Moore and Fadhi family
Moore Family:
The boy that would one day be named 'Brian' was born to a Werewolf father and a Romani woman. A travelling knight prone to PTSD flash-back auditory hallucinations found him and had a hallucination of when his father handed him off for training. Believing that he was hearing the voice of his god he took the boy and named him Brian, taking him all the way to Anjou. When he finally died Brian just felt sorry for the Knight, but had no mercy for the Knight's monstrous sons, so he stole the Knight's signet ring and ordered the imprisonment of the Knight's children. When the King ordered their release Brian had them executed instead of letting them loose on the population a second time. When the King came to intervene directly Brian simply publicly killed the King. Because the King was a much-hated tyrant, the population immediately cheered.
The King's brother heard about what happened and went from Duke to King and installed his younger brother as a Duke, giving him his own lands and instructions to raise a military. Their uncle suggested starting things a more diplomatic footing and find out why Sir Brian had chosen to execute the siblings and the King.
Jeremiah 'Jeremy' Fadhi:
Duke of Morain. An alien Dragon that became stranded on Earth when a chunk of his planet – carrying him – crashed into Earth amidst a barrage of other planetary fragments. A proficient shape-shifter. Married to Etain Fadhi, whom he has had many children with, much to the dismay of genetic purists.
Etain Fadhi:
Formerly Etain Moore. Daughter of Lord Brian Moore and Lady Brigit Moore. Has siblings. Accidentally blessed with immortality by an amnesiac Astra Havenhold, who was and is a goddess of life, the crossroads and pathways (death and old age get lost on the way towards them).
Identical quadruplet and born under-sized. Her and her sisters' birth was so difficult that it was going to kill their mother. Because the amnesiac Astra was in attendance as the midwife when Brigit said, “I'm going to die...” the goddess snapped at her forcefully, “Death shall find neither you, nor you kin – now push!”
Death has yet to find them, but it does not stave off injury, nor disease.
Etain once had temporary psychotic snap and carved Kathrine's face off with a knife after Kathrine told her that she enjoyed watching Yuna squirm on the stake.
Special Note: The tone Astra used was loud, sharp, clipped, hard and a very specific tone usually reserved for barking “Enough!” at people by somebody who is very angry.
Fiach Fadhi (pronounced, 'fee-awk'):
Widowed. Father of Tiarnan, son of Etain Jeremy Moore. Likes to make mini books that can actually be read. Shape-shifter, but not nearly as good at it as his father (he can never quite get the eyes right), but can shunt a lot of mass and even has his own mini manor stocked with books, which he uses regularly.
Tiarnan Fadhi (pronounced, 'Tyr-nan'):
Son of Fiach Fadhi. Hair colour changes at seemingly random. A very earnest toddler without a mean bone in his body. Fiercer than he at first appears.
Yuna Moore:
Biological daughter of Kathrine Fidalgus, by Kathrine's first husband, Lord Fidalgus. At the age of seven Kathrine discovered that Yuna was resistant to magic and had Yuna put to the stake. However, due to Astra Havenhold's blessing on the maternal line Yuna did not die. The stake having caught on Yuna's ribs she remained at the top of the stake for days before being rescued by her aunt Etain and and uncle Jeremy.
