"May they return safely." I repeat to myself. Directing my eyes to the grandfather clock, the loud ticking ringing in my ears. Outside you can hear the werewolves howling in the distance. I walk up to the large window and pierce my eyes into the darkness, all my eyes find is the darkened wood and stunning white full moon. It's just another late night by myself and nothing more.

I turn around and snuff the candles to go upstairs for the night.

And as I lay under the covers, I pray that my parents make it back alive.

Light hits my face hard and heavy. My eyes flutter open and I see daylight pouring through my windows flooding my bedroom. Was it morning already? I get up quickly and go downstairs to check up on things. Two vampire knights at the base of the stairs and giving a solumn expression, getting ready to speak of grave news.

"Lady Raven Blood, I am afraid we have tragic news." One of the knights explains to me. Tears form and I knew the words he was speaking of.

"I am so sorry."
