His expression became calm once again.

"Jun."

He spoke gently.

"Tell me."

"Do you still want me to kill them..."

"...like you wished before?"

"Or do you want to leave this place without looking back?"

"It's your decision."

He looked directly into Jun's eyes.

"From this moment on..."

"It's your life."

"Your choice."

"And whatever you decide..."

"I'll accept it."

Outside, the clear blue sky slowly disappeared behind thick, dark clouds.

A cold wind began to howl, slipping through the shattered window and filling the room.

Jun's hair was swept across his face, but he didn't bother brushing it away.

A few moments later...

The first raindrops fell.

Soon, the rain grew heavier, drumming against the roof and windows until its sound filled the entire building.

Jun slowly looked into the stranger's eyes.

This time...

There were no tears.

His voice no longer trembled.

Every tear he had shed over the years had finally run dry.

Silence settled over the room, broken only by the steady sound of the rain.

Then, for the first time...

Kang Jun spoke without fear.

"Then..."

"Let's kill them all."

Outside, the rain poured harder, washing over the streets until the roads were completely soaked.

Inside the room, Jun's eyes slowly swept across every face before him.

"The people who tortured me..."

"The people who watched and did nothing..."

"The people who ruined my life..."

"And the one who abandoned me here..."

Every person who had once looked down on him was now staring back in fear.

A faint smile appeared on Jun's lips.

A smile unlike any he had ever worn before.

"Every single one of them..."

"I want them all to disappear."

"They stole my childhood."

"They took away my freedom."

"They turned my life into a living hell."

"So..."

"Let's end it."

"Let's kill every person who traumatized my life."
