Jacques (pronounced 'zhacks', as in the 'zh' from Chinese languages):
Ainu. Surname unknown due to having been orphaned. Seems to be a genetic resurgence of a Green Fairy. After the War of Hate some Shinobi – who would later go on to found the Borderless Shinobi – recruited and trained him because he could pass as European and completely drop his accent.
He met Gwen after he had a three year long post break-up melt-down. To his bewilderment he was mistaken for the head of her security and just went with it since he was supposed to get close to her anyway. Years later, he discovered – while ostensibly on vacation – that he is a time and planar walker when went back in time and found himself in the Manu capital in the far, extreme Arctic. The head of the Arkmeno family had been expecting him due to the family Seer foretelling his arrival and they saved his life. He learned from them that he had travelled back to before the Manu Nation fell at the hands of Megleuk's ex, Einar Ahlström. While he was in their care they trained him as extensively as they could.
It was only when he saw her that he realized that Megleuk Behemenos is Gwen Lovelace and put all the bits and pieces of information together. Because he knew something of what was going to happen he made a point of getting close to her to make certain that he had exit strategies in place to get all of her children to safety when the rebellion failed and Einar gained complete control over the Manu Nation. It was while he was trying to get to Megleuk's then-youngest (Gheluso Behemenos) that Enco Arkmeno relinquished her place as the head of Megleuk's Security to him and rescued the Gheluso herself, sending him to go after Megleuk. By then, Enco had earned his trust. While en-route to Megleuk he found himself back where and when he had been vacationing and realized that he must have fulfilled his role in the past.
Loves steadfastly.
Now speaks the main Eiseros language fluently.
'Tracey Jonson':
An Eiseros from the Telkos Range who has told no one of her origins, other than being a seventy-five year old Eiseros from the Telkos Range.
Naturally blond 'black' woman.
As an Eiseros she does not delineate her race the same way that the majority of Narans seem to.
Suppresses her accent to make it harder to trace her origin and endanger her family.
Second in command of the security team. If Jacques is not present than she is in charge.
Her presence in the Security team was by her own design because of a warning prophecy from Blind Father, through a blind elder. The prophecy warned that the end of an age was at hand and that everyone will turn to madness, consumed by their worst traits and characteristics. Because of this madness if the High Queen of the North looses her child she will burn the world to the ground instead of restraining herself as she normally would. This prophecy and warning forced her to think very carefully about what to do. Her sister pointed out to her that if it's the death of a child that triggers the end of the world... Then perhaps the child should be saved. Agreeing with her sister, she abdicated the throne she was supposed to inherit and set off to find the High Queen of the North, who turned out to have been repeatedly betrayed through the machinations of Ausrenok. Something he did because the High Queens of the various Eiseros nations are prophesied to be the only ones who can stop him. Upon discovering Ausrenok's reasons she decided to take on the name 'Tracey Johnson' in order to hide the fact that she is one of the rightful High Queens. She has every intention of putting Ausrenok down for good.
The most well-informed person in the situation because of the prophecy.
Morgan Lachlan:
Taran. Suppresses his accent for the same reason that Tracey does. Believed to be a descendant of the Tuatha de Dannan. Has the power to heal and moves freaky-fast when he poison in his body (it seems to be a threat response). Often makes rounds with the security team to make certain that they're hydrating and having (healthy) snacks as needed.
Trixie Brune:
Ancestry unknown. Good at her job. Professional. Does not like bigots. Has had an overly eventful life.
