I have to tell that Child of the Red Moon is going on an indefinite hiatus. It is because I feel like I have more responsbilities towards my life and while working towards them, I won't be able to consistently write new chapters. But fear not, if you've read so far and have likes the story, the COTRM will definetly return. It could be 6 months, maybe an year, or maybe more. But I will definetly continue the story.
This was my first story idea and I have a special place for this and want to share it with the world. And I feel like this hiatus will also give me chance to reflect on my shortcomings when writing and read more books to expand my vocabulary and improve prose which I've been told that they are sometimes repetitive.
Born beneath an ominous Red Moon, Kei Woldtor was never meant to live an ordinary life.
Whispers of a curse follow him from the day he's born. As the whispers spread through the estate, his mother grows weaker by the day, waiting for her husband to return from his journey to an unknown world.
Where magic is everything, the newborn seemingly possesses none. As secrets surrounding magic, bloodlines, and the past begin to unravel, Kei is drawn towards a fate far greater than anyone could have imagined.
What starts as the story of a cursed child becomes a tale of obsession, inheritance, grief, political decay, and the terrible cost of truths uncovered too late.
Some inherit kingdoms.
Some inherit curses.
Kei inherits everything that should have died before he was born.
