This isn't a proper chapter, this is the Index where important information and basic info on all the characters is relayed so when you need a little help remembering something or someone you can check it, please read it first before proceeding to the prologue as the important information is extremely important for the story.

Places, names and other information used in this story are only inspired by our current life and planet, as there are changed information and locations for the sake of the plot. Please consider this story as taking place in an alternative universe to our own with similar rules, but not quite the same.

I really like connecting my stories so there will be similar names, places and even some characters mentioned here from my other stories [HLWC & WSS], however you don’t need to read them to understand or enjoy this story, they just share a few aspects.

Due to some mechanics of the system and personal knowledge some main characters can understand each other even though they have different languages, however when talking with other characters the languages understood by the character in question will be put in bold to be explicit that others cannot understand them, and if it's something the character can’t understand will only be put forth if someone translates for them.

This story was previously three different stories, however since I found it bothersome I decided to join it all. Therefore this story has four protagonists and four romantic leads. Making it eight main characters. Although some characters will have more scenes than others at the beginning in the story they all will have their moment so please be patient. If you find one of them boring or don’t enjoy their storyline, feel free to skip their parts.

The index [first chapter posted] will be constantly updated, so if you ever don’t remember a character or their info, you can go there, as I’ll be putting there even info on side characters and some important extras. There you’ll also be able to find the previous floors they already explored as a small reminder.

Disclosing about the main couples: three are m|m and one is f|f, however two characters will have m|f relationships before being with their romantic interest, so please be patient as some of them are slow burn. Some of them also have a somewhat age gap, but the biggest age gap is seven years.

We have 4 different protagonists, the story will be told through their different perspectives, the change will occur when I put the name of the character in the start of a paragraph. The story will still be narrated in third person because I suck at first person storytelling. Sometimes we’ll have the romantic interests perspective or stories, but such won’t be a constant thing. The name in the perspective will reflect which languages will be understood through the text, whatever is in bold will be the language the character understands that differs from their native language. If you are curious about the languages they understand or which is their native language, please check the index.

When you see this symbol:  𓇢𓆸, it'll signalize a passage of time in the story (change of perspectives will only use the character name, if there is both a passage of time and a change of perspective then it’ll have both the symbol and character name). While the symbol: ☘︎, will signalize the end of the chapter. At the end of every chapter I'll put the status window of any relevant character, as I'll avoid repeating it during the story to not become jarring, and won’t place them on the Index otherwise it’ll be really troublesome for me to constantly update it. If you don't wish to read it, you can just skip it, the informations there will always be relayed during the story, however as I know that sometimes you might want to check it and it might be boring and annoying to check the whole chapter, I'll constantly put in the end, so it can be easier for everyone.

This story will contain: gore, violence, foul language and sexual innuendo in most chapters, so those might not always be warned. There will also be instances of religious intolerance and religious persecution (with both religions that are fictional and real (with real ones is more of intolerance than persecution, and it won’t be that constant as it’ll be with the fictional religions), so it might be uncomfortable to some people). The explicit chapters will have a warning, be it for sexual content or extreme violence. If any of this is upsetting to you, please avoid reading it. This is a +18 story, I won’t always describe sex scenes because I’m not good at them, however it will have every now and then, especially really explicit language especially by one of the main characters.

Oh, and please also keep in mind not all characters are saints or good people, they might change during the story, but it’s completely ok to hate them, some even have personalities made for hating, so don’t worry if you’re annoyed or angry at a character, it’s probably what was intended.

As this story will be updated biweekly, it might have repeated information or descriptions for the sake of those who read every update. If you’re reading it all at once, please keep this in mind.

Updates might sometimes be inconsistent as I’m working on this story along with HWLC. That is my priority, it won’t go beyond a month without chapters, though. If you enjoy the story please share, give it kudos or just keep accompanying it, as it helps me feel motivated to write more ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡.
