“Be my refuge. If you don’t mind.” Alex says it while looking helpless by choice.

Liam finds Alex’s actions a little bit suspicious but carries on his act. He starts to speak with a concerned tone “Sure, I will take you to your destination.”

Alex feels happy but after one moment he again turns towards Liam and asks “Do you even know how to drive? Do you have a license with you?” 

Liam starts to laugh and as he laughs his eyes behind those black bangs starts to disappear. Alex got struck by Liam’s youthful beauty and mischievous nature. A little smile takes shape around Alex's mouth without him noticing himself. 

Liam answers lively “Professor I am a gem in this field. For your information I also have a license. I recently got it as soon as I turned 22.”

“So, worry less and be ready for the smooth ride.”

Alex keeps looking at that face and finally responds “Ok I will be in your care then.”

“Be careful, I am serving you my life on a platter. Don’t risk it.” Alex teases Liam as he completes his words. 

Liam takes charge and starts to make moves. Alex rests on his seat and keeps on looking outside at every passing scene with curiosity. It was a completely different feeling for Alex. Although Liam had ulterior motives behind such care, but for Alex it was a breadth of fresh air in his dried and static life.

Liam suddenly asks Alex “Professor, can you put your location on, so that I can drive your home.”

Alex turns toward Liam's direction and puts his location on the device. He was about to go back to his position but he starts to speak and says “Liam you can call me Alex if you want.”

Liam feels like a conqueror who had just defeated a civilization as hears those words coming out from Alex’s mouth. It was a big stepping stone in getting close to Alex. Liam responds with a victorious tone “Yes off course. Why not? Also, the professor sounds so formal. And now as we are off campus it will be good if I can call you that.”

“Thank you. Alex” Liam keeps his eyes on the road as he finishes his words.

Alex’s insides surge with an enormous heat as he hears his name from Liam’s mouth. It was like an emotion still unknown to him. He takes a deep breath and returns back to his position. 

The location Alex had put on was not of his home but was of Emma’s bar. A place which Alex visits often in search of peace and escape from the unbearable past. 

As they arrive at location Liam looks a bit shocked then surprised. His whole efforts went into vain as he failed to get Alex's address. He had lost the opportunity to know whether Alex really was a stalker or not?

Liam in shock asks Alex “It feels like we have arrived in the wrong place. My fault.”

Alex chuckles at Liam’s shocked reply and says “No, Liam you are indeed a good driver.”

“Thanks for the ride. We are absolutely at the right place. I was planning to come here only.”

Liam once again takes out the last card from his pocket and says “Then how are you planning to go from here later?”

Alex replies in a soft tone “Don’t worry I will book a driver. You should go to your place now. I will book a cab for you.”

Liam looks disappointed but he boosts himself and thinks now that I am getting close to Alex there will be plenty of situations to get such information. I should get going now. 

Liam replies “No, Alex I can go by myself there is no need for it.”

Alex says in a demanding tone “Why not? You helped me and now it’s my turn don’t reject it. Otherwise, I will feel indebted.”

Liam accepts Alex's offer and without knowing, he himself with his own smart mouth gives out his own address to a Mafia. Alex cracks up in a laugh.

Liam looks at Alex with a confused expression and says “What happened? What made you laugh?”

Alex composes himself and in a sarcastic tone replies “Liam looks out for danger outside; naïve kids are prone to such risks.”

Liam still feels a little confused. Liam feels as if Alex has taunted him and replies “I will do so. You should also fasten your seatbelt.”

Liam sits in the cab and moves ahead. Alex watches him go and then goes inside the bar. Liam felt an uneasy feeling inside his chest which won't go away, so he stops the cab at a distance of about 500m from the bar. He gets down from his ride; there he sees men with weapons in their hands entering the same bar as Alex. Liam takes a turn to run towards the bar but suddenly someone grabs his hand from behind and covers his mouth with one hand and pulls him.
