Liam wasn’t totally unconscious from the start. He knew how Alex had carried him from the bar to his room. He had felt the warmth of Alex’s actions, how Alex had tried to calm him when he had a bad dream. Liam was quite moved by those moves.

Liam was a child who didn’t received much of care and love in his childhood. He used to be a child who believed in sunshine and hope. But as time passed unfortunate events happened in his life which made look at the dark truth of the life. Death for him become one such truth in itself. He lost a few good people he had from a very young age.

For him affection and love were just two terms which didn’t carry any meaning. He craved these emotions at a young age, but later on accepted his fate and settled for rough life. The care Alex had shown him was like a spark in dry land. It was leading to a fire in his mind, which left his whole body burning with heat and heart pounding in desire for TOUCH.

He was craving for closeness and for warmth of affirmation. He then pulls Alex down towards himself and places a gentle pack on Alex’s lips. As soon as their lips touched, Alex pulled himself back from the temptation. 

Alex loosened his grip and released Liam’s hands. He softly says to Liam “You are not in good shape, I guess. If you keep going on, you will regret it tomorrow.”

Liam gets confused with sudden movement. He tries to get up but as he tries, he falls back on bed and becomes unconscious. Liam was having a fever. His body was burning up. Alex takes care of Liam the whole night. In between Alex keeps on thinking about the incident that happened earlier. 

The wind coming from the window gently caresses Liam’s cheeks. He opens his eyes and looks at the ceiling and realises he is not home. He becomes confused and hurriedly tries to move out from the blanket but suddenly he feels a pressure of something on his feet. Alex was sleeping on the corner of bed at Liam’s feet. 

Liam looks at him, as his gaze moves down to Alex’s lips he remembers yesterday’s events. Liam’s face flushed with redness as he remembered his own actions. He looks at Alex who was sleeping and thinks what the hell I was doing yesterday? Why does it have to be you? If you are this much gentle then why are you masking it with the coldness? What made you like this?

Liam was deep in his thoughts, meanwhile the sudden movement of Liam had woken up Alex too. Alex gets up and looks into Liam’s eyes. He leans towards Liam and places his hand on Liam’s cheek. 

Alex looks tense as he places his hand and says “I think you are still not well. You should take a rest today. Your face is so red.”

Liam was flustered by the gentle move of Alex and tried to push his hands off from his face. He wipes his cheeks down and replies “No, I think I’m fine.”

Liam pretends to be confused. He does so to avoid any suspicion because in his mind he was smarter. He didn’t want Alex to know he was at the bar to check on Alex. And to avoid the questions, he pretends to not remember yesterday' s events that happened in the apartment. 

Liam with confusion on his face asked with a curious tone “Oh by the way Alex, how did I end in your apartment? I remember that I was being kidnapped by some man? Then how come I’m with you.”

Alex gets a little confused by sudden memory loss of Liam. But as he looks at Liam, Liam tries to avoid Alex’s gaze. Alex understands the situation and plays along with it. 

Alex intentionally says in a teasing tone “Oh yeah, I was in the bar yesterday and when I was about to go home. Two men suddenly drop you off at a bar. You were injured. I took you to the hospital. And then I didn’t exactly know your room no. so I took you here instead.”

Alex chuckles softly as he watches Liam shocked. Liam on other hand was in utter disbelief. He didn’t understand the motive behind Alex’s lies. He thinks Alex is hiding the truth to protect his real identity.

Alex tries to provoke his patient and again says “Well you don’t remember anything that happened yesterday. What a shame. I think you quite enjoyed last night here.”

Liam suddenly realises the whole situation and in defense says “What do you mean? What happened?”

Alex goes into full play mood and says “Nothing, just the words you were saying and that thing which happened made me think like that.”

Liam gets shocked with the freaky behaviour of the man standing in front of him. He clearly remembered the events of the night and they didn’t do anything more. He frustratedly and in shock said the thing he wasn’t going to say. “We didn’t do anything more than a small kiss. What are you mumbling about?”

Alex breaks out in a loud laughter. He keeps on laughing at the innocence of Liam. He calms his laugh and then with a smirk on his mouth says “So you do remember we kissed last night.”

“I think the impact was bigger as you remember it clearly, while you have forgotten everything else.” Alex says as he moves closer to Liam. Liam held his breath and was looking at Alex intently. 

Alex takes his phone from the table beside bed and says “But I was just talking about how peacefully you sleep here. I wasn’t going to bring it up.”

“Liam you yourself had brought it up, just like you did on the first move yesterday.” Alex looks into Liam’s eyes as he picks his phone up and moves towards the room's door. 

“If you are done revisiting yesterday’s memories, shall we have breakfast?”
