Author's statement about the contents of the story:
The characters and places are inspired by myth, legend, history, people's behaviour, listening to what other have to say (whether I agree with them, or not) and my over-active imagination.
However, this is a work of fiction and should not be taken any other way. It is not intended, nor should it be taken as a exposition of any ideology, whether political, religious, or social.
Furthermore, the characters are purely a distillation taken from personal experience. Much of the characterisation also came from learning to sit with the characters to learn who those characters are before setting out to writing their stories. Any resemblance to any real people is purely coincidental and unintentional. I, the author, endeavoured to avoid having any non-fictional people, or countries within this story.
Regarding Human and non-Human characters;
Human characters are used for the Human experience and Human problems. Any characters that are not Human are not being used as allegories for exploring the Human condition in any way, shape, or form. Up to and including (but not exclusively), religion, gender, or sexuality. Characters' opinions and/or view points are based on their canonical history and personal experience. Consequently, there are very critical stances throughout the story regarding several topics because it's what the characters have to deal with.
As confrontational as this may sound... You are not expected to be comfortable with any of it, nor are you expected to agree with any of the characters about any of their view points.
The following story is edited by the author because editors are expensive. Any and all errors are the Author's.
