Daisy sat on the bed, still pouting when a knock came from the door.

Daisy looked at him.

"I'm sorry. I just vented all my frustrations on them."

He sat down on the chair Leon had pulled for him.

"Why are you apologizing?"

Leon looked at him calmly.

"They are the ones who should apologize to you. You did nothing wrong."

He paused.

"And it's alright to let out your anger instead of keeping everything inside. Also... I'm sorry. I should have formally introduced you to everyone."

"No, that's alright."

Daisy smiled slightly.

"Everyone knows who I am now."

He started eating his meal.

After a while, he noticed something.

Leon wasn't eating.

Instead, he was going through some documents while sitting beside him.

Daisy frowned.

When Daisy brought food toward his lips, Leon took a bite and held it toward him.

"Open your mouth."

Leon froze.

He clearly hadn't expected that.

But after a moment, he accepted the food Daisy offered him.

He carried the empty plates outside, where Alex was already waiting.

Alex nodded and left.

"Not sleeping?"

Leon's voice suddenly broke the silence.

Daisy looked away.

"I'm not feeling sleepy."

After a few seconds, Leon placed his documents aside.

He walked toward the bed, lifted the blanket, and lay down beside Daisy.

"Husband..."

Daisy hesitated.

"I wanted to ask you something."

"Sure. What is it?"

"Why are you so kind to me?"

Daisy quickly continued.

"Don't misunderstand. I mean... it's only been a day. We suddenly got married, and yet you're being so gentle and kind toward me."

Leon remained silent for a moment.

Then he answered.

"Daisy, it's true that I was against this marriage."

His voice was calm.

"But that doesn't give me the right to mistreat you."

He looked at Daisy.

"The reason I was always against marriage was because anyone who married me would have their life placed in danger because of the work I do."

"My enemies would target them."

He paused.

"But Daisy..."

"You are my husband."

"And because of that, you are my responsibility."

A soft expression appeared on his face.

"Just like I'm your responsibility too."

Daisy smiled.

That answer was something he hadn't expected.

"Husband..."

He hesitated.

"Can you please change the way everyone addresses me?"

Leon looked at him.

"It feels strange being called mistress."

"Then what do you want them to call you?"

"Sir would be better."

Leon nodded.
